THE INSURRECTION OF THE ENTRAILS

I live trapped in a basket of predators,
their skulls crammed with futile idleness.
They celebrate misery like a morbid feast,
with the suicidal arrogance of heirs to nothingness.

The flames of humanity have burned away
in the abyss of their barren souls.
They worship the anarchy of weapons,
I see nothing but fields of ruins.

Their battles are the masquerades of capital,
poverty spreads across the Earth like a plague,
and the closeness of deprivation becomes a nightmare.

I spit upon their rotten idols,
those false sanctities with profaned orifices.
I have piled up sins to taste the ecstasy of raw freedom.

Born from the wounded entrails of the Third World,
I refuse to bow before the putrefaction of consumerism.
Free from the origin, yet prisoner of a banana republic
delivered to the savage plunder of predatory empires.

I fight my demons in the trenches of the mind
to adorn my reality with fleeting mirages of this convulsive world.
They consign me to the dungeons of their alienation,
but I rise, insurgent against their servitude.

Premium Member Our Time to be Heroes

As the fires burn up our forests
and the deadly floods ravage our earth
All the traitors inside of the WH
give America new fascist birth

Our brothers and sisters patrol us
with the weapons of war that we made
As the songs they once sang about honor
about freedom and liberty, fade

They are building an army against us
search for people of color to blame
Armed with weapons of war in our cities
hidden faces are proof of their shame
As Republicans lie to the people
some reporters reply with a wink
And the viewers are all left to wonder
what was truth, what was lie, what to think

This is now a complete insurrection
being led by commander in chief
And the GOP Sedition Party
falls on all like a blanket of grief

We must all tow the line for our freedom
march together and then stand as one
It is now our time to be heroes
show the world how democracy’s won

Premium Member MAGA Deep

They idolize a villain with no integrity.
A conman void of honor and filled with misery.

A man who cares for no one, each sentence ends with me.
For this, the MAGA cult, will give-up sweet democracy.

Uneducated, ignorant, they’ll reap all that they sow.
A life without the Courts and laws they all have come to know.

The weapons which they cherish would be a memory.
The Constitution and Amendments, gone with history.

‘Free Speech’ would be forbidden, for only tyrants speak.
The free Press would be silenced, our future, sad and bleak.

They take for granted freedoms they’ve had since they were born.
To honor a false idol who lives inside his storm.

And that which made them human is somehow sadly gone.
No empathy or sympathy, just angry MAGA pawns.

Now some are on a mission for a cure to this disease.
To date, it is elusive, like the wind inside the trees.

Premium Member Insurrection - 2021

Although we had feared it,
we watch in disbelief,
our country’s Capitol,
symbol of democracy,
invaded by those wishing
to overturn the government.

Throngs of seditionists in
MAGA hats clog the streets
Of Washington, DC,
The likes of which we
have not seen except in
third world countries.

Frightened residents
have boarded up
and huddle in their homes,
fearing the worst.
Members of Congress,
blockaded in the Capitol,
wearing gas masks.

Police, park police, and
National Guard overwhelmed,
crying out for more help.
No military help available
because the military
must be called out
by the president, who is
himself a traitor to his country
and is encouraging the mob.

Seditionist Senators cower,
perhaps wondering what
they have unleashed.
Civil War II looms,
election results in chaos,
interrupted by the riots.
Where will it end?
Will our country ever
be the same again?

Premium Member Stormy Who

Do you care about Stormy who or
any one else Trump stuck it to?
Keep the focus on his worse transgression,
the 1-6th insurrection.
Do you need to know with whom Trump cohorts?
Why spend the money and tie up our courts?
Trump was elected as our President
and with little experience to the White House he went.
A game show host which was quite absurd.
When will people stop talking about this tweety bird?

Insurrection

Insurrection hearings are here
Over 20 million viewers
Hoping indictments will appear
For all of the evil-doers.
Government coup
What can we do?

