My Children

My children

Year 1974,75 and 77 was the years for me.
That's when I decided to have just my three.
Those three were give to me by our Lord above.
Since the day they were born they've filled my
               heart with joy and love.
When they were born I was in a wheelchair.
Just to have them I knew life was fair.
I was as close to them as a mom could be.
They were my all my wonderful three.
I have two boys and a girl.
With those three lifes been a whirl.
Their all grown-up now with kids of their own.
Now all they do is cry and moan.
They say I'm the best mom and grandmother.
Cause to them I'm like no other.

My Mom

by Michael J Falotico

                                             Mom you are my strength..
made of love from you and Dad..
                                              Heaven holds him close..

                                               Mom you are my light..
now in my eyes you see him..
                                             and now I'm your strength..

From the wood where coyotes play
Blackie cat came on a summer’s day.
Called seemingly, to fill the place
where Rocky the cat lay dreaming.

A proud old tom who’d seen his end
Rocky had held it long at bay.
A Guardian was he of Mom you see,
but when he passed she’d stay.

And he’d not leave till he knew
she would not be alone…
He’d found ole Blackie for her
to give them both a happy home.

Blackie and he had many a day
of lolling in the grass and sun.
But Rocky’s porch he would not share
that was for Mom and he the only one.

She feed them both, each to his own
and cared for both in kind.
Rocky’s plan, he was the man…
was to not leave her alone inside.

So, Rocky's sweet self sacrifice
of staying much too long
was blessed with painless passing
He died in Mommy’s arms.

Now everyday, ole Blackie comes
as Rocky told him too.
To keep his Mommy company
another Guardian true.

Still too frightened to come inside,
Mom’s sure he will one day.
And on that day they’d both be sure
that Blackie’d come to stay.

They both dreaded that day,
Having to
Explain to their only child about the

Birds and the bees
In stepped mom with the flowers
Ready to explain all about pollen and fertilization
Dad looked bewildered, rubbing the side of his head
Stating, “Did I forget your birthday”? While eyeing the flowers

Anxiously he said,
"No! Don’t tell me your are pregnant again, I
Doubt I can go

Through this again,"
Having to sit there and
Entertain herself the daughter decided to ease their pain…

Both looked traumatized when she
Eventually said, “I know all about being in love, all about sex, it’s part of our curriculum
Even the difference in male and female anatomy gets explained”
So mom if you are pregnant, I can tell the baby all about the birds and the bees one day!!"

Hazels Kitchen

HAZELS KITCHEN

How many meals have we children eaten there?
Although possible to count, it’s vaporized in thin air.

Zilch is not the number and we don’t have a clue,
Eating was foremost but mom had other offerings too.

Longing as we do for her kitchen’s sights and sounds,
Scarcely any scraps ever left for neighboring hounds.

Kings’ never ate better and it’s very easy to see,
I just look in the mirror at the extra inches on me.

This little lady knew more than just how to cook.
Calmly speaking without hesitation or a second look,

“Heavenly Father, bless this food.” reverential in mood.
Each word gave us a lesson, in her non-musical etude.

Now mom cooks in heaven waiting for us to arrive.

"my Mommy"

To my dearest Mom I wrote a poem last year.
Once again I'll try to come through and hope this brings a tear.
Mom if I ever had a chance in life it was because of you.
When you told me somthing good or bad I knew it was true.
Your the best Mom a guy could ask for.
So when I said this I meant so much more.
Well I didn't agree with president Obama.
At least I still have my beautiful Momma.

This was wrote for me on Mother's day
by my youngest son Eugene. That will always
have his Momma's love.

"a Year Later Moma"

It's been a year and I miss her so much.
I miss her face and I miss her touch.
My heart broke when she died.
Now I'm alone thats why I cry.
Our mom was all we ever had.
She was both our mom and dad.
I'll miss her with all my heart.
When she left it broke apart.

A Mom Is-

A mom is someone special, a mom is someone kind
When you’ve had a bad day, she knows what’s on your mind.
When you’re not feeling well and you feel like crap
She always comes with open arms and a space for you in her lap.
She doesn’t ask what’s going on until you’ve cried it all out
Then she tells of her experiences and what it’s about.
She wipes your tears away then kisses your cheek
Never have I met someone so kind and meek.
God knew that I needed you
And I think that you needed me too.
Your heart is strong, your hands are soft
They are so warm and comfy like a pillowy loft.
Your hands work hard and serve the Lord
And for that He will reward.
A mom is someone special, a mom is someone kind
My whole life I’ve searched for you were my goal to find.

