The green leafed tree in the harbor.
There the freights are advanced.
Sailors with quality tools, while
diners feast and play chess. The edge
Of the merchants dine hall has a Blindspot
where tugboats honk there horn to
enter the harbor. A large pile of bones
where the chef has stacked them, for
the jewelers to retrieve them to make
Carved ornaments for tourist and others.
We find there Snorkel and Algae two
Fiddlers who play music while diners
Eat at the Surfin Toot restaurant.
"Anchors ah shore maties, Anchors ah-
Shore!"
Captain Morse Pierconn
USS Snorkelcraft
Chauffeur play'd Hymn
But didn't play me
Swift sung to her
But didn't sing to me
People like song
But didn't like me
What we gon do
What we gon do
Indough neigh ah
Ah beautiful ismuss
Brazilian strings
A pretty lady
We sing ah song
But song don't
Sing me
We sing ah song
Of love!
Remember you were told
To always remain bold
While walking the Path of Gold;
To not let self be down rolled
But the Yellowish Thing hold…
Gold mere blacksmiths would remold
And by simple jewelers controlled.
So, never before Gold
Accept that you’re old
Nor shiver like The Cold
Nor like Autumnal Leaves fold
A just alerted cuckold!
To have a boat poled
To a good length
From no glittering Gold
Comes the strength.
I think often of that day,
One of many in the passing years.
A way back to it cannot be found,
So the skeptical say,
But poets know time is malleable,
Like gold in the jewelers hands.
As the cooper prepares a barrel for new wine the cord-wainer is fashioning new shoes, the cart-wright is building a new cart and I am at the tailors being fitted for new clothes. My lady asleep unknown that I am preparing her a treat, the busker practicing a new song with perfect pitch and tone. All the gong-farmers are cleaning the out doors all this, a surprise that awaits my lady.
The monk busy in the church lighting candles and preparing his words, my ladies servants creating a meal fit for a King and Queen. Lone for many years this lady just appeared, her beauty beyond compare, dark hair with a soul from heaven capturing my heart. Her crown at the jewelers placing new rube's and diamonds upon on it while the butcher prepares a lamb.
As I lay on the battle field with a sword through my armor theses thought’s cross my mind, for tomorrow was to be our wedding day. Let it be known my love for her will never die on this day, take my soul and place it next to hers, my Lord! Casting theses thought’s into hers so she will always remember me. I pray now my Lord please, watch over her!
I glance at my favorite ring.
The one I wear every day now.
The large pear shaped blue topaz is gone.
The opal band looks bereft without it.
I think of all the groceries I have sacked in the last four hours.
Wishing I had not cleaned the storeroom too now.
Want me to help you look? My manager asks.
I am a check-out girl who also had to clean a freezer today.
It could be in six dozen places, all of them in this store.
Or at home, under a couch, or swept up in a vacuum bag.
This is the day the cleaning lady comes and she only vacuums.
I blink back tears. It could have gone home with a customer.
My beautiful blue topaz will be thrown away by someone
Who might not even see it. Maybe it is in a paper bag crease.
Believe it or not someone has found it and brings it back to the store.
Here it is now, safe and sound, at the jewelers, getting new prongs.
People are basically not only good, but sometimes great.
I’ve been setting up alarm systems
in shops along a city mall.
It appears a spate of break ins
has been the reason for my call.
And it was in a jewelers shop,
before that day called valentine,
for lovers was around the corner.
This day’s a jeweler’s gold mine.
I had to work around red roses;
chocolates for cupid’s buyers,
while I’m putting in the system
and connecting all the wires.
I was given cups of coffee,
and a cadbury rose chocolate,
as the pretty sales assistant,
tried to buy me with her chat.
When I say she tried to buy me
it was to make a honey sale.
She said stoned rings are discounted,
and ear ring gifts will never fail.
A diamond brooch is lovely;
perhaps a locket made of gold.
‘Your girlfriend will truly love you;’
But there’s no girlfriend she was told.
‘No girlfriend!’ she squeaked. ‘Why not?’
and I smiled ‘simply this you see.
I would love to have a girlfriend,
but alas my wife won’t let me.’
Babies are droolers
Teachers are schoolers
Pitchers are foolers
Lawyers are duelers
Fishermen are spoolers
Faceters are jewelers
Needlers are crewelers
Kids are stoolers
Men are toolers
Women are rulers
Take a look in any jewelers shop
the windows are sparkling so bright
so many jewels so beautifully set
so much coloring ever so light
This is a picture of divine truth
to love it is to receive rich prize
no jewel can compare to it's worth
it shines forth as the son does rise
God displays Himself in all His glory
revealing His divinity in His scripture
there His power is transforming
for it's eternal forever to endure
In this God's salvation plan's revealed
Jesus God's son is our mighty saviour
paying sins price on Calvary's tree
such precious jewel! what a picture!
You are the rarest and the heaviest
Of all our precious metals here on Earth…
Your sisters, Gold and Silver, are stockpiled...
But you are not...in case supply runs low.
To generate one ounce of you we need
Ten tons of ore and five months’ processing.
Outstanding jewelers, like Cartier,
Famed Faberge, plus Tiffany, create
Their jewelry designs in Platinum.
They turned you into lavish settings that
Secure some famous diamonds like the Hope,
Jonker and Koh-I-Noor. Your surface can
Be scratched, but unlike sisters Silver and
Pure Gold, there is no Platinum that’s lost.
You are the rarest and most valued one...
Each year we mine one hundred thirty tons,
To Gold’s one thousand seven hundred plus.
Our Platinum…rare metal of our Earth.

