I used to sleep with depression and kiss shame on the cheek
Trying to run from all the lies, but myself was chasing me
I was drowning from all that I cried but let me tell you what one of HIS tears did for me
But, first I must rewind to my past where my thoughts were slowly choking me
I even circled a couple of dates with no lady R.I.P.
Fast forward in one months time I'm totally free, compared to about 28 years of new age slavery
I was chained to regret, opinions, debt, social media, threats, fear, pride, and of course selfishness
Alcohol got me too, I was thirsty but never quenched
In stress I was drenched
Then my speech that was meant for life became a toxic poison, so please, please, please, excuse my french
And I'm spite of getting drunk off my own self indulgence
HE still chose me as well as all of you ladies and gents
HE took my life and erased it clean, giving me a new genesis, in His love I am redeemed
I deserve absolutely nothing but in Him I have more than everything
So I preach the sermon of my testimony to all who are listening
I no longer live the life I used to breathe
I was speeding towards death, hanging myself where He died for me, and took His last earthly breath
So, He sent me a reminder text
I am next
To still waters, a firm Oak Tree
And one by one He removed the nails of persecution from my being
Therefore I sing a praise of Hallelujah and hear the voices of angels echoing
Oh what a joy it is too walk with Jesus again, my strength is planted in His roots like osmosis
He lit candles around the past of my diagnosis
So I could forever smell the scent of victory
One thing about my God, He never stops working
Over time it's something we all see, so I encourage you to sell Him first and often
I now remain present in His presence, humbling myself and emptying out all of the world I still hold
Multiplied two fold I repent
With freedom I am chained to the love of His new covenant
No matter the cross before me I remain faithfully obedient
Knowing one day all will proclaim HIM as Lord in Jesus Name
So, if you ask me what God has done in my life, these are the words I will sing
As He continues to deliver you and me
p.s. and I'ma shout it from the roof tops, better yet a mountain just in case you were wondering...
SILENCE SURROUNDED ME CARRYING ONLY
DATA FROM SPECIAL FORCES I'D RELEASED
MY SOUL BEFORE THEE ENTRY MY THOUGHTS
COVERED IN SURVIVAL SKILL
BECAUSE OF YOUR NAME
AN YET THERE WAS NO WAY OF SURVIVING
THEE ULTIMATE ASSASINATION THREAT
THAT BESTOWED ME UPON THIS DAY
CAREFULLY PLANNED I MUST SAY
BECAUSE OF YOUR NAME
ASSAULT RIFLES LEANING AGAINST
THE COMPLEX WALLS FRIENDS AND FOE
GATHERED FROM BERLIN TO BERUIT
A SINGLE SHOT MOUNTED
BECAUSE OF YOUR NAME
OVER MY TEMPORAL LOBE BACK UP
CLEAVERLY PLANTED ABOVE MY FRONTAL LOBE
AN ANGEL GABRIELLE WEARING A PASTEL ROBE
THE JEST OF DEATH IS WHAT I PROPOSED
BECAUSE OF YOUR NAME
ON THIS FINE DAY THE SUN BEAMED BRIGHTLY
OF LEFT OVER AUTUMN HINTS OF INDIAN SUMMER
GREENWICH BESEECHED MY WITHERED SOUL
CARDINIAL NUNNS RABI'S INSISTED WHITE CLOTH
BECAUSE OF YOUR NAME
TAMPERED WITHIN AN INFALLIBLE HUSH
WHEN ALL I EMPLOYED WAS A TANGLIBLE SCREAM
I SO DESPERATELY COVENANT THOUGH OUT DI VATICAN
A KNIGHTS OWN SPHERE OVER LOOKING MORTALITY
BECAUSE OF YOUR NAME
THE HAMPTONS CAMEBRIDGE IN VIEW A SIGHING COO
WE'D MASTERED TRUTH AND FAILED AT LAUGHTER
CREATING A MELANCHOLY SOLACE WHY CENTERED
BENEATH A PAIR OF BLOOD SOAKED BAILEY'S
BECAUSE OF YOUR NAME
EMPTY AN YET OVER FLOWING WITH BITTER FRET
CONFUSION WRATH A SORTED BIAS TO THE NOTION
THAT FROM NOW ON EVERY SINGLE DAY WOULD BE
NOVEMBER TWENTY SECOND NINETEEN SIXTY THREE
BECAUSE OF YOUR NAME
THE DAY SHAMROCKS WELPT OVER ST PATRICKS CATHEDRAL
THAT FINE DAY CAMELOT SLEPT IN NEVER READING
THE MORNING PAPER LEFT FOREVER DANGLING UPON
AN UNDIVIDED GRASSY KNOLL HENCE THE SAME
SIMPLY DONE BECAUSE OF YOUR NAME
March 10 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Joshua 1-4

PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO GIVES US REST

Gracious strength in His goading waking-up
Good success along His guiding wisdom
Generous resources through His girding ways
Glorious victory upon His granting worth

He is our God Who is:
Almighty in His sovereignty

Absolute in His standards
Awesome in His satisfaction
Affirmative in His Scriptures

Who is doing wonders in our lives as He:
Meets our needs with His compassion

Joshua 4:24 Praise be to the Creator
and Our Master Whose hand is mighty:

Challenging us toward His perfection
Comforting us around His peace. Amen!

Ice say... water we dew wing to planet Earth?
Tis appalling *****sapiens legacy,
the future survival of species can ill afford
hence we must not dodge and dart away,
but heed urgent call to arms decree fiat,
lest vast gamut of flora and fauna

driver's seat and steering fate
all species unfairly doomed
analogous to horse and buggy
only far worse, whereat naked ape

escorted to shreds
innocent plants and animals, we

arrogantly depraved, galling humans
violating, tormenting, ruining...

destroying carte blanche - absolute
zero guilt whittling, vaporizing,
uglifying, trampling, slashing, razing,
quashing, paving, oppressing,
eradicating, devaluing, burning...
once upon a time edenic oblate spheroid
now crowded house overpopulated

at expense of avast extinction

kickstarting lamentable machinations

mercilessly rained down pell mell

unspeakable, unpardonable, unforgivable...
despicable, horrible, ineradicable... demise
affecting every living organism.
—What Time Takes Before We Wake—
I deemed a life a province ruled by clock,
that every loss must cross some final door,
and what the dark withheld was yielded back as morn;
I trusted memory to enshrine my name,
whilst years, beneath the liturgy of body,
wrought their unheralded dominion into silence.
Yet age doth enter not with trumpet, but with silence;
it filches, grain by grain, the sovereignty of clock,
until some kingdom forfeited within the body
hath crossed, ere we perceive it, through an unseen door;
the face still answers to the summons of its name,
whilst gold, unknowing, crowns the counterfeit of morn.
There are departures indistinguishable from morn,
for naught in the bright air proclaims silence;
the heart yet keeps its covenant with its name,
the pulse performs its ancient office beneath the clock,
and yesterday seems safely sealed behind its door,
though something hath already altered in the body.
Then did I learn: the future is within the body,
not as tomorrow, but as the treachery of morn;
each year conducts some former self beyond a door,
and what we call forgetting is but deepening silence,
whilst time, like some invisible sexton, winds the clock,
until even loss grows strange beneath its own name.
Wherefore I feared not chiefly the extinction of a name,
but that time should revise its scripture in the body;
for time doth not merely travel onward with the clock—
it bears us hence, though every day resemble morn,
and leaves no footprint save its consecrated silence,
whilst we, poor witnesses, enquire what lies beyond the door.
Now September comes; I keep no vigil at the door.
Let former hours depart and take their borrowed name;
let what must dwindle dwindle into silence;
let time fulfil its austere workmanship upon the body.
For waking is not finding some imperishable morn,
but hearing, ere we knew it, what was ticking in the clock.
The door knows my name; silence inhabits the body;
the last morn comes unbidden—the clock has ceased.
And I, who feared the silence, find the door within the name.
Hand in hand I'd remember a sultry dance
that gather autumn leaves surrounding
the balance between here and now
while fashions sway in a temptress breeze
beyond the craving thoughts that mingles
throughout a mindless maze words become
tokens of grains of sand while laughter bounce
off cemetery walls awakening sorrow above
slab stone fencing catering to a calming purgatory
quieted by jaded hymns and silent whispers
being carefully covenant above the cities shorelines
as abandoned depris of poshed plageristic values
tinged with forgotten anger amidst the tainted hints
of torn angels wing blowing desperately about
heavens sphere why covered in weather and waste
moss and mace blueprints lay an awakening map of lots
and busted up burial plots as my heart dangles behind my soul
My Lord, I entrust myself to You…
Praising You for Your loving kindness
Saving me from hell, granting me eternal life’s greatness;
Keep me acknowledging Your graciousness.
I entrust to You my soul, my God…
Thanking You for Your sanctification daily
Cleansing me from my unrighteousness fully;
Keep me forsaking my sins with Your help totally.
My Saviour, to You do I entrust my faith…
Submitting to You my dedication
As You work for my restoration;
Keep me yielding to Your direction.
To You, my Father, do I entrust my heart…
Esteeming You as I am Thine
Striving never to depart from Your design;
Keep me obeying Your will, perfectly divine.
My Master, I entrust to You my commitment…
Pledging my fidelity to our covenant together
While You promise me Your care forever;
Keep me cleaving to You against doubts that bother.
*Deuteronomy 13:4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

