Instructed By the Book of the Law
Taught by God’s Word
free from deceit’s blight
I learned that I can be empowered
to practice what’s right…
My service is acceptably done
along God’s might
To involve in His work
of heavenly kingdom-advancement’s height.
Instructed by the Book of the Law*
authenticated by divine righteousness
I read that I must keep it
with heartfelt gratefulness…
My sanctuary-worship is genuinely
experienced along God’s holiness
As I testify about His love
of triumphant joyousness.
*Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
