shaking
stand surely
striving to stride
steadfastly sober
stretching skills, not sudden
shaped along serene success*
supplicating, shining--- soaring
smiting slothfulness and selfishness…
sharing blessings from God’s supply store
secured through faith of stewardship
settled against dearth sorrows
suffice, conquering stress
sustained for showing

Obedience demonstrates our true love for God,
by keeping His commandments on the path we trod.
Only God knows, how and when, our life will end,
the steps that we’ll take and the rules we’ll bend.
God alone knows, a heart and mind, for certain,
and His judgment looms beyond death’s curtain.
But forgiveness awaits for our life’s wrong choices,
and each time one repents, all Heaven rejoices.
Ephesians 6: 1-3
6 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
Why am I so fulfilled with love's grandeur?
Tis a question, without a clear answer!
Far too sane, to hunt for the perfect man.
Nay, disgustingly to brag,I once did.
Indeed,the treasure of treasures, the one!
That thou mayest neither touch nor to bed.
Because it is true as the rising moon.
Thou shalt not have him, not now, not yet soon.
In a castle, is our gentle domain.

alas, some aspects not:
The morning temperature feels chill;
by midday it grows hot.
The money spent on cell phones'
long-term value which I sought,
Too soon is gone, as more is spent
on upgrades I've since bought.
The sun in its celestial course
yields light, black night, or shade.
Old years tossed out with calendars
as fire's embers fade.
Some friendships evanesce,
forgetting promises we'd made
Our children grow and move away,
as hair grows thinned and greyed.
Staunch boughs of trees are shaken by
harsh winds, enduring long.
'That time of year thou mayest in me
behold'; thy love's more strong.
You've been my life's sweet constant
