Someday, when our work on earth is done,
When we depart this realm, our days all gone,
When memories and kindness fade away,
And we have soared beyond the mortal fray—
A new realm will unfold before our eyes,
For those who held their faith and stayed wise,
Who planted seeds with honor, steady grace,
Who walked their path with purpose, face to face.
A realm unlike the fleeting life we’ve known,
Where love and peace in endless light have grown,
A life of purity, a life of trust,
Built on the faith we nurtured in the dust.
There we shall live, perhaps return again,
If fate and grace allow that hopeful ken—
A morning we must never jeopardize,
A radiant dawn in paradise.
What can save me
From being sad
Almost every single day
Father can you
Put some happiness
In my life

The speech was reassuring,
The delivery was fine
And only one or two real whackos
Seemed to cross the line.
The commentators noticed that
Republicans all sat,
With stony faces and no clapping
For the Democrat.
In other years, some issues would
Unite the gathered crew,
But here’s my theory – MAGA folk
Are scared of you-know-who.
I wouldn’t be surprised to learn
That some were paid to note
If any “traitors” might have clapped,
For that would get his goat.
And all who weren’t loyal
Would be punished; so, in fear,
They dare not jeopardize the one
Who might end their career.
Look in the mirror what do you see?
The reflection in the mirror doesnt look like me.
A year has passed, and times have changed.
Conquer the fears holding you captive

Try to communicate how you feel
Even if it goes astray some days.
Don't be afraid of the unknown
Thats where growth is found.

You never know when your time will be done.
Never give up on yourself and your dreams.
The smallest flame flickers in the dark.
Cherish relationships along the way,
they all have a lesson in life to play.

Cast thee from all Greed,

Golden bars of shame,
Are worn upon your chest.
Do not curse thy neighbor,
Or covet thee his wife.
Your Lust is seen by all,

Dost thou feel the poison,
Coursing through your veins?
Your eyes are filled with Envy,
Which soils your remains.
Doth thou belly swell?
Your Gluttony is the proof.
We're all watched from afar,
And under one big roof.
Come thee hither now,
Heed thy words profound.
Your Wrath will seal your fate,
And plant you in the ground.
Get thee from thy bed,
Your Sloth will be your ending.
The Judgement will be swift,
No excuse worth defending.
When I look in the mirror, I see my pretty face,
with spots and wrinkles I have not tried to erase.
Fine lines, creases and years of smile lines too,
I am getting older, not youthful, time can be cruel.
My lips are normal shaped and not plumped like balloons,
or resemble floating devices that could float to the moon.
My eyes still sparkle but are showing some slight age,
With the lids a little droopier in my current life stage.
My body still has some muscle but not as toned,
my weight is a constant struggle that I must atone.
I refuse to take drugs to lose weight as a quick fix,
and jeopardize my body with a dangerous chemical mix.
My hair has some greys that are blended with color dye,
I no longer need to make it all invisible to the naked eye.
I wear my age with much confidence, beauty and pride,
and choose not to have plastic surgery as society abides.
How could the eagles soar high
When their wings were ripped before they could even fly?
In a land where conviction is ticket to die,
Sometimes you could not even understand why.
The hopes for a bright tomorrow
Are being bound in chains of sweat and sorrow
Only because of what they follow
Until the land itself becomes hollow.
When will people realize
It's the land that they jeopardize?
Like they're throwing a fated dice
Knowing that it's their own neck that they slice.

The gate made me rush,
my destination was plunder.

helping others.
Unselfish concern for other people,
in the face of scarcity, risky,
without any reward.
Prosocial behavior,
born with a natural tendency,
helping others, forefront of thoughts.
Neural evidence, pure altruism,
against violence, inequality, and oppression.
Nurture the seeds of change,
respect for human life.
When they fragmented,
and socially atomized,
they shape beauty identities.
We in pursuit of
Mortal dreams
Refuse to apologize
For our ambitions
We have not ever
Conceived an inferno

All these spiels and games
Yet another shady deal made
We do not feel the same
Chop you up with steel blades
Your body left in the field decays
I've no interest in starting to kneel and pray
Too many secrets hidden and sealed away
Regardless does time ever truly heal the pain?
It's happened 9 hundred and 11 times
Eventually I had to sever ties
Because it all started to jeopardize
For the longest time I could never find
The way toward a better life
In darkness the sun would hardly ever shine
Until the second I, recognized
That I was being less than wise
So I switched it up and reenergized
Memorize that goonies never say die
Still searching for where the buried treasure lies
Claiming they're legit with fake papers
People always trying to gain favor
No need for a weight trainer
I got to accumulate paper
Still all the snakes and haters
Don't be such a naysayer
Or wait a day later
I'm breaking through the clay layers
Meanwhile life's always throwing out haymakers
How I handle it is a game changer
When in great danger
Found a way in nature
Within eight acres
Many times for others I became a savior
