Dress a girl a letter,
Printing numbers on her back.
Buy her flowers,
Give her powers,
Wrapping poison round her neck.
One day she’ll leave you,
She’ll deceive you,
And you’ll be better off dead.
So, you won’t get far with that head
Unless you break your neck
And yet you still ask to the sun
If the moon has won,
If the war has really ended
Or it's just begun.
So you’ll dress a girl a letter,
And print numbers on her neck.
Steal her powers,
Buy her flowers,
Say she’s better off dead.
Oh, you’ll deceive her,
But believe her,
When she’s messing with your head.
Ignore the blood beneath her nails ,
because you pay for them instead.
But the wars already won,
It was done and fun,
You were caught between a victory, a romance and a gun.
So when you pull your head together from the cracks beneath the earth
Steal her flowers
She’s deflowered
Push her back against the world
The war was won
And you are done
You are both swimming in your hurt
And then your hand reached for the gun.
You know those mountaintop moments
When your spirit seems to soar,
When all the stars align just for you,
When you have all you wanted and more?
Everything you touch seems to turn to gold
And you can do nothing stupid or wrong.
Mountaintop moments make you feel like
You are invincible, immortal and strong.
They seem to come infrequently and rarely do they last,
But when they hit, they make life worth living.
In the in-between time, we long for the rush and
Thrill mountaintop moments alone will be giving.
It’s the in-between time where we live out most of our days.
Struggling, straining, worrying, working to align our stars.
Some have come to understand there are better ways.
Alignment can be manifested through focused thought and prayers.
You can learn to flow with Lifes River, easily carrying you downstream,
No need to fight against the swirling currents, memories of your past.
In-between moments can be raised to perfection.
Peace and happiness lived daily, create mountaintop moments that last.

Life's flowing water
You can't stop with the flow
Go where it takes you.
Just go with the flow
Go upstream or swim the tide
We only live once.
Go with the flow they say,
But what's the point of it?,
When you can't even stop when you need to,
When you can't take ur time to enjoy the view,
Cause you'll be going in a flow,
A flow that'll never be in your own control,
A flow that's just a big fat troll,
Go with the flow they say,
You can see everything,
But can't stop to feel anything,
You can see everything the world has to offer,
But you can't stop in the middle of the flow,
Cause once you get in, It'll drag you along wherever it go,
And getting out is not as easy, do you know?
Go with the flow they say,
But will I? Hell no.
Tides will ebb and they will flow
But my love for you will only grow
As steady as, as steady goes
Nothing regarding you is faux
If you went away with me
I'd plan something for every day
Most other folks would think these strange
But I'm not like them anyway
Abandoned houses, bridges too
Old apple orchards long since bloomed
Stately, still with dignity
There's beauty in a tree deplumed
I don't need fancy, posh hotels
Let me sleep beneath the stars
Time with you does not compel
The nights are young, the days are ours
I love you lots my little dove
We'd fit together oh so well
Sometimes the hand, sometimes the glove
Stitched perfectly, no seam could tell
The last emperor, February chill,
Provokes nostalgic lust for summer heat -
My cool companion, Snowman, bittersweet -
I'll melt in hot embrace, he never will.
One vibrant life with season rapid flow,
No time for a preparatory draft,
Recapture every brush of nature's craft -
And frolic in the sun and in the snow.

Some days are bright and shiny
But it's got nothing to do with the weather
It's all to do with attitude
Sometimes the smallest things
Can send us down the path of negativity
Or conversely down “Happiness Street”
Depending on which way the wind's blowing
It's a tough life if you don't weaken
My advice to you guys is this...
GO WITH THE FLOW!
As hard as that may seem at times
Not to say we should always succumb
But compromise is the key word here
NOTHING is so important
That it stops us from kissing and making up
The simple phrase...
“I'M SORRY” means so so much
True true love will win out every time
TRUST ME!
Lord, be at my side when I knock on the door,
For I've sullied myself and I know the score.
If not for You He'd not let me in,
For I am unworthy and covered in sin.
Will You come with me when before Him I stand?
Will You speak for me, will You hold my hand;
For I am afraid Lord, and I am ashamed,
For my body and soul are ugly and stained.
I've been touched by anger and envy and lust,
By greed and vengeance and filled with mistrust;
But since You found me, I've tried hard to change.
It's been a slow process, but I've rearranged,
The way that I see things, the way that I feel.
It happened when finally, I knew You are real.
I invited You in and You changed my life.
I've slipped many times and there've been times of strife,
But You have stuck with me through thick and through thin,
And You never left me, You're my only true friend;
So, when the time comes will You come with me;
For as long as You're there the sin He won't see.
He'll listen to You if You'll speak for me.
He will forgive if You forgive me.
I'll no longer reek with the stench of my sin,
For You saved me and cleansed me and You brought me in.
If I could go ...
Wind, go with me
If I could go ...
Running across the sky
And find my way
I would go tonight
Running, running
Against the wind
If I have to ...
Then leap onto it
And let it carry me
The rest of the way
It knows the way ...
It knows more
Than I ever will
Wind, go with me
Not against me
Help me to
Jump the clouds
And skip over stars
Trip over thunder
Fall with the rain
Let me slide
Down a rainbow
And land next to
Where I belong
If that is all
I needed to do
To find my way
I would go ...
Running across the sky
If I could go ...
Wind, go with me
Would like to thank all my friends on the Soup
For all you sweet guys, I'd jump through hoops
No matter the country
Moods always sunny
Makes every single day as happy as poop
When few comments come in, I know it God's will.
He has something better for me in store to do.
I never feel alone or tearfully bereft.
Mans' moods, cannot steal my heart by theft.
Oh, they may try alright!
But it's only His will, that carries true might.
So dance when only a few comnents show.
It's nothing wrong with your poetry, I know.
Listen to the sound of your Divine Maker.
Stop trying to be a mover and a shaker!

When you go with the flow
it can lead to a nice pond,
relax, float upon your tube
amidst the leafy fronds.
But sometimes a nice flow
doesn’t end good at all,
sometimes that river flings
you off a waterfall.
Should you go with the flow?
Well I can’t help you there,
but if you go with the flow
it is best to take care.
You may end up nowhere.
Lord, be at my side when I knock on the door;
For I've sullied myself and I know the score.
If not for You, He'd not let me in,
For I am unworthy and covered in sin.
Will You come with me when before Him I stand?
Will You speak for me, will You hold my hand?
For I am afraid Lord, and I am ashamed,
For my body and soul are ugly and stained.

By greed and vengeance and filled with mistrust;

For You saved me and cleansed me and You brought me in.
Come and go with me
I want to go to heaven,
Oh, won't you go with me?
We'll glide across the Cosmos;
And swim the crystal sea.
Let us walk together,
To that great promise land.
Just past the pain and heartache,
We can go there hand in hand.
When we finish up this battle.
Run our race, stand strong and true.
I want to go to Heaven,
And I want to go with you.
Look there, there's our Jesus.
He will show us both the way.
He will keep us safe in travel;
And on that great judgement day.
He gives us each our ticket;
Our passage through the gate.
Get ready, oh please hurry.
We have no time to wait.
What on earth could be so precious,
What treasure you possess?
That you reject our Savior;
And his sweet celestial rest?
I want to go to Heaven.
It's time to go on home.
I want to go to Heaven,
But I don't want to go alone.
