Angola Silence (Renku)

In a silent mood
Await the pure white horses
To draw the carriage

Someday comes my turn
Laid amidst the other graves
Angola will reign

Carry a brother
Dispense final dignity
In this place of pain

Prisoner

Don’t think too hard.
They sting behind your eyes.
Sharp swells
from the recessing snake pit.

Faces warp, wrap, and real.
Knotted limbs
of trying tapestry.
The marriage of scale and skin.

Remember to forget.
My soul was not to keep.
A window woe.
Through eyes not mine, I see.

Take from me
what was yours already.

Prisoner.

Time lost is actually time stolen

He was barely an adult when he was entered into the system
He was an educated law abiding citizen
But due to the fact he was black
It was sympathy they lacked
He faxed a lifetime of imprisonment
And an impending death penalty
All because he was at the wrong place at the wrong time
His only crime
Was being

Ink's Imprisonment

Dark drops held in well,
Yearning for the open page,
Stories wait release.

Imprisonment of imagination

Generational Curses-
generational bloodline plagues casted as illusions of
self deceptions, which cause the inability to
use imagination to create own desires, due to
embedded trauma.

Sometimes we choose to continue and carry the
ancestral pain unknowingly to justify our inherited behaviors
learn to create what makes us happy/healthy/joyful
not reliving ancestral trauma.

Heal to imagine
heal to create
heal to free

February 21 Relationship to God Bible Meditations

Loki's Lament and Curse Part 1 By Thomas Laufey

loki:
For nine nights only your own will had bound you
to the World ´s Tree, you treacherous God,
while I wore a chain that I chose not, forever:
With cruel fetter my freedom you took!"

Odin:
"Too cunning and unpredictable you were, too wild to roam free:
Greater your strength and hunger in magick and in power
Then even my own,

Imprisonment

He used to stand for peace,
For love, for joy, for happiness. But now…
He sits in silence, blankly staring…
At this emotional mess,
Angrily failing love’s test,
Falling deep into nothingness.
You’re consumed with fear, with despair,
With grief…
You can’t even look in the mirror,
Cause all you see is disbelief.
So disappointed in yourself,
You stop caring,
For your open health….
So you take all

Shared Love

She shared her love

He gave her his blessings

And she respected him for this

Released not Imprisoning

Escape not needed

Love he knew, she needed more

Open heart and mind he had,

Vicariously he felt her passion

Everything she shared with him.

Self Imprisonment

SELF IMPRISONMENT
by
JOHN M. ARRIBAS

There Is One Thing of Which I’m Sure
A Self Imposed Guilt Has No Cure
One Can Not Carry the Burdens of Fate
On the Shoulders of a Surviving Mate
We All Could Have Been a Better Person
Self Imposed Guilt, an Unmerited Burden
Loss of Peace, Waste of Precious Time
To Feel Guilty, When There is No

Free From Imprisonment

crossing
threshold
stepping
beyond
closed
door
sneaked
through
the small
creak that
exists
pushed way
back inside
pushed way
back into the
room were the
memories of
the past reside
in order to unchain
the love from it's
imprisonment

Clock Imprisonment

The time has melted the construct of its clock
Time is now free to terrorize the unexpected
Sudden deaths and severe illnesses as a result of its vengeance
Trapped no more, time turns to no specific rhythm
Unpredictable, it is feared by those who count its existence
Today is already tomorrow, the same as last week

Paul and Silas's Imprisonment

The Philippi rulers had Paul and Silus beaten, imprisoned and their feet clamped into the stocks.
Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises to The Lord continuously after the cell was locked.
But at midnight the prisoners bonds were unfastened when the foundation started to shake.
This happened because God caused an earthquake.
The jailer feared the rulers because

Wrongfull Imprisonment

Wrongful Imprisonment

I am bowing again, in prison, no advocate to plead my case;
Forcefully constrained: by years and years of hardship and lack.
Believing, this was meant to be; this was all I was meant to be;
Who will render help to me? Who will compassionately deliver me?
Who!?! Who will relieve me of these chains? Who
