English landscape painter Frederick Richard Lee
focused on places like Devon and Scotland primarily.
Animals might be added to pastoral scenes by a peer.
Main collaborators were Cooper and Edwin Landseer.
Artist Annie Lee (1935-2014) “Blue Monday”
Sunken soul like setting sun
Inner child no longer smiles
Carmel like skin is no fun
Kissing hungry ribs all while
A wafting wind blows aroma in
Neighbors meals smell great
Decadent food not a sin
Tired of not having a taste
It’s a blessing bills are paid
Really appreciate that fact
Even if I won’t eat today
Do my best to not feel sad
Dorothy Lee dresses like a street urchin from London town
She is not a frilly frothy girl, you’ll never see her in a gown
Her brother’s oversized boots are good enough for Dorothy Lee
Does she wear socks inside them? No this you’ll never see.
She is the youngest daughter of a family with eighteen kids.
Seventeen older brothers, one of them on the skids.
She dresses like she’s homeless, though they have lots of money.
Her mama left a long time ago, which truly was not funny.
She wanted to take Dorothy Lee, but she refused to go.
She loves her older brothers Terry, Tom, Timmy, Dick and Danny so.
Her daddy never had a girl, so is raising her like a boy.
This, says Dorothy Lee, is my biggest joy.
Can I win you over with a poem
Or maybe with a song
I find myself drawn to a girl I barely know
I have an affinity for you,
You feel so familiar in my thoughts
There's a four letter word I wish I could say
To sum up all these feelings I can't explain
Maybe it's too early so I'll refrain
I dwell on a stranger I've never met
Give in, oh Stranger, grant this wooer a chance
Let him foster your pups,
And grow into the man you'll love
Lee, the quintessential witch appears only every sixty-six years
she brings with her a style that delights all the young ears
always the keynote speaker, she keeps her audiences enthralled
I saw her but once; she was being practically mauled.
Everyone wanted her autograph, so I said jump in with me.
I said we can go anywhere, just tell me what you want, Lee.
She wanted to see the Erin Brockovich movie, so we did that.
When I returned her to her hotel, she tipped me with her hat.
You are my poetry.
You are my Tarzan.
You show me birds
above the trees
and offer great
music
to my soul.
My Lee…
you make me feel alive.
Taffy Lee had no memory of Planet X45Z
or the pod that brought her to earth on December twenty-three
No one understands where her powers come from
We were inexperienced said her mother, not just plain dumb
Taffy Lee could hear people talking beyond her block
could open every door no matter what kind of lock
she never knew she was from Planet X45Z
her powers were as amazing as any aliens could be.
Determined energy encapsulates what smolders silently inside.
Quiet resilience produce a bold, inspiring presence that space opens wide.
With a colour gamut of profound earthy tone,
Striking fiery reds and chilling white hot lashes stand alone.
Morgan's painting suggests the perception of dancing flames to a beat,
Within the vision, to create a physical feeling of blistering heat.
This symbolizes deepest strength of passion with his brushstrokes.
Dynamic intensity instills the mesmerizing impression of movement it evokes. Demanding attention to the potential of power below the surface.
Gifted craft accompanied by the celebration of beauty is its purpose.
As I gaze at the canvas, undeniable appreciation of this abstract can begin,
With wild untamed spirit ''The Fire Within".
Ronald Lee Ermey
definitely showed no mercy
as Gunnery Sgt Hartmann
he delivered his best Marine DI impression
I rarely see a ghastly sight said Lee
Nothing grisly or gruesome except on TV
I watch homicides all day and night long
What murderers do to bodies, is usually wrong.
Why don’t you watch uplifting shows? Mama said
They don’t interest me or excite my head.
Liking the macabre seemed weird to her.
Especially since Lee used to be pacifist-pure.
I’m still all about peace, Lee quickly said.
My fascination is with the ones who are dead.
People who got taken by an unknown killer.
I like a twisted story, especially a thriller.
Lee vilifies Henry, her husband, a good man
Maligning him whenever and however she can
Most of us move out of her arrogant lying way
Not wanting to hear what she has to spout or say
Carolyn Lee, a quirky artist, befriended me
She did everything with a bucket of glee
Best of all, her friendship was free
I learned a lot from Carolyn Lee.
She played art well, with a tee hee hee
Always laughing and beautifully
Other people’s criticism she did not hear or see
She was super confident, Carolyn Lee.
Why don’t you come paint with me?
She asked me with her usual kind of glee.
I wanted to, and the paint was free.
But I was intimidated by Carolyn Lee.
Lee considered himself the most famous chili maker in the west
Added tobacco, Heinz 57, cinnamon, gave it a big taste test
We had heard about his concoctions, and could not wait.
The first bite was terrible, second bitter, the third one a bad fate.
What about this stew had given him a glowing review?
We could not keep our faces straight; this stuff was a big boo-hoo.
Lee waited expectantly, but none of us play poker.
His terrific chili had been replaced by his wife’s, she was a horrible joker.
When we got the straight stuff, it was worth the wait.
Lee was a fabulous chili maker; his concoction was quite great.
Why did you do that? We asked her, for the why we could not guess.
I was a bit jealous, said his evil wife, Miss Jess.
LeeAnn never expected another bout of luck.
On Wednesday she discovered a new breed of duck.
On Thursday she stumbled upon another rare find.
She had a truly serendipitous engaging mind.
On Friday a country undiscovered is what she found.
She is the most fascinating adventurer around.
On Saturday we thought she might take a little rest.
That is the day she stumbled upon a dinosaur nest.
Lee Ann had never tried alcohol before
Had a little sip, then four bottles more
Her sense of humor seemed unusually high
Made friends with a stranger, a handsome young guy
Her judgement was now completely and deeply asleep
Pickled and pie-eyed, she got into the stranger’s jeep
I’ll take her home, he reassured her friend, Miss Kim.
Twenty-two years ago; and she was never seen again.
