TRUMP 2024

Win, Trump, win - God, please
Give America at ease
He's liberating...

2024
Make America grand again
He's great - hope's in store!

He's freedom-giving
You're the honey to the bees
Christ & God - He'll win?

I'm conservative
But, I vote for Christ alone
Spiritually-wise

Faith in the Lord - yes!
He's a success in progress
A work of pure art..

So, let Him win then!
He'll make America 10!
2024 - win!

I'm 27
Donald Trump is a great guy!
Confident - He is!

Pride's before a fall
We all need humility
Egotistical...

Trump tells the truth too -
Unlike you, Koala bear
You don't care 'bout us

Premium MemberKoala Bear Hair

Recently I found a big Koala
Sitting in my lounge watching t.v
With fluffy grey hair and big round tum
He was cute as can be!

He didn’t look like other Koalas
He was different to the rest
He had fluffy hair around his head
A bald patch in the middle
Which looked like a birds nest!

I asked Mr Koala
What is going on?
“Well he said, I will tell you a tale”
That won’t take me very long

I’m having a little trouble
With the Mrs you see
She’s says my hairs too fluffy
Crazy and scruffy

He said, I love my birds nest hair
I think I look real cool
However, I don’t want any strife
Because as the saying goes
Happy Koala wife
Happy Koala life!

So now I must go to the Koala Barber
To have my hair styled and cut
Because if I don’t …..
The Mrs will kick my Koala butt!!

Free Thought

Raise a glass to all who care
About civil rights and the Koala bear
Save the planet, spare the rod
Make them listen, ride roughshod
Assume that we're ignorant, tie back our ears
Open our eye's year upon year
"Please let me through, let me go to work"
"Just Stop Oil" said with a smirk
Glued to trains, who's idea was that
The men who pay these idiots, Yes those prats
Disrupt where they can, disrupt everything
Nothing will stop them till the Fat Lady sings
They wreck havoc each day with total impunity
Disrupting our lives away from their communities
Selfish actions that can affect our lives
Not to their families but our children and wives
Enough is enough now, let us decide
Not to be bullied into taking your side
Your actions disgust me, I just want to be
In control of my thoughts which I once thought were free.

Premium MemberI Will Plant Eucalyptus Trees

At my home, I shall grow two fragrant eucalyptus trees.
To entice and taunt koala bear company if you please.
A large knothole in the bark can house merry honey bees.
I can almost hear the queen of the hive snoring with zees.

I will plant these beauties along my carrots and my peas.
I’ll not use straw to hold the seeds. Straw makes me sneeze.
I will not use hay, because that stuff makes me wheeze.
I will guard the eucalyptus seeds away from each breeze.

Hoping that koala bears do not carry mites, lice or fleas.
But do not make fun of me or my trees. Don’t tease.
Because I will sick on you my dog, Old Louise.
And this loyal mutt will chase you off with lithe and ease.

Premium MemberGrisly Grizzly Bear

The Brown Grizzly Bear is so called,
not for its grizzled hair, grey-tipped
but because it is truly grisly, horrible!
(Ursus arctos horribilis)
This brown bear is gruesome and deplorable.

The amber Pizzly Bear is so called,
not for its swizzle stick.
but because it is a hybrid bear,
a Polar-Grizzly cross,
(Ursus maritimus × Ursus arctos)

The ash-grey Koala Bear is not a bear at all,
though it's nice and teddy-bear cuddly.
(Phascolarctos cinereus)
But the 'arktos' in its genus name, means 'bear'.
Its been wrongly named from the start,
the 'ashy-grey' pouched bear.
So there you have it!
Three bears, caught breaking and entering,
slagging off the language.

Premium MemberChildhood's Time Lapse

I recall looking sweetly, out of my crib, do you?
I must have been near the age of two.

The living room lights were on and glowing.
And Chicago snowflakes, out my window were
  lovely and flowing.