Imagine being a kid
Running for your life
Behind you explodes a bomb
Feet splash in mud,
Diamonds hidden in your teeth
Rightfully yours
This is your home
Everything about this equation is wrong
De Beers
Imagine troops pushing maids carts
Full of Diamonds in a glass case
Your five senses breathe money
Messed up childhood, it's the only love you embrace
All the goats you cut to stash pouches in
It's the bully, the devil coming out from within
The underground tunnels,
The lies you funnel
Paperwork? Straighten collar
Hu Hum, That doesn't exist, grin,
When I walk through the mall
I see jewelers and their prestigious counters
I mind goes to all the kids torn from their parents
Forced into drugs to stay alive
How can anyone be ok with this?
Blood Diamonds will live forever
Too many chose ignorance.
Talking to them about it
All they've got is a blank stare
Spring Jewels
White feather tipped clouds
Design blue skies with a brocade
A coat of many colors nature dons
Her golden locks a Rapunzel’s braid
A braid made from overlays
Of grains and grass slightly curled
Budding plains of fruited beauty
Breathlessly waiting as spring uncurls
Fine china sits midst
A jewel encrusted ridge
Coveted ores and minerals
Build a jewelers bridge
Crimson grows a sunset
Against the aqua skies
Upon morns light spring rides

I love the way you lay hands on me.
Soft, gentle, careful kind but not like
I'm breakable no, more like I'm valuable.
I feel something like a precious stone in
your soft jewelers palms.
I cherish the heat that rises from
your body
That 98.6 degrees of you, the sound
of your heart is my homing signal.
That steady strong thrumming keeps more than you alive.
I love you like a shape shifter,
Id transform for you.
I'd become anything so you could carry me with you always.
When I was still in the company's
rank and file,
my 'rolex perpetual' made people
smirk and smile.
They said I was a victim in a
swindler's deal,
but jewelers' swore my late gramp's
wristwatch was real.
Sold it for a fortune, now I've
become the boss.
For fun, I wear a rolex fake,
but I'm at a loss.
Why, those who taunted me they now
admiringly watch
this cheap thing on my wrist like
it's a fabulous catch!

When I was still in the company's rank and file,
my 'rolex pearl perpetual' made some people smile.
They said I was duped and cooked in a swindler's deal,
but jewelers' swore my late grandpa's watch was real.
They bought it for quite a fortune, I'm now the boss.
For fun, I wear a rolex fake, but I'm at a loss.
Why, those who used to smirk at me enviously watch
this cheap thing on my wrist like it's a fabulous catch !
Chariot trail of
diamonds discerned through a
Jewelers' eyeglass.
