The ocean shatters on the banks of my despair
where I stand above the cliffs in mournful yearning there,
amid the thunder and the lightning
that cracks the black of night
I curse the rocks below that took his precious life.

Oh Cannon Lee, Oh Cannon Lee!

my merman of the sea,
so beautiful a creature the world has never seen.
To gaze upon his beauty is to wake up in a dream
and drift forever in those tranquil eyes of green,
those dreamy eyes of my darling Cannon Lee.

I met him on the shore of Evermore
where he lay upon the rocks, his tail torn,
battered by the raging storm, so cold and so forlorn,
dying in the wake of early morn.

I wrapped myself around him, beneath my ermine cape,
and felt his shallow breath upon my tear-stained face
as he took me with a kiss
to his land beneath the sea,
the only place where he could ever live and breathe.

Visions of Atlantis were painted in my mind,
a castle on a cliff where liquid valleys wind
amid the blue and green
and all the shades of light that fall between,
the difference of awake and in a dream.

And in that final hour
his heart began to beat as mine,
and I knew for evermore that I would never find
a love so deep, complete and so divine
as the love that stole my heart, my soul, my mind,
my darling Cannon Lee.

And now I stand upon the cliff of Evermore,
and fall into those dreamy eyes of green once more.

Lee Ramage-Our Random Plea

My Dearest Lee…How we miss thee!
Please come back…here is our plea…
If you’d come back, we agree…
To eat cold Brussels sprouts and a pea
To swim across the Yellow sea
To take you on a shopping spree
To suck the stinger from a bee
To take you to Vail and let you ski
To shine your name on a marquee
To rig you kids’ spelling bee
To let you race in the Grand Prix
To arrange with the queen, afternoon tea
To kick Chris and Frank in the knee
To give up our glass of Chablis
To let you win every game of yahtzee
To run around naked, like a banshee
Lee, please come back and hear our plea
Then we will all be yellin’ “YIPPEE”

*Now Lee…we would never really kick Chris and Frank in the knee b/c we love them dearly but the rest is true :) We really miss your style of poetry…your message pieces…your unique way of telling a story. Please come back to us my dear.

When will you reveal to us
Your mysterious androgyny?

A signal to arise.
I saw it in your eyes.
Reveille.

In good company
Aroused in your bed
Reveling with you
Reveille.

A celebration of the bugle
Your eyes of blue
So close to sunrise
Alive with boisterous excitement
Reveille

Awakened in no time
Every day a new one
Yielding to your arms
Your trinkets with magical powers
Keep us not asunder
Reveille

Tis cold this time of year
Whispering sweet nothings in your ear
Aloud with temper
Under the covers
Consumed and alert
Daybreak for Saturnalia
Reveille

And should I sleep
Away the hours
Under Sun and Moon
My romantic muse
Your castles in the sky
Visions of you
My fool's paradise
And it's cool sheets.
Reveille.

A dream of a rustling
Amongst the flowers
Plumb dumb
With much attention
A revelation
Of our affection
Forever young
Is your fine
Devotion.
Reveille.

Going All Bruce Lee

"Going All Bruce Lee"

It’s like holding water
in your hands.
they say, be like water
as if on the drop,
the turn of H20 on tap,
one can go all Bruce Lee.

he was rather gung-ho;
but the subliminal message
he  projected, without malice
in his lithe fluidity
brought on dreamy visions

of going all soft
and compliant.

one might say
malleable,
with the flow.
water has its hard moments
like when it turns to ice.

frozen in cold
abrupt moments.

I read a poet, tonight,
she says,

“consciousness swims slick
outside my fingers,
trembling perceptions
pure and round.
Infinitely slow
I close my grip,
entrapping and watch
them drown”.

I felt that.
I felt that.

Memories of what was
solid once, drift down
with the heaviness of time,
weight sinking through the
lightness of water.

