Not Quite 'Blowin' in the Wind'

  
      ~ Sing this to the tune of 'Blowin' in the Wind' ~

	       How many breakdowns will it take
                   ‘til you know
               There’s way too much stress
                    in your life

                How many times do you have to be told 
                    Never make
                       a pretty woman
                         your wife 

                Yes, and how many bills will you have to pay
                     for seeking 
                        professional
                           help

                 The answer, you fool
                     can't be learned in school
                        The answer is learned 
                           when she steals the family jewels

Co-opting such a solemn, iconic melody to deliver a dose of sharp, real-world cynicism gives the whole poem a great comedic bite. I think you managed to take life’s most stressful, expensive hard knocks and turn them into a delightfully irreverent song. Dylan would be proud! Blessings, Daniel
