Do yuh.? Think so.? What
do you know.? Or want too..?
Or maybe not do? Have you told me.? And how would that be.? Looking
In a micro-scope.? Into a mirror.? Dope? Letting your emotions choke..? How does
Hatred taste.? Though delivered with style and place-ment..Do you pay the rent.? To enable those..Who guide with distractions
Oh manys the nudges too..All delivered in a
Vat of fuzzy feel good-goo.'
By yet by just ( WHO? ) jamming it ( through.'
A Band on the roof!) bitter sweet! that you might?
Swoon 'at a ' mad-jest-icks
feet.? I wonder? Did any of that marmalade.? Like a Malady into
Your minds pervade..This world this age.' And madness's parade..
Theatre and drama ( all laid bear' ) made? with the
Innocence almost.' of a child-like ploy..Do you ever wonder.? In the space between..Worlds ( why such bitterness?) And also mocking..? Juxta-pose or hyp-nose.? or 'just?' as any perfume brewed.' If you would like to remove the evil..And yet there is a
Breathing space..' Here is what you can do
Call the King of Love into your being
heart soul spirit..The purpose being? to better ' the world of your own self ' In He who has true power.' And eternal paradise the real wealth?? Today apply this salve upon your life..Christs blood to free, and
Heal just receive, and bow, to remove all bitterness from the space you inhabit ( claim it now! )

Premium Member Drawing a Blank

Drawing a blank, now how's that possible
Unless you use invisible ink
Then what's the purpose if no one can see it
Kinda senseless don't ya think

However it seems I can kinda remember
The comics offered this kit
You wrote with a pen containing invisible ink
After rubbing it appeared bit by bit

Thought the whole thing was simply magic
Master spies is what we became
Belonging to the army's intelligence corp
Sending notes in an espionage game

Oh those were fun days of make believe
Pretending to be super sleuths
Slinking around passing invisible messages
Those super fun days of my youth

Joke of the Day

Did you think you had control
Did you think you had control,
Ha, ha!
Did ya think you had control?
Did you think you had control
Ha, Ha!

You cast yourself a god
In a solo one-act play
You wrote the narrative
To play the hero of the day

Did you think… (repeat)

Now a plague is on the land
From a foe you couldn’t see
It blunts your livelihood
And deadens your family

The meek, they shall inherit
But what is it they crave?
We closed our eyes to dream
And woke up in a cave

We closed our eyes to dream
Just to wake up in a cave

Did you think you had control?
Did you think you had control,
Ha, ha!
Did ya think you had control?
Did you think you had control
Ha, Ha!

Bawdy Beverages

JACK DANIELS met JIM BEAM at the CANADIAN CLUB
to discuss their upcoming trip on the CUTTY SARK.
They were planning a vacation to a Caribbean cove
to get some SOUTHERN COMFORT.

JOHNNY WALKER, who had a disagreement with
them over their SLOE GIN game, wanted to
give them a SAKI. "VODKA ya think you're doing?"
chimed in GIBSON, who was a BEEFEATER sitting nearby.

"It's not like EARLY TIMES...so just wipe that
SMIRNOFF your face." A brawl would have started,
but a beautiful woman came in. "Look at them
COURVOISIERs," said the MARTIN MILLERs.
They noticed her ring with the BLUE SAPHIRE from
BOMBAY.

JACK DANIELS immediately lost interest in the argument,
and asked if he could sit with her. She agreed and he sat
down. He noticed that she had a B & B monogram on her blouse.
"I've not seen you here before...what's your name and where
are you from?" he asked.

In a charming southern accent she replied, "Ma name is
MARGARITA, Ahm new in town, and Ahm from HENNESSY."
When the waiter came over, they ordered two MINT JULEPS.
It was the start of a relationship that the DEWARS of them
enjoyed, especially when they bowled SCOTCH doubles together.

Well cross my eyes and call me Lucy
Met the sweetest lady of the group
She turns my crank, gets my motor a-racing
For poetry I don't give a poop

Should rename the site “Meet A Sweetie”
More appropriate don't ya think
This real cutie's on my mind the whole day
From her cup of nectar I drink

Age doesn't matter when it's a fantasy affair
Thirty years don't mean a thing
As long as our cravings are satisfied each day
The world continues to sing

Met a great big bunch of sweet ladies here
Not enough digits to count 'em
All I can say is my whole life's enriched
Each of these darlings is a gem

So this is my way of thanking youse guys
Where our creativity is nourished
Making all our lives a lot more worth living
Allowing friendships to flourish

If I had the choice to start over again
What would I rather have been
A rocket scientist, a famous writer
Or a stand-up like Norma Jean!

Must've been fun to make 'em laugh
To make people giggle and smile
To help them forget life's many struggles
If only for a very short while

Now that's what I call a fun type job
But I'm sure it had its down side
Like sleeping all day and up all night
Could make a person bleary eyed!

Must've been hard in New York City
Trying to please a tough crowd
Her comedic skills are evident today
When you read her poetry out loud!

So instead of a comic, I became an artist
Kinda similar in a way don't ya think
Both creative and unique occupations
Guess we both ended up in the pink!

Premium Member The Leprechaun's Gift

They were sitting thar leaning back in their chairs
near the bar down at old Murphy's pub,
when a tiny old man, with shillelagh in hand
pushed open the door with his club.
Not the front door, the one back by the moor,
the door hadn't been used for yars,
but he slipped on through with his hat all askew
then signaled old Murph for a beer.
Now, there was many a town where strangers abound,
but not in the town Killyclare,
so word spread fast, until at last,
half the town's lads were thar.
Twas then doncha know, the old man arose
and tiltin' the hat on his head,
"twas a time for sure, used this club for war,
now I use it for lore instead".
There be stories told 'bout Leprechaun gold
in a pot at the end of the bow,
and the wishes you'd get if it's me you could catch
for the prize of lettin' me go.
But me darlin's I pray on this very fine day
not ta be waistin' your time.
Ya see, all the gold's in yur heart doncha know,
as fer wishes I'll tell ya a rhyme.

If ya wish for a Miss just for her kiss
and a lassie with which justa play
and don't care for her heart cuz ya think yur quite smart
then you'll only have fun for a day.
If ya wish for gold, the story's been told
then you'll miss out on silver and bronze,
for the journey's worth more than a pot o' gold ore,
it's the struggle that makes yur heart strong.

Then through the door blew a wind from the moor,
as the leprechaun tapped with his cane.
Then he leapt upside down - on his hat spun around
and whirled out the door whence he came.
But, thar left behind, his shillelagh they'd find,
now it's hung on the wall by the bar,
so whenever a day that the story's relayed
folks come from near and afar.
The shillelagh for sure is now used for lore
and held as the story is told
and all that are thar, then whisper a prayer
of thanks for the leprechaun's gold.
