Reticent Voices Heard Only In Thoughts Sos

an obscurity of thoughts
fall like soft rain
through emotional pain
that linger again
in caliginous mind
that feed my pen

words stumble
atop sheets of white
unspoken, unheard
like soft whispers
of a gentle wind
although seen
remain uncomprehended
like laconic utterance
within bold frames
of darkness

i feel its chill
as i walk alone
unknown
through paths
once blocked
where people stand
beneath the effulgence
of moon's full glow
like stars
together
yet afar
untouched
by my words
or yours

i feel you
guide me as i slump
beneath the shadows
of their selfless rituals
through the force
of my pen
scribbled
through silence
in darkness
alone

Premium Member Christmas In July

July is the month of monsoon rains in our part of the land when there will be incessant downpour and flooding in coastal areas and low lying lands

In the vast expanse up so high,
In the caliginous July night sky,
A lone star trailed along from Heaven’s arch,
And through hindering clouds it did march.
Its lambent rays dancing in gleeful light,
Making everything luminously bright.
All starlets cowered in shame,
Hiding in corners, fearing blame.

It got stationed above a thatched manger,
Where baby Jesus lay swaddled in rags in rainy weather
Promising the gift of love and joy to mankind
Assuring everyone salvation and peace of mind.

The wind that blows is icy chill
Freezing cold is the water of the rill
Trees stand washed in rain
The sky, in greying clouds remain

Lights from nearby houses shine
Sending out a radiance divine
Christmas trees stand finely decorated
Cribs are colourfully illuminated
Stars and festoons can’t be hung in the open,
As in pouring rain, they may be broken.
July is not a month fit for the king to take birth,
Who has come to bless the world with cheery mirth

Yet, the whole land is vibrant with festivity.
The pouring rain hasn’t doused the gaiety.
Sunshine or rain, no matter the weather,
Friends and family are happy together.
Christmas wraps every heart in cheer,
Though it falls in July, the rainy month of the year!

Closer To Fine

Darkness engulfs my lone soul,
Like a big black gaping hole,
Falling deeper and deeper,
Like an unending creeper
Into the bottomless pit
Of dank depression, I quit,
"I am fine", I answer all,
But in dead despair, I crawl,
Lost in labyrinthine mind,
Elusive light, will I find?
Doubts nag, fears overcome me,
Tenebrous mirage, I see,
Spiralling down to a chasm,
Hope is a far off phantasm,
Caliginous courage lost,
This void feeling does exhaust,
These clouds will soon pass, they say,
Broken, on my knees, I pray,
"Lord, lift me up, give me peace,
Tantalizing turmoil cease"
Tears run down like a river,
Peace enfolds as I shiver,
Prayer answered, darkness gone,
I spy the light of the dawn,
Healed purely by grace divine,
Now, I am closer to fine.

“as both this form and boundless space
cravings of ego negated
awake, vibrant yet nonchalant
bliss drenched heart remains elated”

Feast and revel in ordo amoris,
the seether within stirs its godless bonds,
If not, what sings in harmony we’ll miss
thick or thin without sympathy desponds

We paint careful brush strokes without callus
slothful paint by number’s dupe self-spirals,
and not to fool one as the tenebrous,
whilst stratagem caliginous virals

We pen lucid images from the soul
without subterfuge there’s true belonging,
Clean and composed dignity merits gold,
gone—deep-seated universal longing

Emptiness stripped by turpentines amiss,
in fullness it streams harps euphoric gliss

Premium Member Eyes Like Yours Set All Apart

Set smoke, so sweet, so delicate
Something fuliginous, so intricate
Ocher bronze is all that I can see
You're beautiful, a dime to me
Spheres of the purist maple syrup
Sums them up; affectionately
Flowing through my heart, forever over my soul
Suspensions of golden medallions, never to control
Carob or chocolate cold never be
Subbed; for your lens looking at me
Caliginous, foreboding, but never forbidden
Like a chestnut mare; not broken, or ridden
My devotion is firmly planted, in your Earthly visions
You absolutely slay me with your warm decisions
Whimsical; they are made of fine mahogany
Eye's like yours set all apart; yet set me free

