Premium MemberGarden of Love

Will you meet me in the garden of love,
and kiss me in the light of a Moon-Flower,
then dance with me in the Rain-Lilies,
our Love-In-A-Mist from a midnight shower,

We could whisper sweet floriography,
as you shoot at me with Cupid's-Dart,
until our Love-Lies-Bleeding in a floral bed,
and we're entangled in a String-of-Hearts,

If I could be your Morning-Glory,
would you look at me with Starry-Eyes,
then Kiss-Me-Over-The-Garden-Gate,
as we fall in love under pastel skies,

Would you picture me as a Bleeding-Heart,
a reflection thine own,
and will you promise to Forget-Me-Not,
cause flowers die but memories won't

Love-In-A-Mist

My dear Love-in-a-mist, if ask this brain
Who was indeed insane: Abel or Kane?
Two brothers who loved one beautiful girl,
So long blond hair, thick with many a curl

No need clothes at all to cover her body
Shining like telling: “Put your hands to me
To see if am I alive or just your dream!
Under sun -melting just an ice-cream.

But tricking shadows or shades of gray
Give her this power to trouble each day;
So, only the god of the rain can touch me.
All tribes even if try, cannot ever feel free

And never can see this freedom in the mist.
Think, for them it's almost like, I don't exist.
Maybe one climbs a mountain of happiness
To count the freckles on this heavenly face.

Somebody said Beauty will save the world;
I must ask again and again my good Lord,
If in this war, Beauty will win, or the beast?
Love-in-a-mist missing in mission to East!

Beholding In Awe and Gratitude Such a Bliss

As I amble along, a trance me shakes

an immense silence, I fear, my tread wakes

A respite from angst in an oasis of rarity

my stroll in timelessness and spirituality

A joy of mind dancing in thrill and ecstasy

lulling my soul into a winsome reverie

Forget me nots calling for vernal breeze

heartseases blooming, poundering throbs I seize

Love in a Mist promising a golden summer

a stunning pallet! a peerless paintbrush to colour

Morning glories, beauty and forbearance

flowering souls, no void and time for abhorrence

Marguerite Daisies dropping a curtsy to shiny sun

a night retreat, then paths of charm to run

One rare of gems from The Master of the Universe

poets ever carving its ineffable beauty in verse

Artists blend their appealing hues and rising perceptions

a work of Art of emotional power and pure impressions

Beholding in awe and gratitude such a bliss

many of God's grace and blessings I miss.

Premium Member'love-In-A-Mist'

A charming garden bloom called Love-in-a-Mist,
an old fashion flower romance kissed;
enclosed  . . . .   in a misty web,
with frilled leaves like thread.
So pretty,
toxic;
no kitty!
Grows wild in meadows,
in gardens it sweetly flows;
attracts butterflies and honey bees,
in the full sun this flower sways in the breeze.

A Layout and Rhyme Pattern I imagined back in 2015,
that I call Poetic Ramblings, is best centered,
and is suitable for any theme one wants to write about.

Whimsical love-in-a-mist
Himalayan blue poppy
Elegant lily of the Nile
Graceful columbines
Playful balls of hydrangea
Ravishing blue daisy
Humble globe thistle
Delicate flax blooms
Sublime forget-me-nots
Breathtaking cornflower
Exquisite blue anemone
Blooms of every shade of blue
Paradise for me and you

Going To Seed

 “...fallen into the sere, the yellow leaf”
As the Bard penned, describes eloquently
How old age steals up on us like a thief
At night, invisible and silently
We frown at the mirror in disbelief
At wrinkles, lost teeth and vitality
So, something that brings a smile to one’s face
Helps roll back the years and glumness displace

The label promises blooms from this box
Each yellow sunflower yields thousands of seeds
Which lure insects in swarms and birds in flocks
Its cousin, cosmos, will out-climb the weeds
Nigella (or love-in-a-mist) grows stocks
Of blue flowers enough for all our needs
Oh, and then there’s the lovely red poppy
No other garden flower can copy.

Antirrhinum (from Greek) means `like a nose’
Called snapdragon it opens for a bee
A cold weather plant that can survive snows
Midget, medium or tall it might be
But each red, white, pink or yellow bloom glows
Like a hot ember incandescently
Last, lavender exquisitely scented
If they all grow, I’ll be well contented

Premium MemberMy Mother Taught Me Everything I Know About the Flower

My mother taught me everything I Know
About the flower,
From azaleas to zinnias
And the heavenly golden hours;

Shortly after sun up when
We sense the world profound;
And later on when nearly gone, fading
Fast when stars come ‘round.

She sang and danced with daffodils
And smiled at the scent of a rose;
Gave thanks and praise for the One who made
Periwinkles, poppies and marigolds.

My mother sewed seeds that outwitted weeds
Leaving them withering away;
Of Love-in-a-Mist with her own sweet kiss
She planted on petals each day.

While waiting for gardenias, daisy’s
And lilacs to arise;
Together we watched as nature taught
Us to open our eyes.

To the mystery below the surface,
The roots deep in the ground;
Water, sky, air connected some-where
Beauty remains unbound.

My mother taught me everything I know
More true than weeping willows cry;
How color filled buds lift hearts and souls
With sorrowful, tear filled eyes.

And that living and dying are one and the same
As light is both wave and other;
On the edge of tomorrow where love knows no sorrow
And flowers bloom bright
With my mother.
