Premium Member Somewhat of a Lone Wolf

Listen to poem:
I’ve become
a hermit
a recluse
an introvert
almost content
in my refuge
in the safety
of my bubble

Premium Member Psychic Lattice

marooned mind
my capricious creation
designs psychic lattice
morphs into innate Narcissus
nestled in introvert isolation
where I am me, aberrant recluse

Premium Member Niche of Secret

A suspicious introvert thought it best
To keep pieces of his life close to chest
She came on a stormy day
Blew wrap of his heart away
In her mind his secrets found niche to rest.

Alone

ALONE
In the dark of times
where I be alone
in agony and sorrow
alone
Not because am a loner
Or an introvert
But because am just alone

I fear
yes I do
but I got know help
I don't have anyone
By my side
Am alone.

Becoming You

Becoming You

If an introvert shed their skin

Would they suddenly become extra

Excell at being themselves

Stride into the middle of conversations

Taking the largest slice of a pie

With no desire to apologize

The Solitary Introvert

What happens, whilst of that fear-rush
Face-blown, if fleetingly, when this
Front door opens?
The mind broadens!

Whose threshold's gain I too weighed.
Inner, outer, secure, insecure
Where, that distant
Worlds meet; two. Pant.

Thinking Alone Leaving Nothing Behind

I am not an 'introvert' by any means,
I just think that the presence of me alone,
Only with me and my mind,
Is the greatest, and nothing greater can be created
for me,
Thinking, alone, will allow me to leave,
leave nothing behind

Premium Member The Recluse

In marooned mind shaped in webbed design
the strands of psychic hues are patterned.
In its fold rainbow secrets lie
as captive of my own making,
turning into Narcissus in introvert insight,
where I’m with me as an aberrant recluse.

Premium Member Reticence

perched on the branches
of a high verdant tree
an introvert savours silence ~
his inquisitive mind flies
on the wings of fantasy

My Self

An Astonishment...
A Dispute between,
My mid and conscience

Yielding me to astray,
Annoyed my studies,
Twenrty-Four hours daily...

When?, Where? do myself retrieves,
Condemned as an introvert,
That Holds my prosperity?

Extrovert and Introvert

You are the extrovert
And I, the introvert
So, what can I do
In order to win you
Should I subordinate
Or should I dominate

I really don't know for sure
But I do know my love is pure
So it should do no harm
To use all of my charm
To lure you
I adore you

Premium Member Introvert

I want to stay inside
No need to open up
That would risk my peace of mind
Remember my safe place is enough
Only need a paper and pen
Verses on a pc if able
Emerald eyes every now and then
Reading writing no cable
Time passes me indeed in my introverted dream

~ I, an introvert...

                           found comfort being alone -

your love ... ruined that ~

The Introvert

Solitude is my greatest comfort
Privacy is my haven

In loneliness I find solace
In stillness I dull my pains

Quietness gives me hope
Silence inspires me

In my fortress of isolation
I can be all I want to be

I am an introvert
And I'm strong when I'm alone and free

If Only I Could Take You On a Tour To Where I Live

If only I could take you on a tour
To the worlds that my brain has built
And show you the lives I live
The colors I paint my walls with
The stories I draft on my brain cells
The places I travel to
And the places that I create inside it
Would you have understood me, maybe.

The Shy Introvert

Hardest to reach type.
As self effacing
Dimmest, deadest hideaway place
Lives as deep within.

Unvoiced, as leaves shut
True feelings, a door.
Eyes'shutters, whilst across them pass
Quick frights' silhouettes
Its outlook betrayed, whilst crass besets
His world's, a world for.

Kara

A whispering soul,
Drapes herself on my shoulders,
Words like searing coals,

Welcome company,
A sought after escape from,
Life's monotony,

In her warmth comfort,
In her eyes understanding,
For this introvert,

Cautiously listen,
Docile with unknown intent,
Angel and vixen.

Premium Member In Person she is an Introvert

in person she is an introvert
her writing exposes her hidden hurt
real people do not know or see her
but her writing is honest and pure

Heartfelt feelings on a page to see
more open than any thought she’d be
an introvert in walking talking life
but her writing holds truth like a knife

Inside I’m an emerald empath
Now I can be myself at home
Teal reveals my polite laugh
Ready to red reveal if not alone
Onyx opinions kept close to chest
Violet dimensions personal preference
Every party is like a pop test
Rendezvous with raspberry reference
Thankful for small talk and concession

Premium Member Introverted

Introverted

I keep my thoughts locked away.
No one can touch them.
They are mine only. I take no
Risk in sharing with
Others my
Very personal feelings. I do not wish
Every one to know me and take no joy in
Revealing myself to
Those who
Expect to understand my personal
Demons and dilemmas.

Introverts Are Best

An introvert by birth,
I cannot talk for
I don't know what to talk.
I find nothing worthy of being talked.

Wanted to change myself...

Now I love my nature!

Most talkative persons are repetitive.

Talks can be misunderstood.

They can hurt emotions,
drain away lot of time and energy

Premium Member Inside Out

An introvert in isolation

Talked to fairies in desperation

Not even quit faint

So neighbours complained

Called Police for incarceration

An extrovert shut up and inside

Climbed into tupperware as his guide

Held in detention

He gained contention

But then the lid was dissatisfied

Unleashed

Adventurous spirit within an introvert
No longer can they contain the animal
To be hidden in captivity no more
Scaring those who thought they knew the real individual
Unfamiliar to friends and associates who observe this unforeseen behavior
The explosion is the manifestation of destiny
The future is bound to be epic
