Best Mines Poems
when industry
stood on this soil
with chimneys that
spewed sweat and toil
the furnace fires
relied on mines
through arteries
of railway lines.
now looking back
to charcoal skies
through rosy mists
of childhood eyes
a line of trucks
each filled with rocks
crawled slowly past
a signal box.
the building formed
a silhouette
that framed a scene
I wont forget:
the dying of
that worldly light
was captured there
in black and white.
I'm standing now
where true art stood:
in a 'reinvented'
neighbourhood
where sleepers sleep
beneath the grass
where once those engines
used to pass.

I breathed in the scent of the sunsets,
Cherry pit war mines covering the street,
Rose colored petals dancing in the background,
The sun painting me pink,
Crickets symphony under the lights,
That Summer that never left me.

The mines have taken my strength
taken my sight
and taken my breathe
Crawl to the light I cannot, thus my
Energy
Nor will I see the light before I die
I am hopeless.

I've got two arms, with two hands. Two legs, with two feet. But for everything I have double, in quantity, I have one mind, one heart, one mouth that is equally important, controlling what I feel, how I think, and what I say.~ Most importantly I have one soul, that embraces other souls no matter what my eyes see, or portray.

Mind The Mines
Deep in the pits he digs with no miner’s lamp in hand to lighten the grime
‘alight’ whisper diminishing grips from the edge of bored winzes whence
the shafted canary slowly progresses towards breathless suffocation
Fists in anger palms and realms blistered oozing from purulent scratches
surface subdued in labyrinth’s mazes wretched wrenched and perplexed
An ossuary with bones and fragmented ember of mental contention crushed
seduced by toxic waters confronting the essence and one final leap for the void
Then buried yet glimmering a candle flickers to shine and gold dust blows
the canary and the miner a kiss of life so that Orpheus finds solace in realisation
that shadows and light must be married for a way in and way out to emerge

Be Mines
Today is your day
To have fun
Talk to your friends
Tell them you
Don't
Have time to talk
And
Tell them it's
Valentines Day
And you about to
Go out with your
Date of tonight
And I see ya'll
Later
I
Can't be late for my
Date of tonight
Be Mines
For
Tonight

His priceless smile
his humorous jokes
the touch of his hand
the feel of his lips
the countless, 'I want you'
his fault, my faults
the misunderstandings
untold cries
the innumerable, 'I'm sorry'
millions of, 'I miss you'
I can't be without you
our undeniable, 'I love you'
memorable laughs
unforgettable kisses
momentous memories
but forever out unquestionable connection

Thank you Lord
For a new beginning
Thank you Lord
For the grace to overcome
The vagaries of the old year
Show me the way to go Lord
For you are my divine compass
The way the truth and life
Thank you father for the new year
Lead me father every inch of the way
For the roads are strewn with mines
They are strewn with demonic entanglement
They are threatened by the desire to look back
And be turned into a pillar of salt
I move forward with confidence
Assured You are with me always
And no one can be against me
On this journey of righteousness
To repossess what rightly
Belongs to me

GOLD MINES
It is not far away nor is it near
Its treasures are lost because of fear
Where men of the time are fully made
Gladiators are they without blood or frail
Where can it be that I mayest see
O! My mind enrobed in majesty

the mines of death the miners knew,
black in the face the workers too,
too many years of underground,
sweat for the masters' dollar go round,
and death got paid his due,
good ol coal miner, you!
in blackness never found,
coal covered in the mound,
awaiting till,
resurrection,
dill ...

Those little gloomy eyes,
Mining dreams,
Imagining a red mansion,
Golden ceilings and Diamond chandeliers,
With a tint of yellow,
Cat lying on the pillow,
Peaceful chirps of garden,
Watering the flowers is done.
Those bright shining eyes,
Mining dreams,
With a cozy apartment,
Royal grey ceilings and bright chandeliers,
With a tint of royal blue,
Yarn that the cat threw,
Peaceful sounds of accomplishment,
Seeking warmth and achievements.
Mining different dreams,
But same eyes,
Mines produced different needs,
But same warmth.

