A Date With Spring

Calm Spring 
Winters dust fades 
We’ll step out on that date 
With the symphony of bird song 
Brushing my cold bones with orange blossoms 
Above fanfares of daffodils 
Blowing ripples of warmth 
No more thermals 
Calm Spring
