The day dwell in night
That prevails with all its might
The rising sun shines
Man starts digging under mines
The rivers rise and fall
Winds too blow and roll
The concrete is all that is visible
And bad dreams dropped in shackles
The chores very mundane
And they are left to my disdain
The rays of hope and joy
And the beautiful beds of poise
Are the companions for life
That makes me take the pride
On the path of rides
Where I reach with tides

Mines
The choice of what is needed.
Versatile love guide.
Living with empowering desires.
Viewers from afar.
Feeling new love, power, satisfaction.
In the secret of completion.
For other values.
Finding the new value.

Thank you Lord
For a new beginning
Thank you Lord
For the grace to overcome
The vagaries of the old year
Show me the way to go Lord
For you are my divine compass
The way the truth and life
Thank you father for the new year
Lead me father every inch of the way
For the roads are strewn with mines
They are strewn with demonic entanglement
They are threatened by the desire to look back
And be turned into a pillar of salt
I move forward with confidence
Assured You are with me always
And no one can be against me
On this journey of righteousness
To repossess what rightly
Belongs to me

Uninteraptently,
In God's mines of:
Love,
Compassion, and
Virtue, he,
Diligently, worked all lifelong
Thus
Incalculable riches, his soul
Succeeded in amassing
That
Lasted for his entire journey on earth,
And that of heaven!

Daffodils are oh so hard to grow
In soil hardened by lost souls
Meadow larks are fast asleep
Do not disturb the passing hours
Don’t drink down oceans resting
Or step on land mines slumbering
Planted in our dreams we keep them safe
For their own sake we bury them
Ornery crows scream in discontent
Wake the state of harmony
Rusted devices planted years ago in holes
Hide by design in places meant for flowers
Below the surface of the mind
Just as potent and just as old
Alarmed by vibrations or slightest of sounds
Please don’t step on land mines
It would be a crime to wake the sparrow
It would be an atrocity
So keep it quiet when you explode
We must keep the peace you know

Stroll through the land mines of love
Steer clear of a vial of perfume
Swerve 'round a leopard-skin thong
Blush at the ruby two-lip blooms
Stroll through the land mines of lust
Remove all your clothes if you must
Your pulse races, palms sweat to death
Lie down in these pastures
~ Hold onto your breath

Those little gloomy eyes,
Mining dreams,
Imagining a red mansion,
Golden ceilings and Diamond chandeliers,
With a tint of yellow,
Cat lying on the pillow,
Peaceful chirps of garden,
Watering the flowers is done.
Those bright shining eyes,
Mining dreams,
With a cozy apartment,
Royal grey ceilings and bright chandeliers,
With a tint of royal blue,
Yarn that the cat threw,
Peaceful sounds of accomplishment,
Seeking warmth and achievements.
Mining different dreams,
But same eyes,
Mines produced different needs,
But same warmth.

when industry
stood on this soil
with chimneys that
spewed sweat and toil
the furnace fires
relied on mines
through arteries
of railway lines.
now looking back
to charcoal skies
through rosy mists
of childhood eyes
a line of trucks
each filled with rocks
crawled slowly past
a signal box.
the building formed
a silhouette
that framed a scene
I wont forget:
the dying of
that worldly light
was captured there
in black and white.
I'm standing now
where true art stood:
in a 'reinvented'
neighbourhood
where sleepers sleep
beneath the grass
where once those engines
used to pass.

I breathed in the scent of the sunsets,
Cherry pit war mines covering the street,
Rose colored petals dancing in the background,
The sun painting me pink,
Crickets symphony under the lights,
That Summer that never left me.

Be beware of some people"
they're like land minds
and land minds never lie
they wait patiently
they wish to mince the future
blow hope into thin air.
Bones streaking above earth
like dirty runaway stars
souls fleeing from burning fields
ashes becoming lavender echoes
silky memories sprouting scars.
The next generation blindly racing
to the edge of the siren's glade
where there is a sign
"land mines never lie"
and dreams wither in the shade".

You’re Mines and Gods--- FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE
May I look at your beauty with my hand?
May I touch your body with my mind?
May I kiss your soul with my lips?
For heaven’s sake, just heaven’s sake
May I travel with you in your dreams?
May I stand before with God?
May I embrace you with the taste?
I look, I touch, I kiss
I travel; I stand as I embrace…
Now of all the things I’ve become
I just would rather be yours
Call on me in your spirit dreams
May I listen to your heart?
May I speak out to your inner self?
May I kiss your heart with my last breath?
I listen, to look
I speak, to touch
I kiss, to stand up to embrace your mind
Your to humble and kind
Never would I cross the line
You’re forever Gods
For heaven’s sake,
Just
Heaven’s
Sake

Mind The Mines
Deep in the pits he digs with no miner’s lamp in hand to lighten the grime
‘alight’ whisper diminishing grips from the edge of bored winzes whence
the shafted canary slowly progresses towards breathless suffocation
Fists in anger palms and realms blistered oozing from purulent scratches
surface subdued in labyrinth’s mazes wretched wrenched and perplexed
An ossuary with bones and fragmented ember of mental contention crushed
seduced by toxic waters confronting the essence and one final leap for the void
Then buried yet glimmering a candle flickers to shine and gold dust blows
the canary and the miner a kiss of life so that Orpheus finds solace in realisation
that shadows and light must be married for a way in and way out to emerge

His priceless smile
his humorous jokes
the touch of his hand
the feel of his lips
the countless, 'I want you'
his fault, my faults
the misunderstandings
untold cries
the innumerable, 'I'm sorry'
millions of, 'I miss you'
I can't be without you
our undeniable, 'I love you'
memorable laughs
unforgettable kisses
momentous memories
but forever out unquestionable connection
