Premium MemberSoaring only for Love

Do I write from the heart? Do I write as a song?
This voice inside is so far from all wrong.
For once in this life, in these hills that I roam,
I'm not afraid to give my new love a home.
It hasn't been gold, nor grand open plains,
Life was atop this high rocky range—
Learning to do at a half-lived age.
Now, it's all different; the spoils are all gone.
But the wings are all spread, as the wind lifts the dove,
Higher, and higher, above,
To bask in the sky where I feel totally new.
Love is atop of the cool mountain view,
Where I'm in love with you, too.
Now the pair of white doves will soar,
On to the place we've never been to before.
A beautiful freedom that belongs just to us,
With a wide-open sky soaring only for love.

Premium MemberThe Night She said no

That night was a long and lonely night
A night to be much remembered
It was the right she said no to me
No to the love and affection I had for her
As i sat down reflecting on that
The words she said to me came to mind
She said "baby am sorry, sweetheart it's all over"
It was a night like never before
It was a night of long knives

I gathered the shred pieces of my heart
And I told myself it may be the end of us
but it was not the end of the world
I better get hold of myself and get moving
With a mended heart there are many possibilities
The night she said no became a watershed in my life

Premium MemberI Want The Rock

I want The Rock

Turn a phrase you say
But all I got to say to you is time and time again I say No!
No, no ,no

Tell me not pray
Well all I got to say to you when you tell me not to pray, I say No!
No, no, no

So if you ask me why I like the Truth, the Life, the Way
There is only one thing I can say to you:
I want The Rock

There’s a reason that
I get from nothing else and there is Someone else in the world that makes it so
So, so, so:

Turn God’s power up
I’ve waited for so long so I could quote my favorite verse, contextual, know
Know, know, know

When I read It I feel the Spirit shooting through me
And there’s nothing more God can do:
I want The Rock

Premium MemberThe Taste of You-

Seemingly delicious
I cross the hue
Spoken, broken
I speak life unto
The Air is sweet
My eyes so speak
GratinFying suspicious
Breathe in air breath so delicious
I thank you for the soothing breeze
I Thank You for the greater light,
 the sun shine that heats
Feeds my energy.
And melatonin
Sweet, the touch sweet to taste.
SWEET The view

Premium MemberThe Heartwood Canticle

Thy curve hath taught
the rosewood how to sing
and my fingers
long roughened by cedar
grow gentle upon thy hips
returning unto the edge of thy ebony

Through forty harvests
rain hath polished
snow hath kept
the sun made sweet the grain

Lo, the wood thrush calleth
from the bough
where once this timber
drank the morning

Thrice I say unto thee
I love thee—

And another ring
God closeth
in the heartwood

Premium MemberOut of this World

Dusk darker themed—
Eventide, where I drifting, dreamed
Softly sighing, stars arcing gleamed
Moonlight and shade pass over me.

My life and day now pass away
While in the glooming dusk I lay
Time abides till our final day
Then whisks us up and far far away

Into that darkness flecked with light
Seeking our place midst starry night
Silently roams the meteor,
Left to right—
Pray, a gleeful soul taken flight?

Far far above the moonlit blue
Turned the living orb, shining-new
Passed the horizon a glow endue
The Sun, golden, dawning into view.

Premium MemberNot Quite 'Blowin' in the Wind'

~ Sing this to the tune of 'Blowin' in the Wind' ~

How many breakdowns will it take
                   ‘til you know
               There’s way too much stress
                    in your life

How many times do you have to be told
                    Never make
                       a pretty woman
                         your wife

Yes, and how many bills will you have to pay
                     for seeking
                        professional
                           help

                 The answer, you fool
                     can't be learned in school
                        The answer is learned
when she steals the family jewels

Premium MemberPSALM 71:21 God You Will Restore Me

Wooo a woo ooh ah ah
Restore, me restore me, My God restores me

Jehovah, I trust in you
Through every season through
Every storm, storm I seek you, daily.
Holy, Holy Holy
You're my haven, my home, my safe refuge, Mine, agape, love, love, love, love love.
God, you are my life long refuge.
It's you whom I pursue