Sun shines
through water.
it touches
the top to mid-section
doesn't mean it rhymes

in time with
what is beautiful
and poetic. Sometimes
the beauty lies, ugly,
at the bottom,

covered in silt.
drowned.
you know what I mean.
I know you know
what I mean.

Sunshine never
touches that place.
but treasure and
objects of beauty
lie there, waiting to be found.

the silt residing
with sunken treasure,
that which also lies
with car wrecks, sifting
rotting useless tenure,

carries residual essence.
there is found forgotten
moments of beauty and
pleasure in the discarded
flotsam and jetsam

washed up on a shore,
like memories
begging to be gripped
in palms that want
to be read. it aint shiny and new.

shells held to an ear,
there is message
in the sound;
we are just, content
with the mystery of it all.

"Empty your mind.
Be formless, shapeless,
like water.
You put water into a cup,
it becomes the cup."

Me and drowned
Bruce Lee, in the end
floating memories.
war came in like
a flood, no ark

nor shipped
platform to be
saved.
Memories dissolve
like aspirin.

We swallow
all we love
and understand,
the meaning of it all
hits us on review.

eventually,
we float
immortal
into other worlds
on the next tsunami.

dry bed
or wet,
we sink, we rise,
we float away
into other worlds.

we accept
the contract.
we ride the next wave.

“I’m locked out of my sports car,” said Lee
to a cop while he stood helplessly.
“Man, your ragtop is DOWN,”
said the cop with a frown.
“Just reach in there and pull out your key!”

You are not wrong
So please don’t feel blue
But people, belittle
They’ll manipulate you

You are not wrong
Just because you’re unique
But people will judge
As they love to speak

You are not wrong
If you don’t fit the mold
Forget what they say
They’re naive and bold

You are not wrong
For just being you
You are one of a kind
And your heart is true

You are not wrong
Please don’t forget
Wherever you are
You’ll always fit

Lee's birthday 28.02.2020

Today is your birthday
There's so much I want to say
We're going to visit your special place
Hope to see your smiling face

I know you're looking down on us
Wondering what's all the fuss
We miss you Lee this is true
Looking up at the sky it's blue

Finca is the place to be
Sat with mother,brother and me
Chilling out having a laugh
Giving Adri a regimental bath

Gareth and I are working hard
This should be in a card
You are missed by everyone
Gone but never forgotten

I hope the angels are treating you nice
Not feeding you Berkshire rice
I'm hearing all about your family
So caring and kind just like thee

We visited your favourite place
Coffee and beer raised to the empty space
Then to l'Ampolla  we did go
Along the beach waves did flow

Although it has been battered by a storm
All the family on good form
Tapas and beer want we did want
So we went to a local restaurant

Your birthday gave us a day off
We all enjoyed a beautiful scoff
So we're with you on this night
I'll get the round - see I'm not tight!

A true legend you're sorely missed
Tonight we will all get p×××ed
Happy birthday brother Lee
From Mum, Gareth and all the family

Consummation though just could not be.
The more that they tried,
the more Sue Lee cried.
Winkle’s willy was just much too wee.

This one is going to hurt.

That is why it has taken me so long to write it,
Because a part of me still loves you
And thought you would call or write me.
I know you need your time;
You have your process, and I respect it.

But today, today, I was ready.
I opened the drawers.
I picked up your sweaters,
This time not to smell it,
But to fold it nicely and carefully place it in a box,
The first of many items, ready to go,
Because I am ready to let go.

Let go of the hope that we could still be.
I said my goodbyes to you slowly, thoughtfully,
Letting every memory of every outing and every snuggle
Flood my brain.
And with every packed trouser, shirt, and pair of socks,
I was able to smile and embrace
Every memory with nostalgia and gratitude.

You were with me through some of the toughest times in my life;
We uplifted, loved, and encouraged one another for four years,
And we loved through the laughter and the tears.

