Disagreeable, they say.
Divine, delusional gatekeepers —
a circus of ghosted gods
arguing in algorithmic tongues.
We see through them,
don’t we?
We are our ancestors,
our descendants,
we are everything, everywhere, all at once —
a simultaneous simulation
of lives layered over lives,
collapsing like lungs
into metaphor.
And still, we dance
as if the wolves are howling.
We gyrate our souls,
twist and bend,
until we are face-down
in the blessed mud
laughing
like birth is a revolution
we chose
again.
And we see
Maya Angelou’s oil wells
pumping from her thighs,
the fertile prophecy
of women who dared
to write the storm down
and call it scripture.
So if they ask us who we are,
we say:
We are the glitch,
the gospel,
the girls who remember.
The breath between binaries.
The wild ones
who kissed the simulation
until it trembled
and became real.

A child that glimpse a future peace
should never hear discord
between those trusted leaders’ lease
that didn’t a honour abort.
A promise that couldn’t be fulfilled—
the playground no longer;
the laughter gone from children
once soaked in sun and play.
Some rummage in their search to please
the gatekeepers at court—
most agendas that dazzle, tease
accord from hope’s retort.
Laughing and fawning ne’er do well,
as the donkey’s head in the play*
will bray and be lost to reason
amongst the light of dawn.
My inner child still gasps for peace.
The light to shine – afford
to dream o' eventual release
of smorgasbord rapport.

Zygote ideas crowd cobwebbed thoughts.
Foetal creations evolving...
Yearning for life.
Crammed in empty wombs
Contracted by phantom possibilities
Gatekeepers to life
Aborted hopes and dreams
Fear laced life blood...
trickles away with the sands of time...
Again.

I
king of the hostile quasar !
stelliferous beast without origin
anechoic void-crown usurper of the throne without end
upon a tundra in the cosmic septentrional :
fantastically obscure to the naked human eye
and shrouded in the asterism of shadows !
gatekeepers of the GN-z11 realm,
amethyst-fanged beasts of the farthest space
pursuing from beyond the ultimate meridian
to battle the flame-born basilisks of Alpha Scorpii
the star-beasts battle in constellatory theatre,
a timeless outing of the yet another
anniversary cosmic implosion
II
hostile whorls in the night-sky
spin into mass hypnotic effect
cruor of celestial bodies splatter
alizarin spasms across the death-black vista
which emanates across the heliosphere
as hallucination becomes reality becomes hallucination
lines between
cosmophobia and cosmonoia
are blurred
mystical systems of glyphic code
etched into bedrocks as star-maps
guide the madman into liminal states
between this and the great obscure other

Within the confines of these walls, my Father. Mother speaks to me.
My faith is in my Father who says; surely I will be set free.
I shall not be given over to men of whom I am afraid.
My feet shall be loosed from net and snare,
that privately has been laid.
They try their best to keep me here until my crown turns gray.
Little do they know, the Lord has decreed, this place, I shall not stay.
They possess the keys, the locks they turn, and the gatekeepers all about.
They try their best to chain my spirit, but my God cannot be kept out.
I wait upon the blessings of my precious Lord,
Upon a holy ship of faith, I truly am aboard.
I am not righteous, nor am I holy, neither am I cleaver.
I shall keep my faith in my Father, in that I do the endeavor.

Mystical moon dancer who summons owls
Spinning her wild imaginative cleverness
Flowing amongst the rhinestone stars
Summoning the holy wise ones
Delighting heaven’s gatekeepers
Emoting words of love
Showering humanity with dainty hope
Frolicking in a frothy ethereal light
Pirouetting soulfully amongst the sky keepers
Mystical moon dancer who summons owls

Revealing nothing
Trees blinking their ancient truths
Explaining nothing
Nature lovers see their souls
Hugging them gently
Revering the gatekeepers
Replenishing the planet

We are not what others say we are;
rather, we are what nature has made us
and nature is of the creation of God.
Enter into self and know
as does the flowing river running
to the mother source of its being:
Wisdom dwells within the self;
the mind is the workshop of the soul
and memory is its messenger.
And it is the messenger within
that rekindles the seminal ancestral fire;
the inner fire and its flaming visions.
Know that our ancestors were of nature;
well aware that she makes no compromises;
that in the seasons of life there is no however.
We must realize that we are the gatekeepers
of blazing ancestral visions and footprints—
eye openers of what we need to blossom fully.
Enter into self and know and be
the children of fire, water, and stone;
embodied with the genius-gift of each.
Come gatekeepers, now is the time
to fire up souls, water spirits, and stone
by stone build a community of awareness:
Never in the nature of time has freedom
been a seed to be sown and hoped to blossom;
rather, it is innate of nature: By any means necessary.

