We might as well stamp license plates
Government work makes us inmates

We'll search for retirement dates

the virtual distance

Evil Queen

Antarctic Meltdown

majestic glaciers
the hottest day on record—
Antarctic meltdown

Purple Meltdown

Purple wig on purple clown
Laughing while he's counting down 

Princess in her gala gown
Through the streets of Chinatown

On her worried face a frown
She's looking for her misplaced crown

While the clown can't do much about her meltdown
He'll at least help to get her home by sundown

long after a full moon 
had thrown its arms around the sky
I stood with Al Stone 
ignoring the futility in our lives
adolescence gave way to manhood
or so we like to believe
our ideology stifled 
from a serious lack of dreams
with the care of a midwife 
removing a child from the womb
a marijuana cigarette was born

the sun melts slowly
a silence falls on the land
an eagle circles
my heart pauses in wonder

Espionage
Sabotage
Foreign fingers are on the power plant switch
And the Chaos Candidate robots, 
holding the extortion payment stash,
don’t seem to

do you want some fun 
in a parked out car
or a video chat one on one

maybe a song
maybe several
maybe a kiss
life should be gentle

but its often not
it often gets hot
and your shoes start to melt
into the tarmac

At no time did our lives ever bond; instead, we became a cacophony of confusion. I can't imagine why we assumed that surface and skin-deep beauty was enough to sustain a relationship. All income is lower than any bill
poverty swells, about to exhibit
to all options the mind would have to drill
fat growing needs already prohibit
the spouse and the children all will survive
whips from the family from unknown foe
yet stay intact and thankfully alive
but reduced in value to share a dough

What have I done? I’m breaking.
