Inner Child

You're never too old
to be young
at heart
even Freud was Jung
from the very start
altho' childbirth
is a labour of love
it's all in the swing
of things
and to about-face
child discipline
is strictly a case
of heir conditioning

Heir

The house of my life
Is rotted and cracked.
The floorboards are warped,
And all of my broken windows
Welcome wind.

But from the rubble,
I’ll piece out a coat,
Made from my very best pieces and shards.
Patches of carpets that came from Tibet,
And the spiderweb strands of a once regal drape.

Cupped like an egg in a frothy current of days,
You, my bird, my bud, my tuft of fuzz and light,
Inherit this coat of broken things,
Something more meager than a manger,
But sewn from all the love wrung
From a wasted life.

Love Born Villain

Every love affair has a villain,
In the grape vines, this, we all learn.

What was once the garden of Eden,
With fights, become, love’s death den.

Where post morning lights ashine,
Forever the dark remains align.

To one; a mistake, abear,
To other; a villain, they heir.

                                    and thoughts that equals it shine,
                  goes boldly about.
                                           Ventures without fear to be another Shakespeare
                                  with another sonnet, or a hundred.
                           Take a drive and see Aurora
                       rise, like Maya Angelou
          on a road,
                            and get lost in Robert Frost.
                           The Sun, in its brightness,
                                seems to soar solely in the sky.
                                      The moon shares the sky with the stars in darkness.
                        Brightness and darkness
                                         appears to be their illegitimate children
                                             Brightness, darkness, shadow: a poet shines.

THE HEIR

THE HEIR

Beneath banners bold, a baby boy blooms,
His shaped realm royalty reign looms.
Heir to the hallowed, heartened throne room.
In his reign, a kingdom, he promised to prune.4

Tiny toes toward the tapestry tread,
Before the Queen Mother, his marbled path led.
His kingdom awaits, with bated breath & bliss,
A noble heir, designly destined for success.8

From his cradle, cradled with care,
To his preteen, prettily protected & père,
A princely presence, beyond compare.¹¹

In his eyes lies the witty wisdom of ages,
A lineage of leaders, handed down through stages.
From his tiny fingers, pure power shall flow,
Leading his kin & kingdom, with a gentle glow.¹5

Long live little one, as dreams take flight,
The throne awaits, cloaked in the night.
The future monarch's destiny is crystal clear.
The heir is here & the kingdom holds him dear.¹?

Crowned curls cradle, cherubic charm's cheer,
Stately son, sovereign small, so sincere.
Gazes gleam, as the gentle Queen grins,
For her future's found in her foremost kin.²³

Before Arthur, these were,
Times of magic and power.
The signs that stand before,
Showing the way,
Then disappears in a whisper.
Looking, searching, hoping,
As he looks to the Lady in the Lake,
For the answers and guidance, he seeks.
He calls out,
Waiting, Listening,
For an answer.
No one speaks to him,
Only to her.
One person, one heir, one woman,
Who was to be destined,
to be the chosen.
She is the first,
Protector of Excalibur.

The Tardis and the Heir

"... what I said is, I am the Artist, Who Shares..."

More heart than you could ever imagine

And alive with a beautiful vision

My passion is compassion

And my gifts are for giving

"... in the light of right sight..."

There is more to sharing

than you can envision

the lives we can touch

with a voice of caring

a chorus of love

and it's free...

"...for just believing..."

Premium Member Bad Heir Day

When often intestate a rich man dies,
From out of the woodwork suers materialize.
Long unheard from relations from far and near,
Each one crying and vying for a share,
As they petition the lawyer to find a solution
To an awful case of "heir pollution".

Why am I so poor
Oh, you aren't
You have
A family
A house
A car
An occupation
Feelings and love
And there are so many
Poorer
And poorest
You haven't encountered

Political Heir

Standing in the middle of the promised land
Searching for a platform to make my stand
Stepped into a world it's hard to stay
Looking for a toehold and a chance to play
Telling different stories, my life’s unclear
And my explanation I am sure creates fear
I AM A POLITICAL HEIR
      SOME COURTS AWARD, WHEN I SHINE, I GLARE
The next one in the white house; oh what’s their name
Were looking for our next goat, someone else to blame
Woke up in a fog with my work boots on
Wondering about a paycheck, but the memory’s gone
I AM A POLITICAL HEIR
SOME COURTS AWARD WHEN I SHINE, I GLARE

They say, all good things must end,
the pains afflicting;
why is love so ephemeral?
why do all good things disappear?
the grief burns yet here;
beating heart torments the soul so;
I may never understand or see;
what you wanted from me;
my love sentimental disillusions;
Don't grieve for me this intrusion;
darkness plagues the soul;
I'll hold your hand for always, you said I'm whole;
I mourn for your stare O God...
SADLY
Now, I am only a dream and your eternal heir

Fills me well to share with bliss.

With spiritual wealth of precious values
Secured by His assured salvation
Granted with life eternal to share compassionately.
