feeling the trigger points
of bliss electricity within
the aspect of us in form
delights at the offering
whist the aspect formless
witnesses the play in stillness

the flame is an exultation
of ignition renewal continual
as such egoless and genderless
being simply divine energy
expressing itself in body-mind
transmuting dust as living light

Elephant trunk palms column, canopy claps hands
   Undergrowth glad heart shape leaves spiral
   Navigator vines map branches, brace boa banyan
   Utile duenna diary with my duties conspiring
   Chaperone rope binds silent beside my grand plan

   Helpmaster holsters my faltering stride, hips squared
   Essential weapon for war against mediocrity
   Netted fruit bag binds ideas, ripe inspiration shared
   Collaboration binges exchanges evocatively
   Oversees growth, buffers fumbles, humiliation spared

   Unbias advisor straddles drama, miniscule mosquitos
   Raised beyond current, stilts lift clear of silt
   Above ravaging river, twig leg log cabin cosy kudos
   Guileless sunrise server castrates lumpy guilt
   Enmeshed mirror wishes bud symmetrical smiling rose

   Mentor each moment monitor prods my furtive dreams
   Enlivens rainblur haze, unravels twisted maze
   Narrows channel between now and zany zone supreme
   Twines possible to present, pours zesty praise
   Strengthened, gender invalid, my meridian self esteem

What's In a Name

Some people say the meaning of my name is Good citizen
and some say it means Good daughter but there is a pitiful
story behind my name,I have been mistaken for a boy
because of my rare name,since my childhood and I often try
to elucidate the meaning to my new friends who wrongly
pronounce my name;It is a genderless name actually

Body: a Glose

“Consider the kind of body that enters blueness,
made out of dead-end myth and mischievous
whispers of an old, borderless
existence where the body’s meaning is both more and less.”
- Eavan Boland, ‘How It Was Once In Our Country’

Liminal, caught in the suction
of waves falling back to the sea.
Hybrid, fluid between worlds which
split genderless identity;
consider the kind of body that enters blueness.

Luring lost sailors onto rocks,
rulers of river, rain and sea.
Prototype virgins, sexless souls,
paradoxical history.
Made out of dead-end myth and mischievous

narratives that flow with the tide;
shape-shifting siren, lost and found
with knife-slashed legs and open mouth
a bleeding hole whose only sound
whispers of an old, borderless

story echoed through centuries.
Transient tides hide paradox,
detached pain and volatile self
which rise and crash like waves on rocks.
Existence where the body’s meaning is both more and less.

Privy Divvy

If you pull on her leg slightly lifting her skirt;
She’ll consistently remind you that you could get hurt.
She claims she’s short on attention just like a cat;
So best throw out some tricks from under your hat.
She’s an angel of mercy familiar with pain;
With the skill of a mystic that dismantles your game.
To performers as victim broken of heart;
She’s the carver of excess that could cut you apart.
   She’s good and she’s bad and stays to herself;
   But she keeps her binoculars there on the shelf.
   He’s layered and sweetened salted with nuts;
   With a curse that’s forever much like king tut.
   A piece of him cares most of him don’t;
   And it looks like she might but he knows that she won’t.
   It’s all just diversion a genderless klatch;
   Perhaps but a race that the Talley man scratched

Don'T

don’t pretend you worry
or even that you care
don’t pretend it matters to you
don’t you ****ing dare

I always want to be your friend
I’ll just be a phone call away
Your sadness I’ll always try to mend
In your sex games I’ll even play

But don’t think I’m oblivious
Don’t think that I don’t notice
This thing that is so obvious
The way we are never us

You expect me to do what you want
You think that I’m in love with you
You’ll never be all of what I want
I’ve gotten over you

I’ve realized things, I’ve noticed things
I can’t make you do the same
You just won’t let go these things
You’re holding on to pain

You’ll measure everyone against him
And if they aren’t the same
You’ll treat them like amusements
Temp'ry and mundane

Maybe you only talk to me
Because I’m always there
Maybe you only look at me
As a genderless place to share

You want to talk, you want to play
Fine I will always listen
But don’t pretend at end of day
This is but what it isn’t

The Friar

The friar
                                  Revered innocence

You’ve got to try it
put it on your lap
a smiling little thing
still sheer and brittle
if possible blind or deaf,
almost genderless.
It just sits there
an unweaned lamb.

Take the little head
gentle it downwards
to the issue of our charity
Lead it, shovel if necessary.
Don’t be scared!

Today it’s allowed
your parents too far:
the force of every belief
too big to grasp.
Sooner or later it pushes
to where we assumed
our hands were in power.

Culture Peddle

Who do you think you are fooling?
Indoctrination is the name of the game,
And Mammon is the supreme God.
Jesus, Ram, Allah and Buddha
Are icons for sale.

Prayer music and such-like
Is techno-clink in the tills
Packaged salvation brings unity
For joint commercial ventures.

Catwalk queens prostitute themselves
For cosmetic gains.
Are we redefining pulchritude
Mouthing social themes?
Converting silicone assets
And marketing post mortem sight
For demi-gods to sell?

When the cacophony of a genderless crooner
Becomes cultural music to ears
It’s time, my friend, to search our souls!