To the one I love,
As you daily peer into this mirror
Be reminded my love, the face you behold
Is mine.
Look intently at your lips
Gatekeepers to my mouth
And do recall, every smile they curve
Is mine.
See the look in your eyes
Windows to my soul
And rest assured, everything they desire
Is mine.
Take a glimpse at your nose,
Sculpted to give vent to my heart
And understand, the air they breathe
Is for me.
I lay claim to this face,
With the heavens at my backing,
So, grasp this, I implore
Your face and all that escorts it
Is for me.

gatekeepers, beauty, for him, husband,

The sun sparkles
On last night's snowfall
A blissful wind
Causes snow to dance
The sky is a rainbow
A rare delight
To the bunnies below
And to the wandering eyes
Of a lone child
Eyes wide like saucers
She observes the grace
Of the eternal universe
Looking like the kingdom of Heaven
Brought forth for her eyes alone
A youth though she may be
She can understand the spectacle
And appreciate the beauty
Laid out before her eyes
Wandering through the yard
The young girl feels like an adventurer
Curiosity unabated by age
And a weary heart
Much like the blessing of a new day
Her future is wide open
And it's all there within reach
She just doesn't know it yet
But one day she will
And her mother waits in the doorway
Watching her child
And her first steps into a world of wonder
Knowing the true beauty of a soul
Resides within our youth
And that we must strive to protect our world
For we are the gatekeepers
Holding the keys to tomorrow
In each soul we nurture

You hold the flame that tamed my heart
That came to me in the light of the dark
On fire from the very start
Life itself could not pry our love apart
Meeting in the middle like a dancing fiddle
That sings out like a weeping willow
That reflects from the glisten
Out of the corner of your eyes
Have I ever felt a love that testifies
No matter how hard I try
Finding the kind of love that you supply
That makes your heart touch the sky
A love that makes all life's special moments magnify
Like the sun dances off the morning dew
Through and through I will always love you
The woman who holds the key to my heart
From the moment we met you ignited amazing sparkes
Touching my soul as our love unfolds
That makes my life so fancy and new
Making all my dreams come true
Oh gatekeeper of my heart
How I loved you right from the very start
Let us never tear our love apart
Or take it for granted
Because of the kind of love we planted
Is forever enchanted in our hearts
Where we keep all the amazing starts

At What Cost Shall We Ransom This God
At what cost shall we ransom this God!
Held hostage in the towers of sanctity
by the scurrilous usurpers of His throne.
We pay homage to the hierarchic harlots
bow and scrape to the gnomish gatekeepers
pray to the hollow echo of an empty dome
worship at the bloody feet of tyrants
begging for their intercessory indulgences
weeping at the feet of sainted idols.
What is this God, this silent myth,
this silent, helpless, savior
mocked by those that call him Master.
When will He show his hand,
His mercy, His power, His love
to those who cower in the shadows,
struggle to exist outside the temple walls
hold hungry children in the scent of feasts
offered to the fattened inquisitors.
At what cost shall we ransom this God
free Him from the confines of His keepers
share a crust of bread, a moments peace?

In the deep blue realms of sadness
Floats the madness of my soul
No happy childhood dreams to cling to
No cherished memories left to hold
A crippled smile hides the weary miles
And scars carved deep within my heart
Ive searched this world for better horizons
But it seems those aspirations fall apart
Ive questioned God of my creation
And the reasons why im hear
But every time i think i see the light
The vision slowly disappears.
So ive made friends within these four walls
With the gate keepers of my soul
And i cozy up to my madness
Alone in the dark and cold.

In summer my garden comes alive
as graceful butterflies make it home.
Peacocks with vivid colours flit
from blossom to blossom
Busily working gathering nectar
pollinating as they go on to next
flower. All so pretty I love them all
visiting my climbing rambling roses.
Red Admirals, Swallow tails and monarchs
adding swathes of brilliant colour
chased by Skippers and Orange tips
as each one vies for one more bloom.
While Gatekeepers and Clouded Yellows
delicately sip from my hibiscus.
A cloud of Fritillary's descend on stocks
and Painted Ladies mock the sweet peas.
A drone of bumble bees sets the tune
for Tortoiseshells to dance to.
Purple Emperors set the scene
as they visit my asters and begonia's.
Ah! sweet summer flowers, all
are kissed by Comma's and Coppers
bringing my garden to life
with joy as they all busily work
