Premium Member A Hard and Sweet Life

A woman kneads dough for cakes.
She is sad and weary of life...
Into every piece, she mixes both a little anger
and joy – for herself, for the children, for her man.
She holds nothing back from life.
When the cakes are baked,
the anger fades away
and only the aroma of joy remains...

girl love

We sit together,
all legs and breath and sweat.
Our love is like honey, raw and sticky sweet,
open wound blood from a scraped knee.
I take it pumped into my veins,
pulsing through my arteries,
bite my lip just to taste it.
Sink our teeth into each other like we're tender meat;
juices dripping down my chin.
The blurry light of a heat wave felt
in the aching wind moving waves, hair, and heart.
The humming fan overhead mixes
with the ringing in my ears,
and I know forever cannot stay,
but in the silence, she is here.

Gray Sins 4

mixes good with evil, truth with false, reality with illusion.

Premium Member DUSTY

At end of journey returning to dust.
Is that the end of life ?
        Mortal body mixes with dust
What about soul, if it really exists.
Will that also to extinct ?

         Then life turns meaningless.
        So many emotional involvements
       are totally baseless.
At every step humans try their best to
build life , but seems in vain.

      Dust, small scrap tiny dirt,
      humble modest always under feet
skips notice, attention, yet quite smart.
In own status, staying satisfied and fit,
kisses the dead offering last treat.

Premium Member RIVER FLOWS

"River is just ready to flow,
may be fast or may be slow :
     Normal water flow to carry
     aims to reach an estuary.

      "Natural to meet the sea
      We are accustomed to see.
Non -stop runs ! Then and then ?
     Otherwise, what to happen ?"

      "River runs, rushes at ease
       not forever as it seems.
       "Okay ! That's right, whatever !
        Then, what's it's behaviour? "

‘" It mixes with the ocean.
        after unique unison."
     " May I ask , then and then ?"
"You are asking just in vain . "

       " There's no end in endeavour !
        It tries to run forever."
        Non-stop ceaseless river goes
        Continuous as it flows."

" So ! River is too clever.
Great wonder for a river ."
" River may flow in bluster
          or dry up on disaster."

        " Yet, Question : Forevermore ?"
" River has got highest score.
          Forever none can exist.
Always fair chance to extinct. "

Premium Member MANGO CAKE

Mango’s most fruity floral sensations
Angelic purée mixes vexing vibrations
Native-born flushes lush bright red heads
Got it going on, the tongue it savors
Orgasmic orange organic fruit flavors

Crèam de la crème
Always in our humble home, a win
Kudos praises goes berserk
Easter Sunday’s desert!

Premium Member God Style

God starts to pour words into the mind
Which is the start of inspiration, I find
And in the mix things start to grind
The intentions, inspiration in our mind's God-lined
And the turning into all that's combined

Then God pours into the batter freewill
Every nuance, introspection, subtlety and thrill
All whisked together, the grist for the mill
And it all mixes rapidly and yet still
There's no machinery, no A.I. to ink out our quill

[Non sequitur]
So what happened to all the notebooks
The fragments and familiar phrases, lines and hooks?
And why wasn't credit given when someone overlooks
Where the black and white is found? not in babbling brooks
But in obscurity you'll find hiding the crooks

Eyes on the prize

My two eyes view the prize,
As atoms materialize,
Wise to my emotions,
They perform the chosen perspective.
Respective of my beliefs,
They achieve their directive,
Working with the collective,
Erecting a reality.
Gravity the force,
Keeping us on course,
We share it all with the source.
Intercourse with energy,
Is building the entity,
Created to be felt physically,
Viscerally experiencing what you see.
Learning about eternity,
And infinite possibilities,
Feeling everything intensely,
We start creating memories,
Imprinting them in galaxies,
And parallel realities.
The legacy of a timeline,
Intertwines with the Divine,
Yours mixes with mine.
All eyes shining on the prize,
We're seeing a new life rise,
The surprise on the horizon,
A rising son,
Shining light on another one,
Open your eyes and have some fun,
Because the journey is never done,
This prize is for everyone.

Easy Comes Bad

Sad poems come as easy as death.
Blue skies are easy.
Love poems are hard, easy
comes bad.

Dying comes hard, writing about it
is the easy part.

Angst, anger, regret, self-pity
all are as easy
as writing a grocery list.

A wry humor and wit,
one that mixes sugar with vinegar,
smiles with tears,
such can say something
solemn,
while making a Mourning Dove
both merry and wise.

Adrienne

Snoopy, kewpie, Barbie, Ken,
Chicken-licken, Hen-len,
Can’t compete with Adrienne.

Andrew Jackson, William Penn?
“Bolero”, “Arthur”, “Tarzan”, “Ten”?
Not a patch on Adrienne.

My Adrienne’s a honey:
She’s witty, pretty, funny:
looks great in silks and satins
and mixes mean Manhattans.

Tagus, Tiber, Severn, Seine,
zloty, sous, sestertii, yen -
I prefer my Adrienne.

Armstrong, Aldrin, Colonel Glenn?
Zoroaster? Zion? Zen?
Think I’ll stick with Adrienne!

Premium Member KALEIDOSCOPIC MIXES STRANGE BED-FELLOWS

Orange red the yellow;
Brown cow moo-ed
While white pigeons grin;
Grapes and raisins beloid;
From deep purple to blue;
Varies rainbow glitters;
Kaleidoscopic mixes strange bed-fellows;

Premium Member Slow Loris has a deadly Trick

a slow loris has a deadly trick
she takes her time, she’s sneaky and slick
venom is held in her elbow daily
Let’s pretend she is angry with my cousin Bailey.

The slow loris mixes venom with her saliva in the yard
then bites Bailey with her sharp teeth, good and hard
could he die? Oh, yes, that is the slow loris’ goal
She has already racked up a decent death toll.

Premium Member Picky Eater Hugh

I do not like peanut butter, potatoes, cheese or chocolate said Hugh
To other foods I suggested, he rapidly replied “ooooh”.
I could tell by face, they were not a favorite in any way.
This was an eye-opener for me, his grandma, this day.

He was supposed to stay with us a week what could I do?
No foods in my cupboards would appeal to young Hugh
What is in your refrigerator? My cousin Louise asked me.
Brownies, cake mixes, potatoes, cheeses and a large cooky.
