Premium Member May We Burn It All Down

My mind a cave of favorite characters
And greatest hits
A life time of connections and sidekicks
Frank Zappa plays the soundtrack
In a tumble of tightly compressed acoustic riffs
A genius long gone, but ever present.
When he’s done he says,
In tightly compressed electronic bytes
“May we burn it all down.”
And I wake refreshed
To another day, another dawn.

   The final threshold.
       Death gives a sign,
       uncertainty and unanswered questions.
   A strong and sturdy bridge,
          that many have walked across.

   Listening in the emptiness,
      a harp without strings.
         Emotionally imperfect.

   Words fail,
thoughts and feelings dominate the room.
        ~ without need for description
You have struggled for so long.
Accepting does not refer giving up.

   The thing I never said
          meant nothing,
Words cannot change the course of life.

   A night without a facade,
        reflecting your truth and sagacity.
You do not need to prepare.
Follow the light in soothing peace,
   with unconditional acceptance.

Premium Member Do you know when you get it?

Do you feel it in your spirit?
Whether it’s a gift
an answer to a prayer
or something that only you would know
and God
He is the creator and the fulfiller
All in one
Whatever you need
He is right there
Make a request
Do supplication
Make your wishes known to God
Do you think He already knows it?
Why do You think He wants you to bring it to Him?
To test that you really want it
And it is not something that you just think it
Make your supplications known to Him
Okay?
Did the Bible say that?
Philippians 4:6 (KJV)
“… in everything by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known unto God”
So you see it’s not only me who said that
But God too
thousand years ago
Has it been that long?
Seems like yesterday
Yeah you just read it
Anyhow
Do you believe God answers prayers?
That is for me to know
And for you to find out hehe
Or did you know already?

Premium Member say it like it is

reflections reveal radiance
emanating from deep within
enlivening bliss magnetism
around which polarities spin

tranquil stillness animated
totality capsuled in form
as transmitter and receptor
bilocates in this benign storm

divine bliss beats send a signal
that our essence is living light
whispered wisdom wisening us
drenching us in drunken delight

Premium Member I did it all myself

There was a time when I truly thought you stole,
everything from me
The intense pain reached deeper than anything imaginable
There were so many losses
There were so many lies
There was so much that I couldn't do anything about,
as you went on and on with hurricanes of manipulation and control
It took a long time to learn that this would never change
It took a long time to learn to find my own peace
It took years to overcome the baragment of guilt you put upon me
But I am here now and I will never go back
I see everything that I have, everything I am grateful for
I didn't need you to do a thing; I did it all myself

I CAN'T KEEP IT TO MYSELF

I can't keep it to myself
the values and truths of Christ
I must be vocal and tell of all
He's done in my life

I can't keep it to myself
I must give Him all the praise
The Son of Man
The Great I Am
my Redeemer all the same

I can't keep it to myself
It must be revealed
the miracles He performed
And all those He healed

I can't keep it to myself
I must give Him all the praise
The Son of Man
The Great I Am
my Redeemer all the same

Jesus saved my soul
He dealt with my addictions
Jesus made me whole
lifted me out of my afflictions
Yet He was crucified
Yet for me He died
And I'll speak of Him until my last breath
And His miraculous Resurrection over death

I can't keep it to myself
my Savior. My Messiah my Delight
I will speak His name always
until I no longer have life

I can't keep it to myself
I need the world to understand
That I have to talk about Jesus
The Anointed Son of Man

I can't keep it to myself
I must give Him all the praise
The Son of Man
The Great I Am
My Redeemer all the same

It All Meant Something Once

As this room, Earth life's, dims more
Leaves us, piling up
With too much things boxed, besides
This, junked, abides
In the mind's own storage place.
Old. Wilted, washed out.
Sentiment! Flowery phrased.
Dream world's. Since rased.

Premium Member Cell Phone

The blue waves smack the shore
Outlined by the oaken door.
Stand beside the cypress tree
Throw your arms out to the sea
On a mossy cliffside you can spy
The wheeling curlew, hear it cry.

Smell the cedar in the grove
See grass wave where rover's rove.
Hear the sea gull, feel the wild
White sails on silver, be beguiled.
So far from madness of the city
Cell phone rings, no longer free.

You run inside the cottage door
Find your backpack on the floor
Dig the phone out, as it plays
A ringtone singing "yesterday"
Its Chase bank, with a suspect charge
Ten thousand, that's awful large.

Text message comes from your landlord
Rats with fleas came in a horde
Your boss says he's needs you back soon
Work has come like a monsoon.
You leave the cottage bitterly
But you can't eat the scenery:

Can't throw the cell phone in the sea.
At least you have the memory...

IT IS FINISHED

He died for you and me
His death, a victorious testimony

It is finished. It is finished
Jesus gave His life
It is finished. It is finished
The ultimate sacrifice

Jesus paid It All
He had the receipts
Jesus paid it all
No more spirit of defeat

It is finished. It is finished
Jesus gave His life
It is finished. It is finished
The ultimate sacrifice

It was a proclamation
we've been redeemed
prophecy fulfilled
God intervened
the battle was won
the sentence was served
His mission completed
the resurrection most deserved

It is finished. It is finished
Jesus gave His life
It is finished. It is finished
The ultimate sacrifice

No more suffering
No more sin
His death for us
A triumphant win

Jesus paid It All
He had the receipts
Jesus paid it all
No more spirit of defeat

It is finished. It is finished
Jesus gave His life
It is finished. It is finished
The ultimate sacrifice

It Tickles me

It Tickles Me
By, Fawn P.
September 6th, 2026

Stars dance,
They touch and hold,
They feel, and grab,

They watch the koi fish swim,

The moon is my anchor,
As i swim in the deep,

It’s lights my only guide,
warm yet empty,
It’s grip strong yet, gentle,

Guiding my tail it propels me,

I turn to the wind,
I lean to the smell,

Dust and wax,
Tickle my nose and tongue,

When the songs are soft,
and the world is dimmed,

I lean to the world,
To guide my movements,

Premium Member How Does It Feel?

Blood on your hands
The heart of a killer
Corrupted your senses

How does it feel?

Blue eyes turned red
Vomiting on a pile of leaves
But the trees don't care

So how does it feel?

Trading pearls for ebony
Clutching them no longer makes sense
Because this isn't you

I wonder, how does it feel?

The angels flew away
And even demons grimace
You belong to neither

Pray, tell me how does it feel?

As if it never left

As if it never left

And though your love has departed
and drifts further away with the passing years,
in dreams it remains ever close to you—
as if it were never absent.
In dreams, the past returns;
within the embrace of absence,
the heartbeat echoes more powerfully—
love’s most beautiful resonance,
as if it never fell silent.
And if your love should one day return,
changed by the years spent apart,
never speak to it of your dream—
as if it never left.

Not too many fellow poets read my lines anymore
I’m either rather predictable or a total bore

So, I’ve read the tea leaves; I’ve got to change
My mental approach I need to rearrange

Instead of couplets, should I write sonnets?
Or on every rhyme, put more spin on it?

I’m not sure, but something’s got to give
~ unless with a handful of readers I’m content to live
