Premium MemberCold Glass of Lemonade On a Horribly Hot Day N Night-

Oh! lemonade I shall drink you tonight
On this so heated hot hot scorched so night
Invade my scorching body temperate I
Always dreaming about you at luncheons noon
.
Let me compare you to a drink Cafe
cold breeze flaps the pleasing dancers of May

Ice cubes in my glass glistening it cries
Ah! gulp, gulp, gulp down my parched throat so soon
~
Drink is now gone I have swallowed so up
Whole fresh-made lemonade icing last cup

A Horribly Deep Rest

A horribly deep rest
awaits for those depressed.

So Horribly Sad

Sifting Through Loss

My dad left this world,
And it kept all his possessions

I'm forced to go through all his belongings
Every box is heartbreaking
The memories are so close

I'm the only child of an only child
My dads life in boxes, I can't believe
I wasn't ready for him to leave
All I can do is stare a the boxes piled

His shoes, his drawings
Everything's here except him
It's so personal
I feel like I'm bleeding tears
I feel so horribly sad

A Prank That Went Horribly Wrong

A man became CEO of a corporation, that was his job.
He became a millionaire and that turned him into a snob.
He bragged because he had several million dollars in the bank.
He needed to be taken down a peg so we decided to pull a prank.
My friend and I put a dead rattlesnake in his briefcase.
When he opened it, we wanted to see the look on his face.
When he saw the snake, he collapsed and died of a heart attack.
Our prank went horribly wrong and I'd give anything if we could take it back.
We didn't want him to die, that was something that we sure didn't intend.
Now we can't forgive ourselves because we caused a life to come to an end.

(This is a fictional poem.)

Horribly Hot

Many things to myself I have thought

Here in Carolina it is so horrible hot

Yet humming birds still come to out door

Looking for food and trying to seek more.

Have spent all of my money and am broke

And someday soon I will eventually croak

Lots of things I will have left behind

Within sight or may be hard to find.

Look for a long time and try and see

If there was someone following me

To heaven when I was on a true course

And behind will never leave any remorse.

So happy on earth my wife still will stay

Then here in heaven she'll be here one day;

We will look behind and take one long last

Look at all that had happened in our past.

Premium MemberPerfect Outfit Gone Horribly Wrong

Ready to go trick or treat
Disguised in attire I hit the street
I was the helpful nurse
With medicine to disburse
His eye on me, he fell over his feet

So there he lay, flat on his face
Another medical case
Everyone looked at me
The nurse wanna be
Needless to say I wish for hidden space

So instead of trick or treat
I ended up on a whole different beat
Next to a hospital bed
Having to hold his hand instead
And I didn’t even get a sweet
