Neurodivergent Rogue One

Neurodivergent Rogue One

Rouge as one, on a solo run.

From glossy glades to mossy mountains.

From treeman to technoman

From trycore to hardcore.

From wet streets to dirt drifts.

From urchin to fortune.

From chaos evil to chaos

From inconvenience to ingenuous.

From arteriovenous to intravenous.

From keeping thyme to literal flow of rhyme.

dashing prancer to dancing lancer.

From the A to the One I am the Rogue One.

Premium MemberPersevere In Writing Your Poems My Friends

Express yourselves unabashedly my friends
Because no one can honestly give you a grade
Write your poems with your own hands
Make them natural, beautiful and homemade.

Don’t worry about foes, faux, aliens and others
Just do what you need to do my friends
To find good, fair, impartial or sagacious readers
Be creative or innovative to embark on your own trends.

All poems are important, relevant and famous
All poems are born from a particular or divine inspiration
Be bold, brave, controversial, generous and ingenuous.

Bias exists even in literary art poetry. Ignore the laughs
Continue writing. This world is full of odds, hurdles and gaffes
Be happy! It’s needless to yearn for a standing ovation.

P.S. This poem is dedicated to my friend, Juan Felix Of Orlando and others.
Juan, I wish you a speedy recovery. You're in my thoughts, prayers and poems.

Anything Built On Sand

It's so fragile, stately and tall...
standing alone in the middle
of the dry sand so brittle;
a puff of wind can make it fall!

The whiff of rain
is carried by the vagrant clouds,
build it, boy with quick hands;
it's already sundown!

It's the ingenuous creation
of the smallest castle;
what a perfect imitation...
giving it an image too humble!

Ah, know before hand
anything built on sand
will soon end up into the roaring sea:
waves are cruel, they accept no plea!

Premium MemberThe Question That Stumped Einstein

One day while working in his lab, Einstein was teaching his student
The student was in awe of the brilliance of the genius
The youngster had an idea he thought to be prudent
Trying to outwit Einstein, one might say...to be ingenuous

The youngster made a bet, declaring to pay five dollars if he couldn't figure out the answer to Einstein's question
But if Einstein couldn't answer his question, he would pay him five hundred dollars

"Bet on" replied Einstein

So, Einstein asks the youngster a question he couldn't possibly answer
The youngster reaches in his pocket and gives him five dollars

That was a question that only a great mind as yours would be able to answer

But let me ask you... what has three legs, runs up a mountain...and comes down with five legs?

Einstein is puzzled and could not answer the question- so he reaches in his pocket and gives the youngster five hundred dollars

After giving him the money Einstein asks the youngster- "so what is the answer to the question"

Smiling happily, the youngster reaches in his pocket and gives Einstein another five dollars

Premium MemberAs I Dream

The night you left with our love's withered flower,
the gloomy sky was falling down in strong shower.
In the soft streetlight I saw your sodden silhouette
disappear behind the rain screen, I couldn’t forget.

The scene got trapped in the maze of my memory,
weaved for years the tapestry of our untold story.
I thought someday I’d unfold it in my poem new,
the only one I’d dedicate to our times and to you.

Memory has an ingenuous habit of making dream,
appearing in vista of sleep, unreal they don’t seem.
One night my eyes on edge of siesta see you return,
the way you departed, made my mute heart churn.

I open the door to let you in to embrace you again
in the desolate dark night , pierced by pouring rain.
I stand alone hit by the splashes of cold water spray,
as I dream I hold you in my arms, won’t let you stray.

Water peeps, first; seeps in then; flows fluently fast,
Fills the courtyard; gets into our homes; pools unasked;
Checks the shelves and cupboards; as though a C.I.D,
Or authorized Income-Tax Officer on raid...!

Knees-level; we look through windows; Water! Water!
Huts half-sunk; trees river-engulfed; liquid terror!
Breeze, as though annoyed, howls, prowls, blows tempestuous!
Humbly break and fall boughs of trees ingenuous...!

Snakes, centipedes, millipedes, poisonous lizards,
Congregate as per species; torment as hazards;
Electric lines broken; communication blocked,
We find ourselves in lone islands; existence shocked...!

Rays of hope within, yet, in corners of heart, glows,
We all start helping each other; breeze of love blows;
Floating trunks turn lifebuoys, saving the drowning,
Amid flood, meaning of life turns as life-giving...!

Premium MemberThe Glory of Childhood

Childhood, the glory of pure innocence
A boon blessed by His omnipotence
Nonpareil and priceless gift to a child
Like a lamb delicate, gentle and mild.

An endless and inexhaustible bliss
A gifted phase that one should never miss
Immaculate souls of cute juveniles
Where He finds Himself in their beaming smiles

Icons for ingenuous happiness
Blossoming little hearts with loving kindness
Unstained with the impurities of world
Let the petals of dreaming buds unfurled.

Never sketch thy huge plans for their future
Let them grow under the blue in nature
Never take their childhood in to thy hand
Let them have bliss of heaven on this land.