Waiting for action for a year
Riots, liars, MAGA spewers.
Give them their due, and shed not a tear;
Prosecute all the wrongdoers.
Jail him post-haste
Trump, piece of waste.

Premium Member Traitors' Insurrection

This wasn’t any lawful, peaceful protest,
Nor a rational expression of free speech.
It was one nation under siege by misguided,
Manipulated puppets under 45’s direction.

Every MAGA hat-wearing oath keeper proud boy,
All those angry white thugs in tactical vests,
And every other rat domestic terrorist
Committed treason, clear at first inspection.

There’s no excusing violence and vandalism.
No patriotic warrant to condone.
To attack the institution of the US Constitution,
It was nothing less than traitors’ insurrection.

Insurrection Or Not This Looks Really Bad

They shout hatred as blood flows
through veins full of rage and madness;
they fly the red white and blue
as lunatic rogues at the helm
rouse and incite flames of dormant lunacy
to claim a nation from under its democracy

well thought out? it seems not
but well suited for a carnival of insanity
for the whole world to see.

Insurrection!! shouts the Left
not so fast says the Right
let’s pretend this never was
But what’s a nation to do?
these aren’t foreign dissidents
penetrated unto our soil
but a homegrown bunch empowered
with guns, might and rights too
this creates far more danger
than ISIS could ever do.

How can it be; this country we love
harboring a homegrown enemy
defined in terror under the guise of the flag
and rights to Amendment Two
an entity if left to grow
shall cut off the neck of a country
once powerful and strong
now divided unto itself in two
an era that will fester like an open sore
if not soon put back together
will live with chaos for ever more
bring shame to a nation once highly exalted
why risk that—now or ever?

Let’s not forget how the world sees us matters
Let’s aim for humanity not disparity.

Premium Member Breaking Up Is Hard To Do

Don - they tell me you're leaving
I can't believe it's true,
that we’ll get to live without you.

You’ll go away - govern-mentally,
after all this pain and misery.
When you go - I won’t miss you,
You never said a thing that was true.

Remember when - you hoaxed the virus fight.
What an idiot - you never got it right.
Trump never cared - for me or you,
but we might survive now that he's through.

So let’s discuss - the insurrection -
you provoked when you lost the election.
You got impeached for time number two
who said breaking up was hard to do?

Let’s say goodbye - and let it be,
I hear you’re going to do - Trump TV?
About the time you get that set up,
New York will come and lock you up.

There once was a king who told lies,
like a moth chasing gaslight they rise,
ever drawn to the flame,
unaffected by shame,
true democracy labors and sighs.

Respect

The guard at the door said,
“I don’t agree with you, but I respect you,”
As he let the insurrectionists in.

Did he respect the fear they brought
To those who were at work inside?
Did he respect the taking down of
The American flag to fly the flag
Of a would-be king?

Did he respect the breaking of windows,
The crushing of a fellow guard?
Did he respect the trash and filth,
The urine and feces left behind?

Did he respect the man with zipties at the ready?
Those who openly called for the Vice-President,
Seeking him out to do him harm?

Just what did he respect about those
He let walk past?
I fear we’ll never know,
And I also fear we will…

Cup Cake Insurrection

Cup Cake Insurrection

Evidence mounts as cup cakes bake in ovens
Camouflaged in chocolate brown
Revolutions start this way they say
Secured, metallic ready in tin pans waiting
375 degrees transformed
To something spongy to the touch
Perhaps we are over thinking this too much
Cup cakes are not the enemy, not out to get us
No one ever died of deliciousness I trust
Only a few pounds gained from wolfing down too many
Rising up while baking is not an uprising or revolt I'm told
They don't carry concealed weapons to my recollection
Or topple monarchies or kill government officials… I think
Topped with sugar icing, colorful sprinkles, innocent and happy
Deep inside I suspect strange things are happening
Cup cakes baked outside our country
Come here with unknown ingredients
Want citizenship with no visas
It is hard to keep the peace with foreign recipes
Cup cakes don't really understand our ways
While baking in tin pans
