Premium Member My Fair-Haired Maiden

Fair maiden with the locks of molten gold,
Whose gentle grace doth make the sun seem dim,
No earthly treasure that the heavens hold
Can match thy virtue, pure in every limb.
Thine eyes, like morning dew upon the rose,
Do awaken all my spirit with delight;
When darkness falls and all the world doth close,
Thy shining tresses guide me through the night.
Sweet lady, let my humble heart draw near,
To tender thee a vow that shall endure;
Through every changing season of the year,
My love for thee abides forever sure.
No fleeting time can fade thy radiant hair,
Nor dim the sweet perfection of thy face;
For God hath framed no creature half so fair,
Nor crowned a maiden with so bright a grace.

The artist is absent, I guess I killed her off

The artist is absent, i guess i killed her off. Built her, just to break her- like a ceramic cup in the decor. A sway and the pieces fall, broken down in chunks of her pain. In the story of everything, the art suffers- tight ship, bad weather- nothing helps. There's no shore to go to. You stay with the wind, flock with the waves like a clueless bird, hoping someday you'll reach a comfort of a place you get to call home. I didn't feed her soul- with words full of love, hate, sad, happy- all she can feel is a hole, in her life where the content used to be. Where the quill-and-ink rested along with a page, ready to be scribbled, ready to be filled with her mind's rage. The ink bleeds once or not at all. It's tiring, having to walk in the spring season, fresh air, new hopes different dreams and yet feeling like the fall.
Every step she takes, every mistake she makes, all the roadblocks that make her feel nothing at all. Carnations over her gazettes, no scriptures, no memories to recall. It has faded into nothing yet she bleeds it somehow. The writer is absent, I think I've killed her off. Clueless in her own world somehow.

Premium Member "When A Name Becomes A Cage"

A name can feel heavy
Before you ever mention it.

Some names carry rooms
You never meant to dwell in.

A name can imitate until you
Forget your own voice.

Some lock behind you like a
Door you didn't restrict.

Some names carry rooms
You never meant to live in.

And still, you wear them
Because someone handed

Them to you.

Some lock trailing you like a
Door you didn't close.

One day you discern the metal
Shift.

And still, you wear them
Because someone handed

Them to you.

One day you hear the metal
Shift.

One day you step out
Leaving the cage open
Behind you.

If Only

I want to tell her how I feel
But I don’t know what to say
I’m confused if I have the slightest will
For sure I know she will be bae
I love her so much my chest hurts

Knowing this why even bother
The love for her could be seen on my shirt
Needing her to understand im not here to smother
Glowing skin, golden hair in locks nothing I can stop
But why would I; if it’s beautiful to me

I would love her till I rot
This life with her I want and need it to be
She is my motivation and my righteous spirit
Makes me strong and more confident by the day
As beautiful and smart as she is she deserves every merit

I love her in every way
One day we’ll be one of the same mind
Never feeling hurt again especially this time

Letter to Mi Amor

She's magnificently lovely
She's like wine;so fine
Her love sweeter like the grapes from the vineyard
Her touch ignites and blazes up like an inferno
She's the mistress and master of affection
She's a doctor;stitches me up when am broken,Injects me with compassion when am depressed and puts me to bed on her bed of roses
She knits gowns of hope and leather jackets of passion
She knits armors of hope for the knights during combat
She chose me,I chose her
Together we'll walk out of the maze of bricks and thorns to the chamber of destiny.

Premium Member your voice trails behind me

your voice trails behind me
lost in the shadows of the hallways
silence amidst the din of existence
colors hold no warmth
dawn only brings time moving
watching the children in the park
lost in the joy of playground entertainment
the future has a secure ambiance
a smile wanders across my face
it is a painting hanging in a gallery
your voice trails behind me
lost in the shadows of the hallways
there are no real mysteries to life
only answers in the cauldron
then you walk into the room
and the enchantment in life returns
as Van Morrison wrote
have I told you lately, i love you
conveys the deepest love we share
the breath of Creation

A Lone Red Rose

I brought a lone red rose for you today.
I thought not to bring a glass and water.
We do not have much time here anyway.
I guessed it would be wise not to bother.

You would not want to pack a dozen more.
It would be a waste to leave them behind.
A bundle is often is hard to adore.
A rose by herself will forever shine.

I set the rose on the empty table
To lay alone with a simple grace.
It is the only way I am capable
Of giving your heart the proper embrace.

I brought a rose to celebrate your birthday.
As the years pass, I come to love you so.
The rose is a gift in my humblest way,
To return the love you have always shown.

Premium Member Come Home To Me

When I awoke this morning
My love you weren't here
I doubt you ever do return
That is what I truly fear

If only you'd come home to me
I'd hold you dearly in My embrace
Kiss you softly on your forehead
And wipe the tears from your face

I've already forgiven you for leaving
I hope that you can forgive me
I pushed you away with my temper
This is my fault anyone can see

But I realized your love is better
Then getting loud to have control
There will be no more outburst
Think of all the happiness they stole

The air in my lungs is less important
Then you being here in my life
I'm sorry for every tear you cried
I'll be a better husband for you my wife

To Dear Simar on her birthday

Adorable, charming,
sweet mesmerising smile,
Familiar grace,
twinkle in dreamy eyes;
Essence of wisdom,
unfolding humour,
You subtly touched
our longing heart;
Our son’s cherished soul,
You became our daughter
from the very start.

Watching you together
brings us joy,
For in your happiness
our hearts abide.
O’ dear Simar…
Treasure our love
endless unseen, crystal pure,
Feel in inner sanctum,
realm of myriad realisms;
Soft as mist of rain,
tranquil as moonshine,
Heavens will fall
as you requite.

On this special day,
beneath the birthday skies,
May the eloquent elixir
flow deep to marrow,
Abundance embrace
through dusk and dawn,
Wherever life may take
you both to roam,
May love and laughter
always lead you home.

We raise a toast
to this beautiful day,
To the lovely soul
who lights our way;
May your every dream
each wish come true,
How blessed we are
that life brought us you.

New Born

New Born
By Frank Daub

Putting up the wash – Again
one wooden clothes pin gripped
tightly
in her lips. On toe-tips; blonde hair wind-whipped
dangling in her eyes.
The sun an apricot surprise
on the back of her legs.
All busy hanging clothes
and
Watching in the yard to see the baby lulling in the doze
	Of May.
My perennial loving Guard.

She longs to be a wife

Too stubborn to be unhappy
Hair uncombed presently nappy
Sample naturally beautiful
Spirit of God in her suitable

Behold the beauty of God in her
Outside esthetics Not true to her
Beauty isn't the eye of the beholder
And in her spirit , soul and heart ,
eYe behold her

The eyes of God behold her

Premium Member Lay Her Among the Lilies

Our mama, my woman is gone,
Gone home to be with the lasses.
Free from the pains of the masses.
We laid her among the finest of lilies,
She is the finest we have ever known.
Our mama was very stern with the rod
And with the Word.
Her heart was always full of tough love.
It is this tough love that has turned us to be;
Who we are yesterday, today and tomorrow.
We acknowledge you yesterday today and always;
As the best mother, we had, our love has no bounds.
We lay a wreath of lilies on your grave stone beloved.