I held my Nancy doll near my pullsating heart.
From her, I never ever wanted to part!

Now, a grandmother, my self, no longer a girl.
Where have my golden locks gone, those tiny
  pretty curls?

What about my Koala bear from Australia?
So lovable~ a toy, that never failed you.

My blanket was a thick, quilted satin.
My pillow had embroidered cats upon it.

The decades have past, but memory lives on.
And an irresistible time lapse, gives me a smile
  with it, each grinning dawn!

Too Many Legs

I have figured out my arachnophobia,
it’s not the multiple eyes
or the seen or imagined hairiness of the body,
or that torso-less squishy bag.

Apart from we bipedal life-forms
four legs, one on each corner,
seems about right.
Eight is a nightmare.

I try to imagine a Koala Bear with eight legs,
or a Rhinoceros
or, heaven forbid, a crocodile.

Somehow nature got drunk on its own ripe berries,
somehow, 8 became its own demented trick
played upon we giants.

We instinctively leap away from that ancient stillness,
a crouching threat that at any moment
could burst into that fast stiff shuffle.

We watch dismayed as it
carries its own vulnerable package of horror
on all those ratcheted hoists and cranes
itself fearful even to be seen.

Adam and Eve

Adam & Eve

If a koala bear had been sitting in the apple tree
and Eve had asked Adam to move the animal
to the appropriate tree so it could feed and sleep
there would be no need for religion and snakes
would have no poison.

It was Eve when she had her period, which got
the idea to cover her distress with a palm leaf,
Adam liked the design and the garment industry
was born, but it was Eve who wore and made
the first hat to protect her hair from the sun.

I Saw a Hippopotamus

I saw a Hippopotamus going to the fair,
wearing pink pyjamas with a bow up in his hair,
he was followed by a Zebra who was wearing bright
blue socks,
a Chimp and a Koala bear, wearing matching frocks,
they climbed into the teapots looking quite a sight,
and a little old man spat out his teeth as they gave him quite a fright!

I wish that I was a koala bear
Napping in eucalyptus-scented air
In trees, safe from attack
No dingoes get to snack
Oh, to have my avatar's cuteness flair!

Peyote Highway

On Peyote Highway

The lanes go this way and that
Purple haze sunset to the left
The radio changes itself

On Peyote Highway

The flowers all try to hitch rides
With thumbs held high in the sky
While cactus ride by on their bikes

On Peyote Highway

Rainbow clouds speak in foreign tongue
The Koala Bear next to you sucks his thumb
The clown on the hood chews Juicy Fruit gum

On Peyote Highway

Skeletons rattle their bones in the back
Constantly asking are we there yet
As mimes mouth hello from the ditch

On Peyote Highway

You travel in both space and time
Take the pedal off the metal of your mind
Set the scenery to always rewind

On Peyote Highway

Stay With Me Just a Little While

will you come to me my love
i waited all the day long
i see your smile in my head
i beg for your return
for my heart does yearn
to hold you would be holding a flame upon my hands
that burns deep into my soul
without your love i lose control
for the reason i love you so
is in the things you are
beauty as the stars
tenderness as a koala bear
kind as my own kin
if loving you is wrong then i will bear my sin
deep within i hold a place for you
deep within you cast your spell
deep within without you it is a living hell
come to me my love lighten upon me like a turtledove
carry me away with your beauty
lead me with your smile
stay with me just a little while

Premium MemberThe Koala Bear

It came all the way from Australia
And it was my favourite toy.
A beautiful soft koala bear.
He was my pride and joy.

It wasn't a very big bear at all
So I carried it everywhere.
It was actually very easy for me
To hide it here and there.

It was the uninvited guest
Just about every place I'd go.
I loved that little koala bear
That I'd drag along in tow.

He came halfway around the world
Just to be my favourite toy.
Even when he'd lost an ear and an eye,
He was still my pride and joy.
