Premium Member People of Sacred Corn

People of sacred Cornucopias
found ourselves politically alone
competing to survive
in Earth's choking climates
of totally domesticated and over-run despair,
then neglect,
then more actively terrorizing abuses.

Corn People,
PolyCultural Planners,
greeting Yang-behaving bean bodies
growing up and into our digestive tracks
and tracts,
our speaking parts,
to sing like tassels
our Divine Corn and humane Yang-beanish ego-rising lines
of harmony
co-arising nondual Earth anthems
of graceful GreatSpirit incarnation.

Domesticating corn people
finally also meet Yin's squashed voices
flowing bilaterally out
well-grounded cooperative incorporations
intending divine corn
and Yang-bean
and Yin-squash
mutually braiding
weaving up and out
trimesters of rich
and deep
nutritional development,
with winter dormancy in-between
summerish diastasis.

Corn and Bean and Squash diversity
during August pre-birth deliveries
reduce competitive domesticating relationships
to favor cooperative democratizing trinities,
of Spirit and Body and Bilateral Flowing UnSquashed Minds.

These corny holonic domesticating resources
enjoy differentiated cultural climates,
Diverse partners prevailing
through multicultural nutritional landscapes
up and out,
down-rooting and inward feeding feeling
as outward bleeding
into each Other's Common-Space
and side-by-side solidarity reforesting times.

People of the Corn
and beans and squash,
co-domesticating temporal WinWin differentiations,
preoccupying Earth's global climate
in different times of day and night,
months and years,
transgenerational eras and stages
of mutual democratization
into trust
bean-sprouting
within interdependent pumpkin patches.

People of the Corn
invite diverse beanish vertical needs
and polypathic squashy tendril outputs
in different revolving stages
of our mutual domestication,
integrity empowered
through deep nutritional gardens
and forests of time,
like climates of Earth,
organically democratizing solidarity.

People of sacred wild Cornucopias
found ourselves politically atoned
through competing to survive
in Earth's stroking strumming climates
of globally democratizing,
healthy wealth,
Original PolyCultural Intention.

Premium Member There's No One But You

There's no one but you

I see that you...
have a new life... and that,
you don't need me... and I...
just don't know why.

I know that you've...
built a ...whole new world,
and that...
that's where you live now...
no longer ...my girl.

How did this change,
ever ...come about?
that your...
independence...
is what... matters now.

I don't know what to say,
except that...
I'm dumbfounded...
I never saw this coming...
thought our love, was well grounded.

Bridge 1
I thought that if you saw me...
that you would change your mind...
we keep dancing on our own...
and the drum beats out of time.

Chorus
I still care, and I know that...
there's...no one but you...
I searched the whole world over...
and I...I found you
I'm so lonely, without your love
and all I keep thinking about...
are the promises we said
they keep running inside my head...
yeah, all the words we said,
they keep running inside my head.

I think back to the day...
when you promised to be mine...
to love and to care for me...
until the end of time.

I swore the same thing,
before God and man...
and now... I sit here alone,
please, help me understand.

Chorus
I still care, and I know that...
there's...no one but you...
I searched the whole world over...
and I...I found you
I'm so lonely, without your love
and all I keep thinking about...
all the promises we said,
they keep running... inside my head...
yeah, all the words we said,
they, keep running inside my head.

bridge 2
When our love ends, I will only pretend...
that I don't need you, and that we are through
So life will go on, but I know from now on...
that.......I'm... lost... without you....

Chorus
I still care, and I know that...
there's...no one but you...
I searched the whole world over...
and I...I found you
I'm so lonely, without your love
and all I keep thinking about...
all the promises we said,
they keep running... inside my head...
yeah, all the words we said,
they, keep running inside my head.

I still care, and I know that ...
there's...no one but you...
I still care, and I know that...
there's...no one but you...