Happy Mothers Day

From stubbed toes ,countless tears and many more to come
Being a Mom is never done
From baseball games,gymnastics,dances and proms
There is no full time job such as mom
From the punishments like no outside and no tv
To the love that was so unconditionally
From "Its painfull to be beautiful" & " Live and learn"
You taught so lovingly yet so firm
Making us proude to be who we are today
Keeping our mouths shut, if there is nothing nice to say
Working how ever long it took
Just to buy me that new pocket book
Getting the school clothes off of lay-away
Man that was the most magical day
It was enough for you, just to see us smile
Letting us stay home from school every once in a while
When we faught, you were the referee
Sending us both to our rooms so seriously
From being our cheif, servant, personal shoufer and maid
Doing it all without getting paid
Hosting parties on our behalf
To practicliy forcing us to get in the bath
Dressing us from head to toe
Not missing one talent show
Your a magnificent sculpter, molding and creating us
A love built on honesty, integrity, compassion and trust
Love you mom your the best!

"mother"

God took her when I needed her most.,
All I have now is a gold box of her ashes and sometimes , her ghost......

The reason behind this, I will never know,
Its just so hard for me to let go.........

They say the pain will eventually pass,
Its hard to forget all the "girl talks" and laughs....

What I miss the most , since shes not here,
is the way she held me and said...."its okay now, Moms here".........

You never outgrow the need for your mom,
especially on the days when everything goes wrong........

I know there is something in my life now, that I lack,
My Mom is in heaven and I want her back.........

Since I know its not possible for this to come true,
what I have to say now , is Mom I miss you.........

I dont know when I'm going, leave that up to fate,
but I hope that when I get there........
My Mom's at the gate..........

The Inlaws

When two people say I do,
they become apart of another family;
Often times the transitions hard,
and there is hostility.

One often finds it hard to accept,
the in laws for what they are;
Some can be mean and some seem nice,
some are just plain bizzare.

For me that has never been the case,
I loved mine right from the start;
My second Mom and Dad are great,
full of love with generous hearts.

They always made me truly feel,
that I was indeed their Son;
Around them I was always safe,
and together we always had fun.

I wouldn't trade my Mom and Dad,
for money, silver or gold;
For I have been blessed with two of the best,
may the truth be told!

Hood

Mom
U always raised a storm
When I did something wrong
Those blowings made me strong
They stood
 Me good
Thank u mom for providing a hood
Gave me what u believed was right
Ill care for u with all my might
Raised me in a manner
Saw me through your scanner
Made strong helped me when I needed u most
To u I raise a toast
Ur the finest mother I can claim and boast
U tried to tell me all good things
I’ve tied them in my mind with strings
You are so compassionate
Thank you for making me passionate
To reach the sky
And never give up or stop to ask why

Sorry for annoying u so often
I know I need to soften
U too need to control your anxiety
Spend more time with all mighty
Try to lend me an ear
Whenever I hold a fear
Till im on this universe
May god not show wrath or curse
As now u need love n care
My joys with u I want to share
Without u my life would be empty and meaningless
As without my mentor I‘ll end up with uncurable stress
So please take care
As I need u here!
Love u mom
Please be a little more warm

My Mothers Love

she is my mother yeah u know it's true
she can do all the things there is to do
my life is so painless when she's with me
when she comes home my face is full of glee

she has been there through thick and thin
she makes my problems as thin as a ink pin
she is my mom what can you do
all i know you can hate like the others do

my mom she is the best
and for that i am a pest
i love my mom and she loves me
all the things i do i try to leave her happy

my mom is my hero
she says i never have to be a zero
her love for fills me continusly
for that i am so happily

Why Mom?

Why mom why?
Did you hit me and I start to cry?
Why mom why?
Did you tell dad to just go die?
Why mom why?
Did you take that first sip?
Why mom why?
Do you still do it after all these years?
why mom why?
Can't you see it hurts us all?
Why mom why?
Do you even drink at all?
Why mom why?
Can't you see it's killing you?
I wish you'd just stop,
and think it through.
