SEEDS OF WISDOM

The seed of freedom is curtailed,
germinates interrupted,
the harvest is delayed...

The fruit of freedom
may take time to be harvested,
but it is worth every stoic sacrifice...

We cultivate God,
ending wars,
celebrating peace,
living life with love!

The sands of time dripping,
leaves and flowers wilting.
natural wisdom flowing!

Wisdom consists simply in...
knowing how to plant well,
cultivate, and harvest...!

Giving Caesar what is his,
is not ignominy, submission, it is
fulfilling temporal law, without being a doormat...!

A seed grown in shadow

When the seed of fear is planted in minds,
It germinates in brains as a tormentor—
Sometimes sown by a whisper,
a shadow,
a lie repeated twice.

When illusion becomes reality,
And starts by making the heart
     skip a beat,
then more of its beats,
then all of its beat.

It creates monsters in our eyes in the dark,
Born from our own imaginations.
And it can make them fly,
  swirl,
    drawl,
     crawl,
       and do anything—
Make our hairs stand on end,
Our feet walk on eggshells,
   on a slippery slope.

It can crimp us into a shrimp.
When it creeps into our grip,
It brings a nice gift of heebie-jeebies—
That send us on a purposeless,
directionless meander,
Like a chicken with head just severed
     and left unrestrained.

Fear teaches our hands to fight,
And reaches our legs to take flight,
But it’s never patient to judge us right,
Even when fear is out of sight.

When the seed of fear is well tendered,
Fear can even make us no longer
  fear fear.
When its taproot has eaten deep
    into the hypothalamus,
Then the mind is already gnawed by monsters
That, time and again, we created
     out of nothing.

KARMA

Karma that patient gangster
Very slow in action
But never fails to repay
Creeps into your life
Paying in double all your deeds
After replaying all your acts
Karma is just like a seed well planted in a good soil, it always germinates.

Karma the avenger
Rewarding your deeds accordingly
Either good or bad
The seeds you sowed
That's what you will get
Not what you need or wish to own
You can't plant yam then harvest cassava
Almighty God is for all not for anyone
That's why he's the ALL in ALL fighting for and rewarding all deeds.

Karma the life teacher
Saying you're what you do
For a goat can never give birth to a lion
You can't run away or hide
From your shadow forever
Whatever is in the dark
Always comes to the light with time
When you think it's over, karma comes visiting
Making you start all over again taking everything you didn't own genuinely.

TO POETIC REAPING

In the mind’s garden,
the poem of poems, germinates
in its fertile soil:
The poem’s ripening word-fruits
seeded with enlightenment:-

May poetic grace
be reaped from rhythmic sows
of flowing guidance:-

May poetic words
be cultivated throughout
all of the seasons:-

In the mind’s garden
may inspirational grace
forever blossom:
And may encouraging light
ever be sun-shined:-

Praises be to God
for fertilizing my mind’s
poetic garden:-

FAITHFULLY OVERCOMING
    (A Senryu Quartet)

Leaves of pain falling...
Waterfall agony flows...
Healing faith sown...

Sowed faith germinates,
Sprouting in all its fullness;
Healing grace blooming:-

Hope's fruits ripening,
Their juice healing bitterness;
Faithfull healing reaped:-

We reap what we sow;
germinated faith heals all
in her great harvest:-

slow strangulation
osmotically penetrating
the very fabric of our being
stymied before fear germinates
simply by our nonchalant observation
plateaus off the sunken vibration
which we look at slowly ebbing
disengaging from our ego

such are silent battles we wage
moment to moment, day by day
that we may dwell in light of Self

Premium MemberSeed of Hope

Deep in the earth, a tiny seed
Lies dormant, awaiting its chance to feed
On sunshine, water, nurturing care
To grow and bloom, its beauty to share

This seed of hope, so small and shy
Contains within it the power to thrive
With patience and love, it will unfold
And flourish into a vibrant whole

Though the journey may be long and hard
And obstacles may fill our path
We too carry within us a seed of hope
That germinates through faith and optimism's scope

So let us tend to this precious seed
With tenderness, love, and empathy
And give it all the water, sunshine, and air
To grow into a wondrous affair

For though the darkness may seem so bleak
And our hearts pounded sore and weak
We still have strength within us to cope
Thanks to the seed of hope, old as hope.

POETIC ESSENCE

a creative
impulse
on the spur
of the moment
in drops
 of poetic essence

spontaneous
& prolific
from the workings
of the heart
 to distil
into
another’s mind

A painting
with words
uttered
one by one
to another
an experience
of the wind &rain
of ordinary life
An
intimate invitation
to stroll within
 & behind the veil,
’neath inspiration’s
triumphal arch
 there
 to share & participate
in the raw reality
of the creative
 drive of another

 A vision enhanced
 by mutual
experience
of each
One thing
leads to another
translating
awareness of new
 & deeper meaning
 germinates
the empathy
 orchestrates
the chords
 as together
 explore
the world
 of the poetic

Paisley at my bosom, soft head tadpoles
Wrapped dependent, rest in trust cherubic
Teeth buds plump palms grip my knee, betrothal
           Chatter germinates language sporadic

           Gurgled contentment, vowel upswings strangle
Trance silence slumps little limbs from frantic
           Pure rapture adoration fresh angle
Rock A Baby slobbered face romantic

Blossomed brood, clan, cluster, fan club gaggle
          Toddle boldly confident beyond skill
          Awe for mundane magnifies appraisal
          Frustration annulled, infantile stun still

Sibling envy love wound rigid, rough rope
          Petals inseperable open with hope

Premium MemberAbove Ground

One voice it speaks, the forest confides
Its concealed union where it resides
A homeland above, below its essence abides
One voice it speaks, nature’s secret to provide

Winds blow over limb laden trees
As the acorn drops into its fate
Above the knotted, gnarled debris
Into salamander soils to wait

Its whisper does not to hesitate
It germinates unlocking its splendid fruit
To open wide in all its glory to imitate
The guardian family of oak and root

One voice it speaks, the forest confides
Its concealed union where it resides
A homeland above, below its essence abides
One voice it speaks, nature’s secret to provide

Pausing intent that germinates
What is it’s origin
If to throbs divine, soul gyrates
Bliss pure essence virgin

Leaving nothing to chance
Discern before we dance
Had, heart, love, in balance

Pausing intent

Premium MemberPall of Prejudice

As the paradigm of evolution down the line
formulates a set of human values of intent,
the survival instinct, an axiomatic need,
gets woven in the fabric of consciousness.

The seeds of empathy embedded in the mind
germinates and grows as sapling of humane traits.
The buds of beliefs blossom to adorn
the structured societal norm of harmony.

But the mist of intolerance of the complex times,
clouds the modern man’s jaundiced eye,
altruistic intents are shrouded by pall of prejudice,
fabricating a biased and motivated value system.

In the abyss of narrow ethical perception
alienated lives wander in the secluded alley.
For them to find oneness of soul under the divine sky,
it’s time to clear the predisposed colored vision.