Sear my heart, O rampant rage!
Simmer deep within!
Scour, devour this rusty cage!
What it takes to win...
As below, thus up above?
Not in this fair world.
Raptor hawk, guard well the dove?
Dead man's fingers curled...
Golden sparks to signal?
Attention that will get!
O prospectors, pill or pall?
Does it pay to fret?
No! Indeed not, my wild child!
Red run reconciled?
Crocodile in Nile beguiled?
Doubt and dismay dialed.

Murder in the streets!
Something lurking we can't see?
Have you seen the beats?

Bring thy crucifix.
Sullen heat out in the sticks?
Candles without wicks.
Fix it up, O soldiers!
We really must make do.
He who survives, first deters!
Ask the wallop hoo...
My Child,
I Need You to Realize, When the Storms of Life Threaten Security
Like A Predator Stalking it's Prey
Unpredictable Devastation May Occur
But Storms are not Here to Stay
When Peace is Plundered, Security Shattered In Disarray
Scattered and Tossed In The Tornadic Stormy Rapture
To Redirect, To Renew, To Wash Away Decay
I Offer You A Parasol of Faith for the Rainy Days
It May not Hold Up Against Strong Winds
But It Will Shelter Hope, Like Elder Folks Often Say;
"The Storm May Rage for A Season, but It Isn't Here to Stay".
Storms are Necessary Obstacles Strategically Placed in Our Way
Wetting Stones Planted Props For Life's Orchestrated Ballet
Restless Child, I Know You Long to Run Wild Outside, Tumble, Scream and Play
But Rain Is Wet For Both Meek And Wise, The Weather Forbids Today!
When The Tempest Rage, Thunder Bellows the Jagged Bolts of Light Display
Selfish, Careless, Ungrateful Vices of Your Inner Judas
Ourselves We Oft Sabotage, Ourselves We Oft Betray
Storms Amidst to Keep Us Alert, Fragility of Our Frames Becomes Primal Concern
Gather Around, Clutched Hands on Bended Knees To Pray
Falsehood, Crookedness, Cultivated Resentments Designed to Separate and Lead Innocent Souls Astray
Come Oh Come Stormy Winds, Drive the Filth Away!
Shambled Communities Crippled By Storm Devastated Debris,
Weather Beaten Mothers Drenched In Sullen Dismay
Overcoming Rubbles, Barely, With Tear Streaked Faces
Vulnerability on Nude Display,
Forlorn and Haggard, Denying Defeat, Just Another Leak To Keep Her Focus and Grounded on Her Feet, To Nurture and Comfort Innocence Who Will One Day Lead the Way

The Winds Will Calm

The Covenant Renewed, Gifting Hope and A Stormless Day!
