The curved fondle of an embrace
within the moistened kindle
of an evening's oiled lamp...
the splendor of your lubricious mouth
gathering all that's aflame and gentle

and I will find the slippery blue of eyes
dressed in your lavish kiss---
never knowing this potion of alchemy:

Dare I blink bewitched by
a caress of such pleasure
drip by drip , my being drawn
to relish that glide
of a nape pulsing through starlit glow
waxed by sweet grease of our shadows--

that nothing else will fulfill me

-but your ardor under all dew.

Unrequited

Katie’s ribs pressed against her skin,
the sharp angles of a body once soft.
She lifted her blouse, let me see—
the stubs, the little bumps,
two perfect incisions smooth as marble.
I swallowed.
Physically lubricious—I couldn’t do it.

Her perfume fought the chemo stench.
Coiffed mascara, a careful face,
a practiced smile, teeth too straight.
She asked if I still wrote poetry.
I said nothing.

Once, she stretched across the hood of my car,
blonde roots peeking through red box dye,
sipping melted ice from a gas station cup,
her freckles a map I traced in secret.
She could talk for hours,
a queen without a kingdom.

She whispered after the hysterectomy,
baby gravy’s got nowhere to go.
No need for rubber—
I trust you.

I left the room, shame humming in my jaw,
the sound of her voice stuck in my teeth.
Later, I cried.

War Mongers

the ravishing revolution,
a wanton waltz of war,
where proud generals prance,
with bloody,
bruised hearts' saw,
their noble steeds,
a phalanx of fantasy,
trample the trembling,
tender/timid/bereft/faint,
the mere infinite.

in this bloody ballroom,
where death's dark majesty reigns,
the lubricious language love/lust,
of liberty's sweet pains,
is reduced to snarling insolence,
a dry, dusty joke,
as kings and queens of chaos,
trade in promiscuous fortune,
and bottomless debt,
and ravaged/rotten hope.

Premium MemberLady from Kent

A lubricious lady from Kent
one night to a nightclub she went;
there, she spied a young guy
thought she'd give it a try;
turned out, given that up for Lent!

So she lingered around at the bar;
when soon entered a Jolly Jack Tar.
Hello sailor, she said,
will you take me and wed?
He shot off, in his getaway car!

"All a man really wants, is a girl who looks good in a bikini." - Jack Freestone

Hot white sand sticks,
tingles the salacious sense
of beach-braced feeling,
clad in skimpy bikini.

Out of the blue the golden sun gilds
the skin unconcealed,
lubricious assets fix attention focus,
the imagination latitude narrows.

The construct of the consummate mind,
the unsculpted bikini body beguiles.

Premium MemberThe Halloween Queen of Tarts - Saucy

The Halloween queen puts cement in tarts
A crafty way to bond with a man’s heart
One tart is enough to stiffen one’s bits
Witches have such extraordinary gifts.

This witch is not of the usual sort
Casting of spells is not par for the course
She’s a thriller, cement is her filler
The tarts she makes are her for sure killer.

Some men can’t resist the charms of a witch
Dressed up to the nines, quite an exhibit
With the skill of seduction, they mesmerise
Promising their suitors the time of their lives.

With tarts appealing, simply delicious
The men are won over and lubricious.
Taking all that’s on offer, however
A moment’s pleasure, they’re gone forever.

Modern Appetite

Modern Appetite
by Michael R. Burch

"Women, wine, song ..."

It grumbled low, insisting it would feast
on blood and flesh, etcetera, at least
three times a day. With soft lubricious grease

and pale salacious oils, it would ease
its way through life. Each day—an aperitif.
Each night—a frothy bromide, for relief.

It lived on TV fare, wore pinafores,
slurped sugar-coated gumballs, gobbled S’mores.
When gas ensued, it burped and farted. ’Course,

it thought aloud, my wife will leave me. Whores
are not so damn particular. Divorce
is certainly a settlement, toujours!

A Tums a day will keep the shrink away,
recalcify old bones, keep gas at bay.
If Simon says, etcetera, Mother, may

I have my hit of calcium today?

Little Lucy likes liver
Long legged Lou loves Lucy
Loquacious Lenny laments loudly
Lovely Linda listens little
Listen Linda Listen!
Laborious Leroy lives luxuriously
Lethargic Larry lies levitating
Liberal Lillian languishes longingly
Looking languid, lacking levity
Lexical Lexi, legendary lewd librarian
Loves licentious liaisons
Lecherous Lucas lubricious libertine
Looks lustily like leading lothario
Lugubrious lyric, ludicrous lines
Lacking lucidity, looney lunacy
Lightheaded lexicography!
Lucrative limerick?? Laughable!

Once Upon a Meaningful Life

Upon meadows of luscious green,
A lubricious life of sweet serene…
Upon valleys of the vastness view,
A liquescent life of the dawning dew.

Upon majestic mountain’s perky peaks,
A loquacious life as Heaven soundly speaks…
Upon the refreshing rivers rejoicing runs,
A lacustrine life amidst smiling suns.

Upon caring clouds that hold their weep,
A lachrymal life as the skies soaking sweep…
Upon towering trees that swing and sway,
A liliaceous life in a perennial play.

For life is love and love is life.

Extradiction

what is love?
if lust is must avoiding being hurt.
Thus, be taught
the thought is fought when oriented
by lots in events that flagellates
the tough innermost instinct.

Whereas, some beings feel unleaded,
we fret ,they flee
on a fraught forlorn freight from fear,
forced not to succumb to flair.
For I fear not that frail tear
affiliate me forth till I find not fur on foxes.

what makes us not?
usurping in love's flux
on the augment phase
it's prurience and vaults
same as lubricious cause
let's be true, to me and you

The Butterfly Kiss

The full moon gazed blindly upon us,
Its light peering through every crack and crevice,
I grabbed your hand and sprinted near the cliffs,
Both of us panting once we reached the palm trees.

We could feel the sand blistering on our feet,
Wallowing and clutching at each other to feel the heat,
We fell down together on the crystalline sand,
And the shooting stars obeyed the command.

Your eyes, framed by long lashes,
Were irresistibly charming with bright glows,
The constricting coldness in its pupil drew me in,
Yet still betrayed your creamy feelings dripping.

You then started to turn slowly,
Your cheeks first, very chubby,
Followed by your lubricious lips,
It graced against mine with a brush of our eyelashes.

Hangover-Bangover

For Cecil...

Feelin' like a moose, I drank too much o dat juice
I was kel on All That but now I fell flat
What happened last night
Will I ever feel all right?
Lubricious waves of melconcoly cascade like a torrent of falling stars
What happened last night
Now I'm hung-over, and last nights bang is over
She kicked me out of the room
Boom boom boom
A sigh beneath the sheets. I just want to weep. When will this be over?
My brutal hangover.
What happened last night...

Pink Lady

beneath pink
lace

the healthy scent
of pink perfume

in gentle slopes and
warm valleys

tender lingering touch
explores

the silken down
sheltering

pink mysterious
depths

of intoxicating
nectar

at life’s lubricious
center

beneath pink
lace
