in Political Gaslighting.
Where there’s an effort to gain,
an advantage by backbiting.
Another then is sought out,
to place undeserved blame.
Some fail to realize,
it’s childish mind game.

Desperation's Undercurrent

The hurt is pooling in my throat

and to avert the watershed,
you build the dams I tolerate,
make my demands the stagnant moat
where if the bridge is drawn, I'll drown

Gaslight Me

Gaslight me, baby.

I don't want to hear the truth. Tell me you love me. Say you need me. Promise you'll never leave me. Convince me you think I hung, not just the moon, but the sun and stars as well. Delude me into believing that for you the sex was mind-blowing, that I was enough.

Gaslighting

Gaslighting is and does cunningly deceive,
A twisted dance of falsehoods spun around,
Doubt blooms, reality's roots unbound,
Truth Is doubt and doubt is truth world round.

Emotions frayed, like fragile threads they fray,
Confusion reigns, as truth gets led astray,
Yet in this darkness, strength shall rise anew,