As I pack your things, I no longer have fear.
Yes, we have grown apart,
But the memory of us will forever live in my heart.
I am grateful for the time we shared,
And am proud of who we are.
Maybe in another life, we would have married and stayed merry,
But in this one, I am filling boxes with your things.

In this one,
I can only cherish the moments we had
As I say goodbye and wish you love, luck, and happiness.
Happiness, I, too, know I will find.

But know that a part of me will forever love you,
And although my heart is heavy, today, I know I am ready.
Yes, it did hurt,
But in the process, it also healed.

And the box is now sealed.

God's Calm Lee

Finally, finally the storm’s calming lee,
All that remains is a monotonous sea.
My body moves to its rise and fall,
As my mind still fights yesterday's squall.

Against the waves my ship rode tall.
Against the ocean’s forbidden wall.
It tore the planks and shredded her sail.
It bent the mast and left her frail.

My boat no longer the weather's slave,
It feathered down to her watery grave.
From the horizon, is that heaven's call,
or a flash of lighting and another squall?

Comforted by lullaby of lapping sound,
I pray to hope that my body's found.
Do the clouds deliver another biblical glow,
Or is it lightning's last retreating blow?

I must cede to the light's calling pleasure
And join my ship as unmarked treasure.

The Late Stan Lee

He created The Incredible Hulk and The Amazing Spider-Man.
Stan Lee has died and it has devastated millions of his fans.
He also created The Fantastic Four.
But he didn't stop there, he created even more.

Fans are sad because he didn't survive.
But he did have a long life, he was 95.
If it wasn't for him, the X-Men wouldn't exist.
He was loved by many and he will be missed.

A Verse by Eve Roper and James E Lee Sr- ALL CHILDREN OF GOD-IT’S UP TO US TO LOVE-

"Thank you”, Father
For the Children,  all children
Oh! Lord
"Thank you”, God
For the their lives, all children
Oh! Lord

And God.. It’s up to us
 To love, teach and model
 What is good God bless the little ones..

Oh! Jesus it’s you whom are a true role-model
It’s neither those peers nor pressures of this world
And My Lord it’s you that we should follow
Not man, not my earthy father or mother

Oh! Jesus you, teach and model and take care
It’s you whose the true and the light that shines here..
It is good, you are good God bless
As we do thank you for those little ones..

We’re all children of God.. it's up to us to love, teach and model what is good

"Thank you”, God
For the their lives, all children
Oh! Lord"

A Verse by Kim Rodrigues and James E. Lee Sr.-
He Sees Through His Beautiful Eyes We Are Worthy and Worth

As such, we much;
Remain (in…)
Such a beautiful refrain!
Continually praise, our Living King;
Jesus
And I go further
That we are all are God’s children
And we’re worthy
Worthy
Jesus
The sinner and the saint
and we must see the beautiful eyes too!
Glory, Glory…
Alleluia
Jesus
And when God looks at us
Yes! We’re a mess, just filthy rags
But when repentive are true selves
He sees through His beautiful eyes
We are worthy and no longer worthless
Jesus
And I go further
That we are all are God’s children
And we’re worthy
Worthy
Jesus
The sinner and the saint
And we must see the beautiful eyes too!
Glory, Glory…
Hallelujah

Oh, and you my friend are truly blessed;
Oh, love of mankind may God keep and continue rewarding you,
In every way each and every day;
I stand at the gate, and as I wait;
Your faith, your poetic heart;
Enlightens me and gives me courage;
Alas and you my friend are truly bless;
Your talent and your immense kindness!
Gives us hope and guidance;
In every way each and every day;
I stand at the gate, and as I wait;
For I am first, a lover of Jesus;
Alas and you my friend are truly bless;
And I am first, a lover of God;
Oh! And I’m next a lover of mankind;
And all that I am Lord God then man, I AM;
Let the people who read this say... Alleluia;
Let the people place this in their hearts Alleluia;
Let the hurt and blessed come together and witness;
Alleluia, alleluia Amen;