Oh! God, you will restore me, me.
Restore me to even greater honor
And comfort me once again again and again ,
You are my source of victory.I am restored in you.
I'm free, freed I give you an everlasting,
 heart of praise
Hallelujah glory to God always
Hallelujah glory to God always
God you will restore me

Premium MemberA Time for Things to Be Present, Past and Changed-

Souls comes a time
When the body lies and rots
So comes a time, Ecclesiastics
a time for things, to be present, past, and changed

Such is a time that belongs
To Holy Abba Father Elohim
For humanity within,
their free will

To be still in the free will of Jehovah kiss
A breath of life within us
A time for simultaneous physical and spiritual life
We see free will, even in strife

We will waste time, killing time
subliminal
One day in the flesh time will kill us can't complain
a time for things to be present, past and changed

Premium MemberMy Song

The price demanded was the highest ever
to ransom my lost, dying soul from hell;
yet, He paid it all without a murmur,
God’s wondrous grace to me let this song tell.

A life of hope is mine because of Jesus;
He gave me joy I never could afford,
opened my blind eyes to view His splendor
and brought me peace, sweet peace, God’s perfect peace.

His life was offered up, the sweetest savor,
love’s sacrifice; sin’s awful cost was paid.
I cannot tell why my Jesus loves me;
I only know He died my soul to save.

CHORUS
For all eternity my heart must praise Him,
the King of kings, the everlasting Lord,
the only one who gives my soul salvation
and a heavenly mansion as my reward.

Lord I'm just a sinner.
Do with me what You will.
You sacrificed Your life for me
But I'm a sinner still.

My eyes cannot behold You
Yet, in my heart I know You're there.
I come to You on bended knees
To ask forgiveness with a prayer.

Chorus:
I sing Your praises loud and clear
So every son of man may hear
That the Son of God is always near
And someday soon will reappear.

My soul awaits Your healing touch
So I may receive Your grace.
Show me the path that I must take
That I might someday see Your face.

May You find me worthy
As a Christian on the mend.
I wandered years in darkness
But saw 'Your Light' in the end.

Chorus:
I sing Your praises loud and clear
So every son of man may hear
That the Son of God is always near
And someday soon will reappear.

Premium MemberYou

I used to like what you would write
Of how you viewed this love and life
Of great happiness and strife
But now that's ended

All I have is memories
Of your literary treasuries
Of which I feel I'll never see
Never again

I don't know why you don't write
Bringing day into the night
Dissolving shadows by your light
Now empty pages

If I had a single wish
You would write again

Premium MemberEchoes on Cobblestones

I walk alone on silent cobblestones,
Deep in a darkness that is mine alone.
The thoughts of past years cannot slow my stride,
With nowhere left to run and nowhere left to hide.

The wraith of a silhouette is all my own,
Dragging its chilled ghost of flesh and bone.
No breath in the air, no whisper anywhere,
Just hollow shadows fading in the winter glare.

Grey-light breaks to warm my heavy steps,
Marked deep upon the frozen stone it cuts.
I marvel at the leaves, all aimless blown,
As morning wakes the ancient, silent cobblestones.

Premium MemberCeraunophilia - To Dance In The Storm

Oh to be fearless, to dance in the storm
And break free from the confines of norm...

Beneath those ominous, lumpy clouds
Captured in the swirls of hurried wind,
My arms open to the sky where my eyes are fixed
Swaying joyously in the rain.
The rumbling rolls of thunder
Stimulate and excite
Building up tension and suspense toward
That expected flash of light!

The bubbly base of the clouds turn silver.
It's like the sky tells the land, " Say, 'Cheese!' "
Though darkness conceals earths colours,
The flash briefly exposes their glory.
A normal response is to hide indoors,
To distract from the noise and chill -
In life, I must learn to loosen up,
Perhaps occasionally seek a thrill.

Oh to be fearless, to dance in the storm
And break free from the confines of norm.
