Yes it will be up to the next generation to re-green the earth. We must all do what we can by stopping waste and not polluting the ocean too. Thanks, Paulette. It's hard to remain hopeful in such gloomy times. This poem was headed toward a much darker place, but it turned with a simple "unless...".
