After the day is through,
And I come back home to you…
Light seeps into my thoughts,
Murmuring, all tied up in knots…
Darkness, destined to descend,
Even night remembers you’re my friend…
Calming, seas of whimsical trees,
Blowing gently with the softest breeze…
One kiss, remembered by the soul,
Who bleeds quietly, a love I can’t control…
When we’re united by the fires of love,
Feels like our hearts fit like a glove…
Never mind that we’re parted by the day,
We still connect, like hearts who pray…
In an echo, enchanted by your light,
Our love glistens on the silent night…
When we share our feelings, our dreams,
Hope is alive and goes to some extremes…
Blessed by this relationship, away I’m carried,
By this love that reminds me we’re married…
When we touch, there is assurance I’ve been blessed,
With this wonder that my heart and soul confessed…
Growing beneath the shadows of time that has passed,
I know I’ve found the light, the love, that will always last!
After the day is through,
And I come back home to you…
I find the love that I just knew –
Would bring forever to us two!
