I have no idle time to spare
to just sit, rest and stare
Leisure, a word I literally define
into my world I can trace no sign
a body in motion.. a brain absorbed
beauty blurred.. life confined
The Muse of poetry, the soul is the abode
do I need my ink to upload?
*****
My words I’d love to release
restore between the ribs peace.
*****
A past lingering sweet incense
feeding the inner self with sense
As for now, prevailing is the scent of evil
human nature slipping into upheaval
Souls roaming.. dry are their wells
unspirited shapes.. empty shells
There is fire that burns not kindles
the voice of heart fades and dwindles.
*****
My words I’d love to release
restore between the ribs peace.
*****
Hiding within words magic strain
bonding with stories penned out of pain
I learnt to understand and withstand
a living human not in human hand
I was once made quite aware
of one answer to Humanity welfare
Put aside your words and thoughts
restore your nature.. untie your knots
Nature immunes your body and spirit
bliss and peace, a reward on your merit.
*****
My words I’d love to release
restore between the ribs peace.
I have withstood this austere year
Waiting on skies which never clear
Shadows away
Fingers restless for an hour's peace
Scrapes gold flakes from a drying crease
of papier-mache
Random resistance too refined
Leisure, a luxury consigned
To yesterday
Now, tart impatience I require
Passive manners swiftly expire
Against delay
In rushing tempo, I rejoice
Straight-held shoulders, marching my voice
Into the fray
On stout cliffs, I refuse the same
Meek rain, in favor of bold flame
Where bright hopes lay.

(a note on papier-mache: howmanysyllables has it as 3 syllables but in rhymezone.com it is listed under the four syllable words. I used the count from howmanysyllables.com, but to check it in rhymezone, it is under the four syllable count rhymes - just so there is no confusion.)
Come Here, My Dear, And Have No Fear
Come here my dear, and have no fear, -- listen to this tale of woe,
Gates that never close is Hell, they weave concoctions evil spell,
Pains of the tormented swell, for there's no cure or hope in Hell,
Yet, by my side, as words flow, beget no fear my dear, you know,
Tentacles of death, I dispel, from bizarre regions of Hell.
My account of this dark chapter negates whole that is pleasure,
For there is only trembling of this, fear hawks the soul its gist,
Just take delightful leisure, a shed of hope, some small gesture,
Nay, the darkness rise and in its midst, Hell's keys are in its fist,
Hell's minion's all treasure, nay confidence, nor countermeasure,
By and by, for here my dear, a fearless kiss and all dismissed.

Some folk like to talk, but my vote is for cuddling,
At work or at leisure, a cuddle is great,
When emotions are soaked through, it's still a good kindling,
Can get a fire going where Love has no weight!
No lapse of your rights or a need for convergence
A cuddle gives notice, "My friend welcome home!
A more humane acceptance of rights to divergence,
True meaning expressed when one utters, "Shalom!"
If you love someone, please I beg, "Hug them now!" sir,
Who waits for a verdict does not serve God's ends
For God's Grace is His Justice, "forgiveness of sinner!"
By blessing its enemies, wisdom finds friends!

Nothing is mean: for,
I am a happy guy!
Circus, I have my home,
with pole on hand
I stroll on rope,
years I show again
in no way botched,
Nothing is mean: for,
I am a happy guy!
my confidence unmatched!
my courage at right balance!
my rhythm well seasoned !
a great hero!
people scream, clap, cry...
Nothing is mean: for,
I am a happy guy!
great leisure, a rare flair,
Know not any other,
own nothing, single I,
my spirits always high!
Nothing is mean: for,
I am a happy guy!
my boss, my ALMIGHTY!
my food, he takes care!
my dresses, he provide!
my outings, he pay!
Nothing is mean: for,
I am a happy guy!
