The thread that holds though time has flown,

With a gentle hand,
You balance the world while its feet are still untried…
little fingers twist like seashells
around the promise of tomorrow.

Love is gentle in this place;
it hides within a cradle song,
a steady thrum of trust
leaning into your heart.

Every touch becomes a promise
each embrace a refuge -
showing the fragile ones
that gentleness carries power.

When the lullabies grow

hope hushed

bound by doubt, I stood there amidst the bluebells
watching where she'd been but a moment sooner
dusk to come, her breath hanging like the
       shadows
she, thus departing

on my tongue, sweet words melted soft and
       tender
all those daring, romantic thoughts I'd gathered
passion dreams that longed

Cause You're Mine

In youthful bloom, I once did shine,
A beauty radiant, a heart so divine.
My laughter echoed, my smile so bright,
A joyous spirit, a love so light.

But time and life, they took their toll,
And changes came, my form began to unfold.
The mirror reflects a different face,
A woman worn, with a weary pace.

Your words, they cut, a painful

My dear eagle,
I do not abhor you, though I may have spat your name with bitter curses

We are bound in the same chains
Just because you do not struggle
Because you cannot feel them bite against your neck
Does not mean they are not there

You think you are like them because you fly
You think you are closer to

a single spark can light the darkest night,

Time Cures

Time cures most everything
And helps to heal the breaks,
But shortages of resources
Tense and test the zeal,
Creating less of what time makes
And more for it to heal.

This immense pain in my chest

		Hatred, Corruption and Destruction at my helm
