Premium Member The Inferno of Love

Your love scorches everything that it sees
My heart's cookin' at one thousand degrees
We lie in bed all night and smoke with desire
Your kisses hotter than a four alarm fire

Chorus:
I'm burning in the inferno of love
Your hugs and kisses fit me like a glove
I'm burning in the inferno of love
My ashes soaring up to Heaven above

Before the sun's up I wake with a spark
I feel your fingers touch me in the dark
Your hot ruby lips are burning my skin
I count the seconds till they do it again

Chorus:

I fear your passion is taking its toll
A wildfire's raging out of control
Spreading like the plague crippling me
Taking hold until too blind to see

Chorus:

Now I'm a prisoner in your cage
My heart just melts while your fires rage
No doctor could ever find a cure
I'll die in Hell this I know for sure

Chorus:

Premium Member Nature: My Great Love

Many things in life we do like
but only a few we say I love
one of mine is undoubtedly nature
nature and me just fits like a glove

It's such an epic sight to view
having a walk among nature's green
taking in the colours among the trees
so picturesque filling one's theme

When you walk along the water's edge
looking across right to the other side
the sun shines down making a water mirror
so still and bright forever to glide

Walking through woodland in the spring
even in autumn, it's lovely and fair
a little frost crunches under your feet
these mornings thrill you lair by lair

Would love to live in nature all year long
have birds, squirrels and ducks at my side
watching the greenery from where I am
we can but dream wish there to abide

Premium Member After The Day Is Through

After the day is through,
And I come back home to you…

Light seeps into my thoughts,
Murmuring, all tied up in knots…

Darkness, destined to descend,
Even night remembers you’re my friend…

Calming, seas of whimsical trees,
Blowing gently with the softest breeze…

One kiss, remembered by the soul,
Who bleeds quietly, a love I can’t control…

When we’re united by the fires of love,
Feels like our hearts fit like a glove…

Never mind that we’re parted by the day,
We still connect, like hearts who pray…

In an echo, enchanted by your light,
Our love glistens on the silent night…

When we share our feelings, our dreams,
Hope is alive and goes to some extremes…

Blessed by this relationship, away I’m carried,
By this love that reminds me we’re married…

When we touch, there is assurance I’ve been blessed,
With this wonder that my heart and soul confessed…

Growing beneath the shadows of time that has passed,
I know I’ve found the light, the love, that will always last!

After the day is through,
And I come back home to you…

I find the love that I just knew –
Would bring forever to us two!

Loretta Part 2

We went away heaps of times, to busso, gerro, freo, york, bunbury and albany
I remember most the latter and how you wrecked my bike so horribly

I carried it up a hill, while you went to get the ute
But after awhile I decided to cycle the damned route

We found a little restaurant called HK's
Not sure it will be so cheap nowadays

We went to see the natural bridge and the gap
It was so scary it made us crap

We've been to bussleton quite a few times too
You learnt how to dive, and I was so proud of you

Every moment with you I cherish in my heart
I never thought we would ever part.

Our love was beautiful and so strong
Things went bad when you parents came along

When they vanished once again
You found your love hard to sustain

Babe, I love your smile and your laugh
You gave me a time and a half

I love the way you smell
makes me think we came from the same cell.

Stand by me when the days are dark
Soon we will be able to reignite that spark.

My plans for you were always sincere
I got lost somewhere tying to make it clear

Hey babe, you were my true love
You fitted my slipper like a glove

But time was always my enermy
It ran out and so did my tenacy

I worked real hard on my legal case and house
Preparing for our future like a mouse

I worked so hard to make it real for you
But on the journey you threw me your shoe

Oh babe, I wish I could turn back the clock
But the bloody thing just goes tick tock

I will never love again
memories of you will ensure it is never quite the same

I know no-one is really to blame
But I wish I could deal with the pain

You will find someone whom you like
I just hope you don't go for a dyke

oh my darling darling girl
why can't you give it one more whirl?

Premium Member Winnie: a Dog's Life

I was just laid off after twenty years;
Put out to pasture and facing my fears.
I didn't need another mouth to feed
But something about her stirred a need.

