Premium Member Remembering Them

It's cold and damp outside tonight.
A cold rain drizzles down;
And now it's just the four of us,
Who walk the streets of town.

I miss the others very much,
Especially when we walk;
Their memory so vivid,
As we commune and talk.

I still can see their faces,
Still see the standing there,
Waiting oh so patiently,
To take the evening air.

Tiara was so quiet,
So gentle, sweet and good;
Obedient to the very end,
As by my side she stood.

Tasha was my princess,
A lady through and through.
A delicate aristocrat,
She was my baby too.

Petey Dog was handsome.
So merry, full of love,
And all he asked was, "Love me back".
He'll always be beloved.

Major was our protector.
A trusted, stalwart friend.
Patient, trusting, loving,
Loyal to the end.

I will always miss them,
For they were family.
Their love and loyalty to me,
Is an anomaly.

For God gave us the animals,
To teach us loyalty,
For seems to me most folks are born,
Without this faculty.

The heart of human beings,
Is selfish, cruel, unkind,
Seldom showing mercy,
As though we were born blind.

Animals are loyal,
Self-sacrificing too,
In humans that much dignity,
Is found but in a few;

So when I look to find a friend,
He'll likely have a tail;
For when I need a friend the most,
I know he will not fail.

Premium Member The Best of Friends

All my life I longed for you.
You filled my thoughts and dreams.
You'd stand majestic, head held high,
My mind's eye saw the gleam,

Of vibrant health, unbounded strength,
That shone from a glistening coat,
The look of eagles in your eye,
As you moved you seemed to float,

Like the billowing clouds that float across,
The azure sky above.
When I'm with you I too can fly,
I soar on wings of love.

We glide across the meadow,
Beneath the sun lit sky,
We are the best of fellows,
My dog, my horse and I.

I believe God had many reasons for giving us the animals and if we try we can figure out what those reasons are.
For one thing, I believe the first and foremost reason was to TEACH US.
Have you ever noticed they have remained just as He created them?
They never deviated from the original plan.
We, However, have done our level best to IMPROVE on PERFECTION; and we have poisoned the environment and nearly destroyed the entire planet in the attempt.
What is more loyal than a dog?
Animals have shown more self sacrificing loyalty and courage in the face of danger than we ever dreamed of. They love completely and will willingly sacrifice themselves for our good. How many of us will do that for them? In fact we laugh at those who will.
We KEEP them as long as it is convenient and then cast them aside without a thought for their love or well being or how much heart break they suffer for our uncaring treatment of them. We don't try to understand them at all; but we expect them to understand us. If we are so much smarter than them, how come we have never learned any of this from them? Could it be that we are so selfish and concerned for our own comfort that nothing else matters much to us?
The love we receive from our animals is completely unconditional.
The love they receive from us HAS IT'S LIMITS.
We should give that some serious thought.

Premium Member I Know Now How Love Learns -

I deserve to know the blueprints of my eyes...
You deserve to know why the rose dies...
I want to know God's compromise...
You shall know how Love writhes...

Your eyes were designed to see death...
I see the world, I see life, I taste breath...
You see suffering, you taste soul falleth...
I witness love wonderful, I feel God speaketh...
You mistaketh moments, for Eternity's birth,
you confuseth care, for justice calleth...
Do my eyes lieth, teach the Devil's spelleth...
Your eyes dreams distorteth,
they corrupteth what your heart seeketh...
Why must the rose dieth...
So to live truth pureth...
What truth does the rose liveth...
All that cometh in the Shadow, expresseth in the Shadow, of the Shadow passeth...

God's compromise your eyes spilleth,
revealeth risk righteous...
God gambled with the grave, to spawn spirit, to sow soul rebellious...
God fell for Freedom, shattered Itself for the stars, for the sake of raw consciousness...
What does God searcheth for, does God great pain possess...?
God seeketh heat in ice, pursueth pain in living purpose...
Is God the Architect of Good and Evil consequence...?
God is wise and weeping wilderness,
the lust of creative intelligence...
God compromised His eternal innocence...?
God became a diamonded metamorphosis,
panoramic pulse in prowling permanence...

Does Love not make life real...
Death makes life real, as love makes you feel,
so too, death be your soul's appeal
for self sacrificing survival,
to endure the relentless ritual of mind vital...
Is Love a prisoner of prophecy unlawful...
Love is captive of a curse called carnal,
you see, Love is a procreative energy primal,
flesh fanging nerves of the physical,
exhilaration of ego inflamed emotional,
atomic sparks splicing matrix mental...
My heart is designed to see Life total,
I am a fire fed by faith phenomenal...

Take me, to where Love learns no more
of suffering heartbeats sore,
to where the sky wants no more of thunder galore...
I cannot take you to where God need not explore...

Valentine

Valentine's Day isn't about you, men!
It's about spoiling* your self - women!
Nah! Can’t wait for being pampered!
Nah! Ain’t altruistic and self-sacrificing!
Nah! I don’t depend, I am demanding!
Yeah! Expectations are graduating!
And the love is exploding!
I am awesome and rocking!
I love glamour, I am always shimmering!
It’s just Tiffany’s, when I am shopping!
See my neck is flossing!
And my skin is gleaming!
Yeah, I love celebrating!
Valentine’s is exciting!
Let the rules, get breaking!
My eyes are shinning!
And the smile is beaming!
My look is ravishing!
My style is dazzling!
I love myself; I am dating!
You live only once, come on stop cribbing!
My gloss is now popping!
All my friends, let’s be rip-roaring!

