Notes About The Poem
Lubricant Contest of Kai Michael Neumann

Lubricious Kind Of Potion

The curved fondle of an embrace
within the moistened kindle
of an evening's oiled lamp...
the splendor of your lubricious mouth
waking all that can be desired

knowing now this potion whiffs alchemy:

Dare I blink bewitched by
a caress of such pleasure
drip by drip , my being drawn
to relish that glide
of a nape pulsing through starlit glow
waxed by sweet grease of our shadows--

that in twilight's enchantment

- your ardor releases what's tame.

The language is as slick as the theme. Enjoyed this. It was "lubricious". Congratulations!

You have written so many poems with a talent flared ink that consistently amaze and thrill me so I'm a bit shook by my reaction to this poem - it is beyond romantic, titillating and captivating. Love it. Soooo delicious this poem is! Now I need a mint on my pillow. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

a fabulous poem for the contest...I struggled with finding some idea, etc., to write about. You've inspired me.

You have a way the pulls every breath from the room, and like all who feel you’re work… I’m left breathless!