Rhyme
Daffodils are oh so hard to grow
In soil hardened by lost souls
Meadow larks are fast asleep
Do not disturb the passing hours
Don’t drink down oceans resting
Or step on land mines slumbering
Planted in our dreams we keep them safe
For their own sake we bury them
Ornery crows scream in discontent
Wake the state of harmony
Rusted devices planted years ago in holes
Hide by design in places meant for flowers
Below the surface of the mind
Just as potent and just as old
Alarmed by vibrations or slightest of sounds
Please don’t step on land mines
It would be a crime to wake the sparrow
It would be an atrocity
So keep it quiet when you explode
We must keep the peace you know

Uninteraptently,
In God's mines of:
Love,
Compassion, and
Virtue, he,
Diligently, worked all lifelong
Thus
Incalculable riches, his soul
Succeeded in amassing
That
Lasted for his entire journey on earth,
And that of heaven!

The victory is mine, not Lucifer's
The Creator I know is greater than any God on this earth
The Creator I serve is magnificent and awesome
His salvation is the cure, light, and peace of this world
In him, I will trust because I have learned that in men
I shall fall short and be destroyed by the wicked of this earth
The victory is mine, not Lucifer's
The glory is his for the Lord Divine is always on time
The Creator I know saves and transforms
He changes and restores
Delivers and heals
Our Father is a well-known Therapist
The best in the Universe well educated and Certified
He is one of a kind thee number-one Consultant
That's always on call and time
The God I know does not judge nor does he complain
He has the ability to listen to all men attentively
You heard me,
The God I know is an excellent Surgent
Yes he is the very best Consultant, Preacher, and Doctor in town
With just one word, touch, and a little faith
Your wounds, injuries, and illness are healed
All you have to do is sit back and believe
The God I know is an excellent author of many books
His word is the truth and has the power to touch the hearts of many
Throughout centuries men and prophets marvel at his stories and words
The God I know has extraordinary power with just one word
Miracles and wonders are performed
Doors of opportunities are open
The broken-hearted are healed
Seasons of events are turned into lessons
Adversaries are no longer a fear
The God I know is tremendously victorious
Therefore I will not be afraid
His love and salvation shall see me through every storm

Some people say life is short,
life is full of it, I hate life,
I hate my life, I hate the world Im in,
I don't like what Im going through,
and so on and so on.
Well some people just sit down and whine
and complain. Its not really worth it.
Some people are truly blessed that they
ain't just been through it all.
Well for me I go through it all everyday.
Well not everyday, but what my life be
bringing to me.
Have u ever felt the lust and the pain
Have your life ever felt
as if it was unfold in hell?
Well all we do is complain.
But who are you to complain if
you ain't mostly went through it all.
I been through the broken glass
I was forced to give up something
that was very important to me in life
The part of life that is the best thing
that everyone is proud about
The part that you know for sure that you
are when you come into this world.
Well for me Im glad that God was with me
but through it all I found that
I can trust no man
cause my only man is God.
A Life of Mines
This boy held me down
and try to take what was something
that was very important to me
I cried to myself for days
Wondering if this will ever be over
But one thing I know
It truly woke me
All his jealousy
I couldn't have certain friends
I couldn't do the things I wanted to do
It felt like I been locked up
locked up in his world
What he has done to me
It hasn't left my life yet
A Life of Mines
He is the one who says he loves me and mean it
He is not a liar or cheater.
He is my healer.
He raise me up when Im down
When Im up
he continue to keep me that way
Unless I let other things get the best of me
Have you just let your hand just reach out
to the one you truly can depend on
No not really cause a friend is not a friend
A family is not always a friend
Betrayal in this world
got it bad
Its sad how we reach out
and point fingers at each other
because what I see in this eye
Is something I hope you can relate to