Iamb Beak Peck Tammy Eater

Every friggin day
mother hen runs amuck,
while all chicken's
beady eyes appear awestruck
drawing particular
agitation, irritation, perturbation...

of Punxsutawney (Doctor) Phil
(well grounded) woodchuck,
the latter glaring at henpecked
yours truly rifled
tail feathered rooster,
whether communicating

nonverbal sympathy
towards me, a garden variety
Gallus gallus domesticus dumbstruck,
who doth make feeble attempt
albeit without explaining
rhyme or reason

poetic, plaintive, pathetic... cluck,
regarding doomed pyrrhic victory
against incessant cackling
more fowl and upset
than goosed duck,
she that casus belli hideous source

feels cooped up bred to lay eggs
absent any pleasure to fµç*
out her tail feathers fin
hushed yoked for sole purpose
mutter under beak, what the "huck"
subsequently, she takes frustration

buzzfeeding me 'bout chained to
chicken feed to earn
breeder (yours truly) favorable luck
yielding "FAKE" farmer
Matthew Scott Harris megabuck
regarding top quality accolades

raves subsequently generate
he invariably feels moonstruck
matter of fact expanded business
necessitating workers to drive
state of the art rigorous motortruck
the missus decries mistreatment

scratching thru mire and muck
to fill little beasts in belly,
eventually retired, repurposed
relieved invariably chef
buoy or gull hardy sole destiny,
whereby one or another

hired hand will gingerly pluck
every spruced, primped,
groomed... feather
in short shrift priming
precious helpless creature,
(who bemoans lack

of state bird status)
into slaughterhouse five
butchered, filleted (maybe), quartered...
routed to household kitchen
gamely served at potluck
toothpicks applied to teeth

loosening gristle unstuck
after appetites satiated
belt unbuckled years ago
purchased before Sears Roebuck
shuttered stores, plus
bought linens and things
comfortable pillow perfect to tuck

under drowsy sudden sleepy head
unaware coop d'etat mutiny hatched,
whereby sly fox weasels him/
herself to guard henhouse
finding petrified slack beaked
AC/DC powered chicken coop,
where prating poultry thunderstruck.

Premium Member War Is Hell

WAR IS HELL

America hasn't fought a war since World War Two
Though we’ve been in skirmishes, more than a few
We've been in Iraq and we've been in Iran
And we're still losing soldiers in Afghanistan

What will it take before our leaders to see
These skirmishes are an exercise in futility
To win a war, our soldiers must fight
Engaging the enemy and doing what's right

When the enemy's subdued and the threat is gone
Get the hell out, bring our soldiers home
It's senseless for us to keep losing men
Because of the fear that we might offend

To know that terrorist tainted American soil
Then thumbed their noses makes my blood boil
Iraq and Iran should be reduced to mire
And Afghanistan should be destroyed by fire

Why is this happening, you may ask
Why is America being put to task
The answer is simple -- America has trod
On a path of destruction without seeking God

The principles on which our nation was founded
Acknowledged God and was very well grounded
But the Red, White, and Blue are beginning to fade
And we've strayed from our Creator I'm afraid

Unless we change this dire situation
America will soon become a second class nation
Our enemy will hold the upper hand
And what freedom we now have will no longer stand

I say let's fight and fight to win
Become an entity to be feared again
Otherwise, we'll find ourselves divided
Simply because our leaders decided

Rather than fight so as not to offend
They would try to make our enemy our friend
That of course is terribly naive
It'll only cause American families to grieve

Move in stealthily, strike with force
The element of surprise is the greatest source
It's okay to take prisoners whenever you can
But not at the expense of your fellow man

War is hell as someone said
Annihilate your enemy and bring home your dead
Bring home the wounded and those who are sound
Lay the dead to rest in hallowed ground

When this is done then peace will come
Our troops fought bravely though we lost some
And once again we all can say
God has certainly Blessed the USA

Watch Guard

She is forever youthful, well grounded and strong. Her posture is beyond perfection. Her heart heals faster than mine. She has a deterministic mind that doesn't hesitate to go after what it wants. If I stood beside her you'd think we were twins, but that is not quite the case. She is my watch guard that I cannot see, but only imagine in my head. "Pull through", says the little voice in my thoughts. "Pull through, just a little bit further", the faint voice calls.