Premium Member Sentimentality

You sparked a solemn sentimentality in me.
You showed me I can find passion while free.
You stood by me after I revealed I'm not always pretty.
You showed me sympathy when I was unworthy.

You set me afire with a sincere desire.
Your persistent kindness makes me want to aspire
To do my best to try to be better
Towards you and your heart in every letter.

You had set me free from a desperate longing
By telling me I shouldn't be so self-sacrificing.
And yet, I will forever continue hoping
Someday I can be of your belonging.

You made me feel something from the beginning.
You made me feel lost in the sudden ending.
But I am finding myself forgiving,
Because it is simply you I will always be loving.

Sacrifice

Real love takes real sacrifice
What you have has to suffice
When you put your one first
You see them at their best and their worst
Above anyone and all else
Even if your own heart and desires melt
When you realise your sole purpose
Is to be of help and service
With the one you want to spend everyday with
In life and laid next to in death
I would take a bullet for them
Realising they are your diamond gem
Everything you have only one thing in pursuit
Never seconding guessing or dispute
Self sacrificing your own mental health
Time is more important than wealth
Physical health on the back burner
Always available to listen to her
There is only one chance at living
Being with one person is winning
Trusting and caring for your soulmate
It takes two to be great

He Died Today

He died today

He died today, for both you and me
keeping intact his righteous human dignity
Died like a criminal he was hated and despised
With divine love for you, do you even realize?

He died today, not because he did something wrong
but to save you and me, now to him we belong
When someone dies for you, how do you feel?
Do you even understand it, to you is it real?

He died today, because he chose to do God's will
Without his sacrifice, we'd all be slaves to sin still
Because of his altruistic, self-sacrificing love
We can be forgiven, by our heavenly Father above

He died today, after sunset, it was the Passover of Nisan 14
after sundown tonight, we remember the events in between
He had his last supper in company with his faithful friends
then his enemy betrayed him, his life would soon end

He died today, bruised and battered but he was innocent
he was a perfect man, a ransom for us, that was heaven sent
We cannot forget the great love that to us was shown
We now live in eternal gratitude, our very life we disown.

I recall
from Catholic seminal
seminary daze,

Frocked monastic gaze
vowed nerve-systemic chastity,
self-sacrificing poverty,
political obedience
to a Great StraightMale Master
of God's paradise reclusive House
filled with sacred humane
Men's Room Only vocations.

Yet I experienced these three
Green Commons commitments
in reverse Taoistic
NonZeroistic chronology
of sacramental EarthCentric interest:

Without fully embodying
sensory-neural obedience,
trust
good faith
good humor
LeftBrain healthy secular Truth
as also
RightBrain safe sacred Beauty,

Then poverty of spirit
is a bitter
exploitive pill to
MonoCapitalistically swallow
before too many competitive weeks
and months pass anxiously by

Without neuro-sensory chastity
invoking my healthy regenerative compassion
only when informed
by universal climax wealth experience
of sacred
nature-spirited poverty
of co-invested
co-infesting
cooperatively creolizing Light
and Power;

Theologically ecological poverty
of StraightWhiteMale divinely-endowed
anthrosupremacism
could best be re-invited
into WinWin cooperative co-investment
when transparently vulnerable
through healthy matriarchal prime Attachment,

Further reinforced
by post-pubescent
sensory-neural sacred climax
worship
and praise,
silent awe
and verbalized
and verbalizing
and reverberating wonder,

Obedience to Taoistically balanced
ego-patrilinear LeftBrain verbalized
through nonviolently, multiculturally felt
wants,
healthy co-invested thrusts,
trusts,
truths

As also EcoWomanist
RightBrain sacred felt silence,
integral reception

Green cooperative unitarian communion

Deep listening for empowering
sacred information
inhalation

Also enlightening
dusty secularized disobedience,
pathological need for win/lose subservience,
posturing as win/win obedient
Earth Healers,

Regenerative repairers
of active nonzeroistic healthy ego-hope
from EcoMotherly masters
vowing past
and present
and future
green/blue EarthWealth
revolving compassion.

Premium Member You're My Superhero

You're my superhero and you don't even know why
Its because you're there for every pain hurt and cry
You're there for those who matter excluding yourself
Superheros like you cant be found anywhere else
Who gave you those powers to handle everything
Its obvious there's someone stronger a much higher being
The powers he has given you seem to use them well
Each time you save and rescue you never seem to fail
You're close to others for a moment then disappear from view
You're so busy saving others no one can save you
There isn't too many that you can reveal your identity to
Because they would laugh, misunderstand or start judging you
It must be very hard to survive a heroes life
Not many in the world are willing to do what's right
You can't have down time, a personal life or any friends
The minute you enjoy yourself is the minute that it ends
You must always remain alert to the times that you're needed
If anyone could have a double life its you who really leads it
That's what makes you odd and different from the rest
You're loyal and self sacrificing and you do your best
There is no comic book with a superhero like you
One who puts their life aside just to do what you do.

April 24 was her birthday
How I recall words she'd say

Telling me she wants a new purse
Or asking if I’m going to church

A tender heart with spirit of God
Watching her in favorite chair nodd

Salt and pepper fresh fish delish she’d fry
Fresh peas and biscuits tea summertime

Imprinted on my mind how she was meek
Kind wise witty homely in her ways peace

Never understood why she loved snuff
I guess addicted to that dirt looking stuff

She left words of wisdom like white pearls
Never again will there be in this crazy world

A grandmother as loving as self sacrificing
Bernice is her name she was truly a queen

Not in a boisterous blunt in your face way
But in imperfect beauty with duty who prays

Happy heavenly birthday Granny!