Tear-Tainted Sail

In the beginning this boat was bare,
Greenest with infant's sinless stare;
Before soles more selfish than sane
Had trodden its dreary derelict main.

First to blacken its still-tiptop form
Were kith and kin as is sin's norm;
For if brother Cain won't Abel kill,
Which other bloodier maniac will?

Then hopped wild neighbors' feet
Onto this boat's floor sterile neat;
And like schythes thrust to the hilts,
Hurt this bud that yet writhing wilts.

Nor were classmates' limbs and toes
Any kinder to this vessel's prior woes;
Hasty to sprain its ingenuous naiveté,
Sterner kilning did than fire dealt clay.

There finally was that first-ever flame,
Wooled to the wrist like a mild dame;
Which vulpine swill in flannels guised
Took I, and at last this boat capsized!

Lost in garnet glow, within crimson shadows,
eyes in you see continence, bold, unerring;
where, in truth, ingenuous virtue harbors.
I see you sleeping.

Yet, unbidden innocent thoughts turn rancid,
craving hunger, withering dreams of honor.
Cold in lust are fantasies born from sorrow,
driveling sorrow.

Ice envelops spurious hearts when love wilts.
Passion's roses, petalless, lie infertile,
endless waiting, hopelessly, always waiting
love to now answer.

Dream in gentle slumber of sweetened ardor;
for, in you is virtuous faithful rapture.
Sentimental visions of love remains, as
virginal hearts throb.

Up On the Verandah

UP ON THE VERANDA

Up on back veranda
Near the old wooden steps,
Looking out to milking shed
Old Ma Stewart sat alone in her chair,
Rocking ever so gently,
Not a sound originated,
Her gaze fixated
To the ground in front.
Old Ma Stewart
Was one not to mess about,
When it came to
Getting things done
On her own accord,
And this was the case,
And the case in being,
Was what underneath
And beneath her feet?
She had seen it go there and under
Three mornings ago,
Then Old Ma Stewart in the ways
Of ingenuous country folk,
Had placed a saucer of milk
Next to wooden veranda steps,
And each morn as the brute
Came out to drink,
And to lick its lips,
Not ever noticing saucer
A little further out each day,
And on the fourth morn;
Old Ma Stewart gently
Rocked back and forth,
Her saucer of milk in place,
Then as the brute
Came out and about
Looking forward for another feed,
And at the moment of licking lips
Olde Ma Stewart SPRANG!
And she wasn’t going to miss
Lopping off with shovel
This mongrel’s head.
And the head
Of this black six-foot monster,
Now in victory
Hanging on the fence;
Next to shearing shed.

Intricate dull summer, autumn's scourge,
Dog day noons, sultry dusk undress the night,
Mirage, sweaty foreheads entertain an oasis,
Rise of Fall, leaves, plot ere barked disguises,
Autumn's quarrels, chartreuse hawks verdant green hue,
Spar shades, tones, pigments re, imagination,
Expelled from hold, abandon o'er cold,
Huddled neath shedding sunshades,
Sun pierced, stains owned ardor brown,
Wrinkled facing fertile lengthened passage,
Refreshed, sprouts anew,
Laments a stabled tree near a rippling brook,
Transpires driven, meaning sustained, neath or aloft,
Gravitation charters its progress,
Ingenuous source served natural throat that thirsts beyond,
Prompt wintry ice, obscure its way, not bar its exemplary flow,
Gratification expounded, outpours inside the expanse,
Breeding fluidity, according to varied species of life on Terra.

Old Fogies: Part I

During the day
there's a deceptive lull
in the staid common parlor
when the home seems deadly dull

Stale air, disinfectant and potpourri
stirred only by the worried, hurried strides
of harried nurses down hectic halls
stuffy efficiency personified

In contrast to those, the steady repose
of regular residents
dressed up and posed
as odd antique mannequins
in fusty old clothes
like some bizarre storefront
window display

Obsolete, old folks
like aged birds perch
lean and lurch
awkward and angular
nodding and napping
half-waking, flapping
on various arm chairs

Others like basset hounds
lay the room 'round
eyes shut, drooping jowls
intermittent gentle growls
little subtle snores
comfy and carefree
bodies drowsily draped over
the sides of settees

Insensible to sound
and drooling a bit
sweetly sleeping all throughout
like innocent toddlers
with cookie-smeared faces
ingenuous and
all played out

Then eventually, nursing staff
bustles them awake
for activities, dinner
more medicines to take...
Then off to bed
as visitors leave
deluded and deceived
thinking that's all there is
pitiful old people, tragically perceived

O, Basilisk keeping across the unsinkable surface of water,
desperately fleeing the terrible hunger of monstrously ravenous mouths,
supported by ripples of light,
as adrenaline, faith and delight appear to allow the impossible task of traversing the river of night, as the bluegills below the remarkable sight of a lizard escaping a death of forsaken repose effervesce with a watery awe,

is an ingenuous talent as yours unremittingly earned?
