Mimics Metamorphosis at the metro station, 
Metronome minimalism

In The Wind

Wind grieves, singing her song to the twilight
Breathing stories of a distant sun, 
Pulsating poetry in rhythms of blue blessings,
Touching the night the way hope sighs
Erasing the silence and coloring the still
With a whisper, misty eyed and effervescent.

Fellow

 • Such a charming fellow
• With eyes a vibrant yellow 
• He'll stare you down
• Often with a frown
• Befriend him and you'll see he's quite mellow 

Color Blind

How can we understand each other's color,
When we use the same flavored word?
It's impossible to say it any duller,
And through our glasses the meaning is blurred.

To you something bright as the sky,
Will always strike me as navy blue.
With a fire truck we could try,
But to me it is simply maroon.

Something as distinct as a rainbow,

Celebration begins,

Chilled bottles of champagne.

Creates bubbles and fizz.

Gray Mellow Morn

Overcast morn
Gray skies mingle
Life mellows, rain

A mellow meadow,
golden buds bloom in splatters;
Positive outbreak.

POSTLIFE TIME

Found herself long in the tooth
Burdened with responsibilities 
As the clock kept ticking 
Being hospitable began to wane
Regardless of hope keeping in touch 

Working harder had become symbolic
For she had a negligible threshold
That supremely played a crucial part
A part in soaking all the fitness up
Until she lost the spiritedness

violet sun's turned mellow

then peach and plums swirl
whereas blue-green day left, spent
red creeps in, silent

clouds of antique rose
where has cream butterfly gone
fireflies on the lawn

marble moon appears
glowing in seas of colors
trills undercover

O let my Old Age be Mellow

Childhood being a period of innocence by and large is quite blissful. The old age also can be quite so if it is truly treated as a second childhood. Life and death are equal journeys as death happens right from birth— why this sonnet is equally divided in two sestets followed by a couplet.

Mellow Flash Hope

swoon beam on the edge
optimism tempered twinkle~
frontward through the dawn

time passes away
echoing in hollow past~
future whispering

nothing left inward

It's Supposed To Make Me Mellow

So they've upped my medication
From 10 mg to 20 mg
It's the stuff that's supposed to make... mm... mel... low
I almos... uh... almo... almost nodded... offfff!
Don't think it's strong enough yet... thhh...ough!
Hopefully I'll soon start writing about fairies and pretty flowers
Instead of demons and evil monsters

How To Mellow

Catch tugs towards their berth
  Little yacht traipses triangular trail
  Cottage clasping slope admires bay
  Fisherman’s wife swells, eon enamour
   

   For his boomerang voyage, she brings
   Tomato rocket fishpaste pita bread
   Thermos of jasmine tea, to picnic
   Basket bemuses bee buzz
