Broken

A never ending tunnel
Hate spewed at me at a astonishing rate
Trying to hold it together
I grasp for something or someone to hault my fate
Silent sobbing, as i try to stand
All who said they loved and protect me, dont even lend a hand
Its loney at the bottom
I can only try to climb out with each passing day
Understanding that i only seem to be in the way
I cant do anything right only everything wrong
According to you i just dont belong
Broken as i am i could never be as cruel as you
Karma will hold you accountable for the hell you put me through

Sometimes

Growing up loney
unhappy
unloved
with too much anger on your chest,
with no one to wipe your tears,
no shaulder to cry on.

you know sometimes you feel
like the world has turn it back on you.
in some days you wish you were never born,
but because you are already born
you have to live and fight.

Fight for your life alone
fight for what belongs to you alone.
wait...

Do you have something that belong to you?
did somebody left anything for you?

NO! not even a cent,
your parents passed before they did nothing to the world,
The only thing they did best was alcohol and theift.
I guess that life sometimes

I Love You

TELL ME NOW
ARE YOU EMBARRASSSED TO BE IN
YOUR OWN SKIN?
TOO SCARED TO JUST BE YOU?
DO YOU COVER THE SKARS THAT YOU
LET DEFINE YOU?
OR DO YOU DETERMINE YOUR SELF WORTH
WITH THE NUMBER ON THE SCALE?
DO YOU EVER FELL SO LONEY
LIKE NO ONE WILL UNDERSTAND?
THE FELLING THAT HUNTS YOU DAILY
THAT MAKE A LIVING NIGHTMARE
ONE THANG I SHOUD TELL YOU!!!
IS THAT THINGS CAN GET BETTER
BAD THINGS CAN GET BETTER
AND YOU WILL BE OKAY

HEY GUYS IM BACK AND IWILL BE POSTINGE
MORE XOXO LOVE YOU ^^ CERRA

The Good Samaritan Comes Home

This good Samaritan tending to

this loney neglected grave,

making it look as clean as it

had been in ages.

A tear rolls down his face, knowing

that too much time had passed by,

he should have done this many years ago,

then getting ready to depart he

says Dad, I'm so sorry, please

forgive me, I beg you,

I should have come home sooner,

but was too proud, but now

I'm home to stay; I will make these trips

back here each week and tell you many

things I never got a chance to speak with you

about, I want you to know, that I love you very much.

Written 5-23-11

I had my dad in mind when i wrote this, I have only been to his grave
one time, that was the day of the funeral in 1970 and again in 1990.
This was also the second part of Just a Lonely rose, which started out
as one long poem, but shorted for two poems.

But in this poem I am telling my dad, what i never got a chance to tell
him while he was living.

Love Poem Or Not

You made me happy
You made me smile
It all ended
Forever awhile

The connection broke through
Even from far away
All hell broke loose
Throughout my loney days

Left with a broken heart
Went someplace else
Couldn't move on
Just listened to church bells

It all reminds me of reading a book
Couldn't move onto the next page
Didn't bother to take a look
Tried once more, made my heart race

I waited for the day to come
Where I'd see my prince charming again
Nervous at first
Excited if our eyes met

You'd brighten my day
Make the hell go away
To make make me happy again
"when's it going to begin?"

My feelings would come alive
When I'd look into your eyes
Feeling couldn't ever die

Once more in my life...

Cuts Just Arnt Enough

my feelings are in shreds
i cannot think of them now
as i feel so lonely
crying on this bed

my time is up
just leave me for dead
as i feel so lonely
sitting on this this bed

my life is so worthless
she threw me out like crap
as i feel so lonely
standing on this bed

my mind has ceased
i cannot think
as i feel so lonely
grabbing the razor on this bed

my body has given up
it has merclisly dropped
as i feel so lonely
watching the blood drip on this bed

my heart has stopped
i cant feel it beat
as i feel so lonely
dieing on this bed

My love is lost
never to be found again
as i felt so loney
laying dead.... on this bed...

Baby Since You Left

Baby since you left my heart hurts so,bedtime is so loney you just dont know!
Come back to me and set my soul free!
Dry my eyes and help me through these lonely nights!
Come back home, come back to me!
I sit here staring at your pitcure while in bed, praying to God your not dead!
Please just call so I know your fine,I worry all the time!

I would deny the birds to sing,
The blooming flowers, the coming spring.
If it be true that he is gone
Then tell me pray, why they live on.

Cruel February stole his breath.
The one we loved lies low in death
This man who loved his family
And to all men a friend would be.

Dear gracious Lord, I thank thee for
Those happy years that were before
The angels came to take my love
And carry him to Heaven above.

This world is such a loney place
And I've tomorrows yet to face.
Forgive me that his loss I moan.
Remind me he was ours on loan.

My Roman Ruins

My Roman Ruins

you are my rome,
all roads lead home to you

the ruins of my destruction
on the rounding patchy earthen grounds
strown with stiff marble columns
that have long ago cracked and crumbled
and into several broken pieces
by the hand of a violent man

signs of the holy catholic trinity
stand everywhere
yet there's no holy space
where I find the comfort that I need
to rest my weary head

bleached bones and skulls
with sullen hollow spaces
hide in deep tunnels under the ground
continue to haunt me in my sleep
as the towering roman aquaducts
remind me of the mighty powers
that fell from grace years ago

the via appian way spreads
far and wide to many places
destroying forces that
blocked their armies way
on it's broken bricked path
I trod through my sunny days
and my dark loney nights

yet no matter how hard I fight
to move my sandled feet far away from you
my warped brain keeps
directing it's seizing waves to
cherished memories of your
youthful tanned roman face

Loney, Lonely Day

My falling tears taste like the rain
Salty yet full of pain they fall
The days seem to grow so long
She no longer is in my day
Will one understand that i die inside a little each passing hour
Prolong the seconds will you not
Search in me, and you will find emptyness
I am to roam this place alone, for no matter what my hands touch it fruits not
Why do i always hurt those around me
Help, will you too read and leave
Am I to die alone, will you too look the other way
Swear you love me, and leave me?
I need you, please come back, and let's make this work
My tears fall dry, as i too die

The Church

The church aint some fancy building, made of bricks or morter.

No the church is me and you. flesh and blood. living, breathing stones.

People see us, they see jesus his only soon.

The one who gave himself to die on a cross,

for the lost. the loney and the hurting.

If you think your to bad, to come

and turn to God, i got news, he

knows all about you, every

detail.

So you aint to bad, come to him

and let him love you and set you

free.

He`s waiting for you, so just

come as you are. Amen.
