The Corona Blues

The Corona Blues (Revisited)

So sick of being stuck at home
Just want to get out and roam
Can go nowhere without a mask
Can’t do my weekly tasks
I got the lowdown Corona blues

Get high all-day
It’s the only way
I can deal with the stress
Of all this mess
I got the lowdown Corona Blues....

Some say it's overblown
That really makes me moan
That statement is so untrue
Follow the rules on what to do
I got the lowdown Corona Blue.

Seems now people don’t listen
As this virus mutates and glistens
Some ignore the fact it exists
Do the wrong thing and take risks
Yeah, I got the lowdown Corona (Covid-19) Blues

Just a little humor to lighten people's moods a little

Return of Spring

Springtime
Hue on display
Moment of refreshing
There's an uptake of nutrients
Trees spread out their healthy and joyful boughs
Season of rejuvenation
Harbinger of newness
Rebirth of hope
Springtime

Spring Hopes Joyfulness

Joyful
The time of spring
The season comes widely
Beautifies all through the nature
Seen-unseen everything is beautiful
Peaceful love acutely lives fair
Glowing buds, green lively
Dressed everything
Joyful

Raindrop

Raindrop
                 Dripping, pouring
            Glittering, shimmering
          Fascinating, captivating
As it was struck by golden ray of light
         Interesting, mesmerizing
         Sending rays of hope, for
                 After drought is
                          Raindrop

Flowers,
 Spring's fragrant hope,
 Cherry blossoms in pink,
 Daffodils adorned in gold gowns
Magnolia trees clothed in starry blooms,
 Butterflies dancing on the breeze
 Tasting spring's sweet nectar
 in the lovely

A Date With Spring

Calm Spring
Winters dust fades
We’ll step out on that date
With the symphony of bird song
Brushing my cold bones with orange blossoms
Above fanfares of daffodils
Blowing ripples of warmth
No more thermals
Calm Spring

Hope for
Winter to soon
Recede to the arctic
In warm zephyr songbirds fly back
Colors burst on blooming beauty of buds
Charmed butterflies float in fragrance
Bare boughs be green again
Spring’s return they
Hope for.

this spring,
                    we'll walk among
             the cherry blossom trees,
pray that hope continues to float,
enjoy nature, rain, bird songs; marvel at...
           butterflies fluttering about,
            flowers in full bloom, life...
                     coming alive
                      this spring

Come Oh Spring

COME OH SPRING

Oh Spring
Please, please come soon
To loosen winter’s grip
And bring us hope of life anew.
With crocuses and yellow daffodils
And multi-coloured tulips too.
New leaves upon the trees.
Bees awaking
Oh Spring

                                                   Winter
                                               Legacy born
                                        In depths of jagged cold
Streams flow ‘neath quilts of frozen capes
Warm winds whisper in amber shadowed dusk
                                  Wildflowers dream dreams of
                                         Floral tapestry fields
                                         As spring births from
                                                   Winter

Premium Member Longing For Spring

Longing,
for mossy banks
to erupt - spring flowers.
Daffodils, tulips, and snowdrops
like magic from the earth will reappear.
Every year, as the seasons turn,
when winter snow recedes,
the world watches
longing.

Premium Member Spring Arrives

Arrives,
spring in green hues.
Buds and blooms opening.
The crocuses are in full bloom,
violet and pink amid slender leaves.
Bees rally round and songbirds chirp,
flying from tree to tree.
Season of cheer,
Arrives!

Groundhog's Spring

Groundhog
Poke your head up
Tell us all spring is soon
The cold roared in like a lion
So farewell winter like a little lamb
Surface for warm air and flowers
Only a few more weeks
From your report
