A need met

I did not, in any sense, desire a fight with my eye
The eye that keeps greedily taking glances,
Seeking to convince my soul to allow
Beauty,
fleeting pleasure,
and the glory of youth.
For indeed, youth is glory:
A flower that blossoms for a season.
For there lie a myriad forms of fruit,
And every fruit begins at a seed.
A seed suffers shame in many ways;
At times, a bird may take it as a snack.
A choice, in a way, must be made at the level of the seed:
Either be consumed, or be sown.
Both paths satisfy an innate desire.
A youth may take it as a snack;
An elder may sow it and allow it to rot for formation.
One fulfills a fleeting pleasure;
The other postpones urgent gratification.
In every path, some desire is embraced.
Yet at the sunset,
One is further advanced in multiplication,
While another adores only flashbacks.
In all, a need is met

Premium Member Ethereal

Evening breeze entices mortal souls,
Tangled dreams drifting amidst stars.
Harmonized vocals whispering with promise,
Elated to bask under heaven's dome,
Reincarnate bold ideals that strive to flourish.
Exhaling goodwill at every beat.
Audible gasps at the strike of midnight
Laden with hope for humankind.

A gift of goodwill dragged too far

In goodwill frame sans garnished aim,
A gift with a portmanteau name,
And given to a friend,
Motive nor any end,
Plane, polite gallantry, no game.
But world, wrapped in motive--
Subjective and dative,
Cause following effect
And fiction feigning fact,
Finds a fawn fawning in front of a dame.

Note: A goodwill gift given by PM Modi on visit to his counterpart of Italy—no more no less but becoming a hot subject of the chatter circuit of social media. This ditty cries out of this excess and still ends up with an excess of alliteration of its own in the end.

The Goodwill Shop

There was a shop that sold goodwill
But someone went and robbed the till
Refilling all the shelves with hate
Leaving customers to a terrible fate.

Their compulsion to shop went on and on
But what they bought proved to be wrong
Instead of what they wanted or sought
They ended up with a maleficent item bought.

So instead of a desire to live
A sense of hopelessness did they give
To their children and those they love
Such bitter fruits come not from above.

We need a discount sale on love and compassion
To stop our aching hearts a-crashin’
On the jagged rocks of despair
But does anyone really care?

Premium Member Friendly Passangers

Friendly passengers

Today, after work, I waited for the train
It was delayed, but later came, full of passengers
I saw there is no space for me. I needed to stay
And waiting for the next train
An indian man called me
“My friend! You have space here! Get on!”
We had a good chat during the trip
This Indian gentleman is filled with goodwill and God’s love
God bless him!

The same thing happened two days ago
But then it was morning, and then I was rushing to work
A friendly Polish guy said, “Come, brother, here is space!”
He was very smily, like Terence Hill
God bless this gentleman also!

Lord Cam's Message of Goodwill or The Goodwill Message Of Lord Cam

This is Cam's Goodwill Message or Lord Cam's Message Of Goodwill to all Humans.

We are living in a world of sin
Injustice, Selfishness and Racism.
And on human affaris it appears nobody cares'
And degradation is such an abomination
Poltical Opression, Victimisation, Cheating And Bribery.
Repeating Animosity.
No Sharing And Caring,And No Loving or Giving. Why?
For You see Principles Today
Fast Slipping Away.
Only To Stay, Oh Lord!
We've Gotto Consider, Lord, JUSTICE as Our SAVIOUR.
The Ship Has Gotto be stilled,
Either By Force Or By Will
But you must first Pledge to be
A Person of GOODWILL.
Even if They cheating you , Be Of Goodwill
Yes Be of Good will
Even Dey Exploiting you
You Must Still be of Goodwill.

The song for this is found on youtube under Lord Cam Message of Goodwill or Goodwill message. Also I have 27 other songs/calypsoes on youtube.

We see them popping up on random streets
in a neighbourly outreach kind of way.
We don't know who to thank
since no one steps up to claim the credit
but it's the community as a whole
who benefits in many wondrous ways.

The suburbs are delighted to champion
these ecofriendly gifts of sharing ~
not only charming but welcomed pointers that
goodwill and kindness are alive and well.

Goodwill Star

Don’t run away from this night,
For you are the jewel of my light.
Let not a stranger come between us,
For which other love can be a worthy bus?
In my dreams, you stand afar,
Come close and be my goodwill star.

Premium Member Autumn's Goodwill

September dreams follow the night,
Whispering peace, sighing soft and still,
Like music, echoing the soul’s delight.

October visions seek those she’ll excite,
Shadowing the spirit with dewdrop’s spill,
September dreams follow the night,

November imaginings color hearts right,
Glorious dreams the soul will fulfill,
Like music, echoing the soul’s delight.

Melting moments that poets soon write.
Autumn’s kindness brings such a thrill.
September dreams follow the night,

Rustlings of crisp leaves, beneath moonlight,
Pouring out hope across the morning chill,
Like music, echoing the soul’s delight.

Leaves cling to souls when they take flight,
Leaving memories of autumn’s goodwill,
September dreams follow the night,
Like music, echoing the soul’s delight.

Christmas Proclaimation - Peace On Earth; Goodwill To All Men

Brothers, sisters
Kindred spirits.
Angels - and best friends, all.
To all, alike.
Sharing, with us, the one
Father. High-sung.

World-ringed, resounds
The world once more
With this, His own clear voice.
Great heart's; through them.
Merciful indulgence!
True benevolence!

Premium Member Goodwill Overflowing

Praise be to the tranquil home
Where care and amity abide
Like a well-worn book or favorite poem
In whose members we confide
And whose values are our guide

Ill-fated is the raging home
Where resentment and cruelty reign
Like an outcast always bound to roam
Doomed to empty constant pain
Where no glimmer of will remain

Blessed is our home within
Where resides a treasure glowing
Without temptation need or sin
Just eternal pure love glowing
And goodwill overflowing

Chilling

I'm stuck on this sidewalk alone
I can't contact god with no phone
Confusing religion
No carrier pigeon
Why doesn't god send down a drone?

Brotherhood of Woods

The trees with tall reach,
What lofty wisdom they teach?
Brotherhood for good,

What alas men learn?
Destroy in grey greed, govern,
Needless thence to brood!