Most of us cannot afford to skip a second, a window of opportunity. Waiting passively for fate to send a sign, to watch a bright light bulb flicker on and off, not the choice pro active planners take. Time moves faster than most of would like. Translucent time is what we have on our hands, my dear friends. At such high speeds, we rarely see it, -but hang on in our minds. My watch guard doesn't control time, but she can see it more clearly than me.

In twenty two years, I have learned that anything worth achieving requires a little sweat and tears. One or two years older, does not necessarily mean we are wiser than we were in our past. I have learned from my mistakes while at the same time, I have concluded that the wise are the confident ones. The confident ones know where they stand. They list off their likes and dislikes as quickly as one tells the time of day. This is not to say that the wise don't take risks, for they most certainly do, but with precision. My watch guard carefully pulls the hidden confidence out of me.

In twenty two years, I have learned stressing solves no mystery. Mysteries are for detectives, whom we are not. We are the achievers, tall and proud. This is not to say the achievers have it easy,- not in the least bit. If sweat and tears is what it takes, then we will sweat and cry. We will also laugh and love along the way, of course. My watch guard shows me the clearest path to take. "Pull through, strong this time" says the little voice in my head. "When you need a little push, call on me", my watch guard reminds me.

Premium Member Word Power

There were words spoken by JESUS that ring loud within me.
They were words never before spoken or heard from another.
He said, "All POWER in heaven and on earth is given to me".
He later said to some of his followers, "You shall receive power".
He was gifted with power and later shared that gift of power with others.

It is said that BEAUTY lies in the eyes of the beholder. The first impression from such a line is that there are those who see beauty differently, or even not at all. And there are those with no sight at all whose touch and sense of beauty is priceless. It is also said that beauty is only skin deep. My immediate response is to the contrary, because beauty does not fit in a box, and there's neither pits nor ocean depth to contain it.

I heard it said that fools rush in where ANGELS fear to tread. I think not that angels have fears; and I think not that there are limits to where they might tread. Moreover, me thinks that mortals such as us are best preserved by the wisdom that holds us in check by way of gravitational restraints in the atmosphere, and navigational water routes, keeping us well grounded.

From an early age, I developed an interest in NEWS via news papers, radio, and television. I tell you with a bit of a sigh, 'news' is not what news use to be. Once upon a time, it was the news type that essentially enveloped one with "information" and less propagation, less commentary, and less opinions. I was fortunate to learn early on how to listen well and develop my own opinions; and if there was to be a 'spin zone', I owned my zone.

Respect 1

Respect :
Respect is something earned
Not something Given.
In other means
Respect is for those who Desrve it,
Not for those who Demand it.
Respect is a lesson that everyone should learn.
Respect must be given Before an Expected return.
Respect is something that’s given for free.
Respect is about us and never about me.
Respect is the basis on which the relationships are founded.
Respect is the anchor that keeps a person well grounded.
Respect builds the character and defines who we are.
Respect sets the standard and raises the bar
Respect is magnanimous and helps to fulfill.
Respect is the partner that sits with good will.
Respect is like honey so sweet it’s perceived.
Respect a taste to savor for when it’s received.
Respect yourself enough to know you deserve the very best
There is no proper life without these four words ,
Love,Honesty,Truth & Respect.
Without Respect,Love is lost.
Without caring,Love is Boring.
Without Honesty,Love is Un happy,
Without Trust,Love is Unstable.
Respect generally come from inner soul,
If a person is angry man,no one wants to give respect to him,
But if a person is soft spoken, well cultured, and having grip our his learnings ,thoughts And professional skills.
He will get proper respect by his Elders as well as his youngers.
Therefore Always
Show Respect and kindness to every people
Even those who are rude to you,
Not because they are nice
But because you are nice.
One of the most sincere forms of respect
Is actually listening to what another has to say.
Respect people who find time for you in their busy schedule,
But love people who never look at their schedule when you need them.

