In Person she is an Introvert

in person she is an introvert
her writing exposes her hidden hurt
real people do not know or see her
but her writing is honest and pure

Heartfelt feelings on a page to see
more open than any thought she’d be
an introvert in walking talking life
but her writing holds truth like a knife

Mr Introvert

I'm scared to speak, my heart beats fast,
Fear of judgment, fear of being last,
My words get jumbled, my voice does quake,
I'm an introvert, my heart does ache.

When called to speak, I feel like I'm falling,
My words get stuck, my voice keeps calling,
I want to pour out my heart, but I'm afraid,
Of being wrong, of not

The tragedy that is myself

Perhaps I wouldn't move
if the train came.
Not out of courage,
just curiosity.
What does it feel like?
or just the experience, maybe.

I sit down in the shower sometimes
until the water forgets it's warm
and I forget
I have skin.
In that moment,
and that moment only
I think nothing
but oh, I feel-

I feel everything
like a flood, swirling, raging inside,
beating ferociously on the locked

I keep my thoughts locked away.
No one can touch them.
They are mine only. I take no
Risk in sharing with

Very personal feelings. I do not wish
Every one to know me and take no joy in
Revealing myself to
Those who 
Expect to understand my personal
Demons and dilemmas.

    In his future we're like staying in cemetery 
    Softly whispers to the heart,

Who I Am

              I am funny,
        hidden under veils of shyness.
      Many think I'm social and outgoing,
        But I'm an introvert.
  I can be

Desert

I read and meaning escapes me
I ponder my own intellectual ability 

Everything isn’t for everyone
Some love moon others prefer sun

Just as you may love lavender rain
As a release from your poetic pain

I look in the mirror and see 
A reflection of indifference looking at me

Perhaps I really enjoy the friction
The journey more appealing than fruition

Who are you at 72
Still a kid at heart,
Always hopeful, glass half full
Family falling apart.

Politics, wrecked relationships
Breaking ties that bind.
How can we mend our souls
When others are unkind. 

Now I need to hide myself
from all the hurt outside,
Find my way, from this day
and heal the wounds inside.

Inside I’m an emerald empath 
Now I can be myself at home
Teal reveals my polite laugh
Ready to red reveal if not alone
Onyx opinions kept close to chest
Violet dimensions personal preference 
Every party is like a pop test
Rendezvous with raspberry reference
Thankful for small talk and concession

Introspection

Was that me?

from that introvert freak
timid
confused
always trying to please others
so they will not criticize me
coming out of the shell
was so difficult
but
I managed slowly
by
learning new things every day
counting on small achievements
patting my own back
rewarding herself
taking the remote control
of happiness
in my own hands
gaining confidence bit by bit
no more begging for appreciation
no more copying others
no more fear of

Bright Light, Dim Light? DARK!

In the midst of the raging waves,
they watched her gulp the callous cunning darts.
Her crumbly heart cruelly impaled; the fate that enslaves.
So fondly she’d mask the marks.
Her soul would ache and bleed from life’s glaives.
She cried an ocean for redemption from a life perpetually stark.
In desperation, the rope ends it.

With stigma the chums looked in

Have the hard time expressing