“instrumentalising mind, I rested thought
employing it only when needed
shifting to heart, I became self-taught
gentling touch, voice of conscience heeded” ~ Unseeking Seeker

When thoughts purge in restlessness,
we pause the frequency of the mind,
allowing the rhapsodies
        of the rosemary heart
to compose lyrics of
life in sync with sandalwood serenity…

I am a gossamer ribbon,
drifting across
caliginous cloudscapes,
like a delicate trace
of greying gloaming,
listening to the eerie requiems
ricocheting through the horizon.
But am I to follow the hypnotic lies,
perpetually prompting
my thoughts to ink
crimson confetti of confusion?
For the heart is the window
to the crown chakra,
awaiting the alignment of seven stars,
where the mind remains a mystery,
unreliable and capricious,
like the wind carrying
the sound of raging rain tonight.

O celestial maestro
of the cosmos and beyond,
let fears dissolve into ambient waves,
rippling with rejuvenating radiance,
reflecting seraphic light
from the crooning currents beneath~
tempestuous tides,
while I unchain the confined
chambers of my persona,
to unravel the alchemist within,
that knows not the
dying colors of dusk and dawn,
and reveals emerald auroras
in hibiscus harmony,
amidst the moonless
serenades of the sky~
in sync with my stained consciousness.

So let the dancing dreams
and the divine spirit
manifest through bleeding intuition,
as I open my arms to the sun
singing within his euphoric siesta,
there lakes of lotus ebb and flow in
ethereal themes,
transforming jinxed juniper lilies
into joyous jasmines,
and my voice shall mirror
pristine peonies,
scented with mystical musk,
where the fickleness of existence
is liquidated with lavender scriptures,
for my heart is the
empyrean haven for northern gems,
guiding the glass kayak of survival,
refusing darkness to mask
the kundalini mantras within
the alluring aura of life,
rehearsing self-fulfilling prophecies,
to illuminate silhouettes of
the galaxies in crystalline clarity.

The pink honeycomb provided a mysterious grace,
Warrior with a sloth-purse unclosed wound.

Sargassum, barefoot hollow woman,
As if such an object could meet my canonic sound.

Soak my feet in cool moist sand,
And juncture to the purple sunset over the sea-bound.

Slowpoke chucklehead hump and heave its swarm,
Create a hole in the caliginous maroon of the unfound.

Until she's done and back to the ocean,
I set and bout her unreal breath with the ground.

This sea a ford motor stimulates altitudinous,
It evokes in me how all designs breathe and drown.

Ocean waves are noisy
like the rain dexterously pours down.

Premium Member Along the Star Trail

Through the vast expanse of the sky
In the caliginous night
A lone bright star trailed along
Was it Sirius- the pole star
Navigating the sailors of the sea?
No, it started its journey
From the Heaven’s imperial threshold
And through hindering clouds
Made its way, shining bright
Its lambent rays dancing in glee
Making bright everything under the sky

All starlets of the firmament cowered in shame
And hid in remote corners dark

This celestial light piloted the three wise kings
Who from the East had traveled a long way
To see infant Jesus, with gifts in their hands

Crossing hills and dells, moors and mounts
With the star travelling over their heads
The magi reached Bethlehem
Wherein beheld the Star of stars, the son of God
In the simplest of dwelling, in a stable

In this season when hundreds of stars shine
Here, there and in every house and spire
A humble prayer rises from our hearts
‘Through Life’s weary highway as we pass
Let your light pilot us like a lighthouse
Ere we drown in a wind tossed sea’!

Premium Member Dark Dreamy Dream

I was down deep in a dark dreamy dream,
wandering a wispy, winding wilderness, where
sounds stabbed at an eerie secret silence;
with roars, rumbles and the rage of riotous birds,
in trees unseen and in branches of twisted tapestry.
When I heard with heartbreak mother's heavenly voice,
calling in the caliginous, obscure gloomy forest canopy;
it was my name and I searched with a narcotic need,
I ran wild, rampant and rapacious wailing WAIT.
Until, I was worn-out weary and woebegone;
I murmured and mumbled- mother, mother . . .
Then, sun blazed like a bath into my bedroom.