Premium Member Inches Apart and An Honest Heart

They stood inches apart
Both having a racing heart
Gazing into the eyes
With absolutely no reason for lies

They met weeks ago
Very busy and on the go
A date with a drink
In front of a romantic slippery frozen ice rink

Now they were inches apart
With a beating heart
Mature tasks
Challenged them to wear symbolic masks

Putting aside this reality façade
For a moment worthy of a cry
Choosing a setting filled with floral arrangements
The two enjoyed the lunchtime flowerlike engagement

Having no words
Listening to the chirping from the birds
‘I do’ she said
“I guess now we can wed”
Was the remark he did say
Knowing soon there be a wedding day

Bonded together
Realizing life’s weather was getting better
He put a ring on her finger
While in the background an audio played words breathed by a singer
Nervously she shook
While he was on his knees she proudly stood

Inches apart
Remembering the honest that beat in the heart
She returned to the collegiate academic look
Freeing him to return to the business suit to manipulate the investment books

But when the moon light glowed
Honesty returned to the young girl’s beau
Who she met during an innocent supportive act
That changed his pinstripe tact

It was a lucky chance
Choreographed as a lifelong dance
When she bumped into the well-grounded gold
Making her emotional guard fold

Inches apart
A church audience listened to the romance in the beating heart
Watching them commit to this start
He in black she in white
A decision based on true love that was right

Premium Member My Deepest Concerns

Having discussed it with many elementary educators
Critical Race Theory is NOT being taught in our schools
C.R.T. is buzzword used by right-wing radical agitators
Who are preaching Christian nationalism as its goal.

No elementary school child could understand the C.R.T.
Its tenets are debated at the highest levels of psychology
[Those tossing around the term cannot explain it to me!]
And I’ve training in graduate level theology and sociology.

We need to be careful the terminology we toss around,
For we are seeing incredible distortions in our foundations,
Many of our principled institutions are running aground
Because of crazy conspiracy theories and wild speculations.

We have political leaders who are spouting outrageous lies
Who are actually attempting to overthrow our government,
Forgetting our forefathers who paid the supreme sacrifice
And, not dealing with pressing problems, like our environment.

Essentially, we must prepare the next generation well
For we are leaving them with incredibly difficult problems--
They need truth, they need proper tools, if they are to dwell
On this planet—not impractical and meaningless theorems.

So, instead of a lot of malarkey about Critical Race Theory
And undermining the principles upon which we were founded
Instead of playing on commonfolks’ emotions, getting all teary,
We need to make sure the next generation is well-grounded.

Premium Member Let Light Shine Out of Darkness -2 Corinthians 4: 6

God has sent out His divine light
penetrating through darkness sublime
so to illuminate so it deeply shines
to reveal scripture in its highest prime

This light is not only external
for it reaches deep into hearts
giving light to know God's glory
seeing Jesus Christ in no small part

But some think they know God
their actions showed Him no honour
for their minds were solely futile
having foolish hearts intent on style

God's gospel is available upon all
the scholar and the unlearned alike
His call reaches their godly presence
enabling them to peddle one spiritual bike

Every person has God's awareness
so innate to touch the deepest heart
the gospel's saving belief touches the mind
to enlighten it of God's glory in no small part

(For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 4: 6 (ESV)

" A saving belief of the gospel arises from the mind's being enlightened to behold the divine glory of the things it exhibits.
The simplest and least educated person, as well as scholars, come to a well-grounded faith when (2 Cor. 4: 6) touches that innate awareness of God that every person has(Rom. 1: 21).")