She was an old girl from a broken home;
Nowhere to sleep, nowhere to roam.
Her mom and dad had parted ways.
Was this the end of happy days?

She needed me; I needed her.
Life had changed the way things were.
We both grew in each other's love;
Two souls that fit just like a glove.

Her name was Winnie as in Pooh.
Although our years together were few,
She came along in the nick of time.
Together we conquered those hills to climb.

Two old girls starting anew.
I saved her but she saved me too.

The Written Word

Something about the written word
It stirs me up inside
The ignition to flame my imagination
An alternative to an easy ride

My love of language is fiercely intense
Words, my cup of tea
It can mean whatever it makes me feel
Perception is up to me

No stipulations to what I read or write
No one can pocket what I receive
There is no giant leaning over my shoulder
Telling me what to believe

What else can create beauty out of tragedy
While mending a cracked soul
It's affirmation that we are not strange or alone
Yet equally unique and whole

It may be an adventure that would never come to life
Leaving you with a dream
Perhaps it's one's pain described on paper
Your own tears creating a stream

What is more powerful than an inspirational quote
You read as you begin your day
Often times it's your very own story. Fits like a glove
How you felt, but couldn't say

It could be a limerick that causes a chuckle
When the world can't catch a smile
Maybe it's words derived from your own tongue
Therapeutic to remember once in a while

Whether you hold the pen or retrieve the written words
It belongs to only you
Whatever you receive or bring to the table
It's honest, real and true

Blessings

Each and every day is a blessing,
I feel gratitude to God above
as I wake and begin dressing
and finally life fits like a glove.

A cup of coffee to get me started
 feed the squirrels and birds
as the day begins imparted
 my mind fills unspoken words..

Still and silent lay the snow
 upon the yardage displayed
in the shadows the sun bestows
in the blessings of this day.

Greet the sky, the sun, the world
 welcome the day's warmth
as winter slowly reveals it's pearls
 eased along the wintry north.

Little peeks of greenery
 rise above the frozen eartrh
to hint of spring's oncoming scenery
 and the wonder of rebrth.

What a day it is
 returning warmth and sun
thankful for all God's gifts
 with each new day begun.

Premium Member A Father's Relationship

Father what a very special name,
but the name daddy is extra special.
The man who was wise said,
always tell the truth and never lie,
be honest with all mankind.
Always act and look like a lady.
Every Saturday I loved going skating.
I rented my skates,
but this week was going to be different.
He came out with a skate box in hand,
he had this all well planned out.
I opened the skate box up, a box filled with love,
My new skates fit like a glove.
Daddy the one who taught me how to ride a bike,
then how to drive a car.
The day my dad handed me the car keys,
he also handed me a coin.
He said,
put this in your shoe and never take it out.
If you need help,
you have this coin to call me at home.
Daddy was my helper with school work.
Guess you might say,
we both graduated that summer night.
On my wedding day you gave me away,
then we danced and laughed all night.
After all you taught me how to dance.
Then I walked away to a new home.
You will always be in my heart,
now gone to heaven but never forgotten.

Premium Member My True Love

The moment I met him it was true love,
I fell into his brown eyes and was lost;
and soon, we fit together like a glove,
into this journey of love sweetly tossed.

Knew, I had met my forever life mate,
and I accepted him with all his flaws;
my true love 'till I stand at Heaven's gate,
though his habits sometimes gave me to pause.

We accept all- there was no need to change,
yes, we had angry moments but could laugh;
for we loved to have a wordy exchange,
over time he became my other half.

I find him now, down a graveyard path paved;
for my true love is but a name engraved.

His Perfect One

Divine light of my being be at one with me
flame of love ignite your fire and bring forth your peace
Life force of celestial resource bring into fruition
the deepest desires of my heart
Winged ones of ancient wisdom walk with me
through the windows of my soul and help me to align my body
to that golden prairie of old, that reaps the finest wheat
O'er there there is a key that I hold dear for it is the key
that opens the doors to my heart
Divine light of my soul accept that offering of love that arrives
with the opening of the mind...
Oh Angels of glory who answer to the One above,
I know that day God made me He fitted me like a glove
I am His Perfect Charismatic Human, His beloved One.
