The Distance Within

I run the miles deep within,
a subdued race, an unspoken intent,
devoid of spectators-- no finish line,
just breath and heart, both entwined.

The shades lengthen along my path
but still a soft dawn finds its way turning into gray.

An awareness being in a world of confusion
Good/bad, happy/sad,
Distracted/focused, lost/found
Each of us wrapped in layers
Trying our best to express ourselves
Within the superficial 
Caught like a fly in a web
Sleep walking through thick air
Paddling upstream endlessly
A marriage of body and soul

Our Final Test

Our final test will be graded
When our breath has dissipated
Life itself is our final test
Final grade when we’re laid to rest

Taking the test may make you snore
If you don’t care about the score
For the next one you’ll study more
Then it hits I’m dead on the floor

There’re no more chances to improve

Each day seems to be an endless delight.
Rainbows of optimism enchant my sight.
Like monsoon drizzles, fullness flows and floods.
Worlds of hope are seen in the blooms and buds.

There's an unknown stir in my inmost soul.
A weird whirl curls and furls my hidden goal.
A sunbeam silently enters my shrine.

Dripping dripping, the sound resounding
Like echoes abounding
Stronger stronger, louder sounding 
My head is pounding

Throbbing throbbing the pain is increasing
Like a jack hammer never unceasing
Longing longing for the pains decreasing
Too much pain, I need the releasing

Like soft white clouds, floating in the wind
I feel the medication like a comforting friend

There is joy in the world 
But sometimes we're too busy to notice 
Every bird that heralds the morn
Every sunrise that brightens our day 

Every sunset and starry sky and aurora 
Every colour and sound ever displayed 
Every rainbow and cloudscape we treasure

Life Way Up There

Sometimes a turn is a lifetime
You can't live on the past life.
Move on and face the present
Time can't be a value you miss.
It's a long way forward go off road
No frills, no chills but braveness.
The finishing line intended who's
Heart is fix and mind is made up.
Never let go of good intentions,
But cherish on going to

Dream is always new be you young or old
There is no limitations to your own
So far you can stand to its hindrance bold
Through countless days and nights in trouble Zone

There is no much risk living for many
But living up to one is always great
Too useless when not dying for any

When Virtues Wait

The life you walk now sighs beneath your feet—
a path once clear now tastes bittersweet.
Even as you carry grace like gold,
judgment greets you, distant and cold.

Kindness speaks, but you hush her voice,
as if warmth is now the weaker choice.
Respect once danced at your command,
but now she trembles, bare and banned.

The Will to Live

      The will to live is of the spirit within
          the wish to die, of the flesh without

      Lines in the sand, daily drawn
          the battle 24/7

What is life

Life is the expression of God in form,
whilst death’s the life principle moving on,
in a new vessel, birthing a love storm,
just as the darkness of night yields to dawn,
as the transmigrating soul is reborn.
Desires exhausted, to God we return
but until then we continue to burn.

An Oath To Truth And Right

Sorrow had passed his way many times,
said the lines across his brow.
His truth was challenged again and again,
but to lies he refused to bow. 


Even in the face of death,
his ground he firmly stood.
He'd taken an oath long years ago,
to always do as he knew he should.
