In my mind skies can be blue
thoughts can turn and swirl
and take an unexpected whirl
feeling like I've consumed a witch's brew

Just when I think there'll be no end
I find the perfect spot under the sun
to drop off what feels like a megaton
and soak in that sunshine before I call a friend

Premium Member Third World War

My thought was the third world war had begun

Fireworks plagued our 'hood by the megaton

I placed earplugs in my ears

As neighbors hailed the New Years

I in blissful sleep let them have their fun

Your World Will End

your world will end
you know the trend

unless you grab the now and run
ensure companies do their share
vote leaders in who dare to care
for this our home under the sun

ensure companies do their share
the work remains, so little done
so sorry it is yours, my son
vote leaders in who dare to care

your world will end
ensure companies do their share
decarbon by the megaton
vote leaders in who dare to care
you know the trend

you know the trend
your world will end

Cain's Complaint

One morning ere the sun burnt hot
My brother Abel pleased me not,
And though my face shone like the sun,
When moonlight came I cudgeled him.
Oh, had my brother marked me well
There were no more for me to tell.
One morning when the sun burnt hot
Again my brother pleased me not.
I cut a bough to make a bow,
And with a dart I laid him low.

When next time he pleased me not
I made a gun and with it shot.
Should he provoke me but once more,
I'll have yet deadlier things in store.
Bombs I'll make till I have one
That shall dispatch a megaton.
Then shall my brothers mark me well
And there'll be no more to tell.

One evening ere the sun had set
Through his device his end Cain met.
And Rachel wept and Sarah sighed
When Cain the unrepentant died.
"Though there was God in Heaven to trust,
he found for me and poisoned dust,"
wrote Death his epitaph,
"And so I'll have the final laugh."
But then at last the Archangel cries:
"Cain's had his day. Let Abel rise

Go Back To Sleep

You just had another nightmare,
and you’re trembling
under the covers so scared
But then the devil says:
why are you awake,
go back to sleep!
Return to that REM place
where it’s safe ...
no more wakey wake!
What was it that frightened you
in your sleep,
made you have recurring bad dreams?
Was it the people you saw screaming,
who were burning
As a megaton missile
delivered radioactive rain
Was it the children you saw crying,
who were drowning
As a tsunami shockwave
sent them to a watery grave
Each night, you have the same nightmare
that makes you so scared
But the devil don’t care,
he rails on you:
why are you still awake,
go back to sleep!
Get back to the deep dream place
where it’s safe ...
no more wakey wake!
When that autumn mushroom night
turns into a nuclear winter sunrise,
then you can open your eyes

Defcon Zero

Nuclear Poetry,
  a single bomb drops

To wipe out the hate,
  to reset the clock

A megaton scream,
  its verse burns alive

The plague of excuses,
—deception and lies

Megaton Bravo

Low life and much scrutiny is all I hear about our nation’s name.

Followed by racial comments and jokes about the bomb that brought us pain.

Swept away the island’s heart that still remains the same.

Radiation that sprinkled down and we thought it was rain?

Instead, it was the bomb’s fluid that snuck into our ancestor’s veins.

But don’t get it twisted, this is nowhere near a hatred poem.

This is a dedication for the people on boats who first rowed them.

Day by day they would slowly paddle away.

Carry on the dagger in our stories that still is passed on until this day.

I call them the greatest, the greatest of the greats.

But the greats couldn’t be the greatest unless they started nowhere near great.

Radiation to get use to pray out loud for heaven’s sake!

Radiation used abuse to pray out loud to Heaven’s sake.

Hands down to think about the talk about with no doubt.

It exposed thousands in the surrounding area to radioactive fallout.

So bravo to the “Megaton Bravo”.

Also, the combo and the pain that followed made RMI the greatest surviving motto.

Truth

Truth casts no shadows
Truth tells no lies
Truth never runs and truth never hides
Truth it stays silent till one lights that torch
Truth it gets told and liars get scorched
Truth makes its stand in the midst of dark danger
Truth causes fear and truth causes anger
Truth is a weapon of megaton strength
Mad monsters fall and truth never blinks
Slaveships they sink and masters get served
Truth sets you free from your worries and woes
Truth's a tall shining tower in a black wicked world
Tell the truth and shame the devil...
Truth is Gods word

Megaton

Walk neath the runes of my utterances of love
Spoken words into lost lovers decimal of kiss
Feeling theologizing of acquiescence , each immortal sorrow
Soft words etched in elaterid stages
Whiles angels bring miracles
Placidly each sphere comes to light
Homes in Olympus angels unawareness
Winged beings,angels divine knowledge
Interpreter of prophecies
Through pitted streets scuttling lost baggier
No lasting thundering of time
My face in living flames, I am the flowering rose
Fanned with reflections
Oh soverereign angel, find me breathing
Angel , my messenger of light
Come receive me, children cry

Megaton lights streams , cries heard
Begriming my journey to enlightener
Stone manifestations occurrence
Divines , ageless body
Astral projections,I am all
