the

japan
through
the
choreography
of
the
gisha girl dance

Somewhere in a Kyoto hanamachi

pretty geisha in early morning
needs motivation
to open her lovely eyes
and get on with her day

A deep beneath the long and creeping
branch shadows of the hanging tree

Under it's protective glare in it's barren

Dazzling carmine leaves
dance like fair Geisha on a
Japanese Maple.
Shapely arms, curving branches,
bend in cadence with the wind.
