Where Pluto goes comes the dawn of lifetimes on the earthly planes,
Two hundred forty eight earth years to be exactly right on time
For the birth death cycles of many hearts including mine.

Back in 1979
The AFKN radio announcer
Said it was minus 70
That morning.

All Korean taste.

Korean Rainy Night of Love
When I first met my love
My Korean bride in 1982.
We would go for long walks
Often ending with dinner.
After a romantic walk
In the rained
Soaked streets.
As we sat down
At the restaurant
Enjoying a dinner date.
We looked at the menu
Under the ruby red lights
Of the pub.
And fell in love
Every moment
Looking at each other.
With love blazing
From our eyes.
Sparks flew from heart to heart.
It was love
At first sight
Forging a deep
Lasting emotional connections.
As we fell deeply
Under each other’s love spell.
The mojo clearly
Working overtime
As Cupid’s arrow struck home.
During the course
Of the magical evening.
I love K food
I love the taste
I love the fragrance
I love the smells
I love the texture
I love the feel
I love how it looks
Korean food is somewhat like
Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Thai
With some American influences as well
But it is also unique
Distinctive and delicious
The fragrance of Korean food
Is what draws me in
The aroma of garlic, ginger, sesame oil
Soy sauce, red pepper paste, vinegar, sugar
And other spices and herbs
That creates a symphony of scents
That stimulates My appetite
And make My mouth water

I own a Korean appliance store
Protestors smashed my front door
broke all the windows, trashed the floor
then stripped the shelves, but there's more
to this story than meets the eye
I've always been the friendly neighborhood guy
hiring drop-outs, ex-cons, some drunk or high
extending bad credit to help folks buy...
The damage done just breaks my heart
to pick up the pieces, make a brand-new start
at my age makes no sense; it's not so smart
This neighborhood's signaled: Leave! Depart!
But before I go, I'd like to ask
a question that my brain does rack --
Why don't they jail criminals in this country
Where's justice for shopkeepers, like my wife and me?

so many things
to enjoy and eat
tweet-speak wrappers
Awash in a big sea of blood
Trump's Cash Cow was chewing its cud
Kim Jong-Un laughed,
"Don't be so daft!
You know it was only a dud!"
